I am so thankful for the vets at Red River! Not only did they help out with Roany three weeks ago after midnight, she bled for the first time ever, at 14! They stayed in touch with me while she recovered and cleared her to run again last week. Dr. Honea asked me to let him know how she was doing and how last nights run went, since it was the first time she would run after bleeding. He immediately texted back when I told him about our good night. Told me what steps to take next, and that I can continue to run her as long as it doesn't happen again!! So blessed to have met a vet that truly cares about their patients! Thank you Red River Equine and Dr. Honea. Dr. Matt Honea is wonderful. We had him come out to our place to check out our two new horses. He was gentle and patient with mom, Tiger Lily, and her colt, Chief. I was also pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost was for a farm visit, vaccines for both, micro chip for both, and a wellness check. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!
