You can't bring in a 2 to 3 star football players and expect to win a National Championship just like you can't bring a 2 to 3 star coach to win a National Championship. Only thing you're getting if you get in Houston's coach is the offensive coordinator that will only be A 2 to 3 star coordinator. He won't last here. In life you have to face the fact of where you fit into the pecking order. Some people are just way better than others. If there wasn't then they wouldn't give those Star's! Now I know Jimbo Fisher thinks he's worth the 10 million that they might be offering Nick Saban , but he's not. he stayed where there's less pressure on him. He understands that he is only a four-star coach and a five-star assistant coach. Can't come to a 5 star school being a 2 or 3 star coach 5 players. It's just not going to last long or any good. Do the right thing LSU AD and board members and boosters...... raise the ante if you have to! Go give Saban 11 million and rock the world!Read Less

The LSU campus was under a melancholy veil, due to the postponement of the game with Florida, in Tallahassee. They were cursing out the hurricane all over campus. My friends, who attend Southern University, had tickets to the game. They were going to " behave" and enjoy one hundred thousand people shouting and screaming! College football( SEC) at its best. Me and my fellow Mizzou alums who made the trip down from Missouri and elsewhere (and subsequently up from NOLA on the longest bus ride of all time) had an amazing time partying on the parade grounds. The LSU fans were gracious and welcoming, with the exception of a few "Tigerbait" chants. Would definitely go back and recommend anyone to visit if they haven't--particularly for a night game. Bloody evil, stupid, for-profit insurance company. The new LSU health insurance policy doesnt cover my meds For ADD?! how is that even possible ?? Not only that, this new policy doesnt cover another medication that has a warning to never quit cold turkey because it could cause serious psyc side effects. And of course they will not reimburse visits to my therapist. (no real surprise there. ) LSU is about to be filled with a shit-ton of ADHA, off-their-psych-meds, undergrads, grad students and spouses, who are still reeling from a natural disaster and rebuilding their homes and lives.
