I can say enough positive things about Dr Ford and Bossier Animal Hospital. We met Dr Ford in an emergency situation last week. The staff kindly made a spot to accommodate us and stayed late, when we were not even established clients. Our outcome ended up not being what we would of liked, but the passing of our pup to the rainbow bridge could not of been more reassuring and heartfelt. WELLNESS PLAN IS A SCAM! "Discounts" are off inflated prices. After expensive lab tests, they told me 1 dog was sick, the other healthy. A few months later, the HEALTHY dog died of liver failure! They either mixed up the blood work or never ran the tests I paid for. The paperwork says the Vet went over everything with me. LIE. The paperwork says the dog's coat "is in good condition with no blemishes ", SHE HAS BLEEDING SKIN LESIONS!!! I wonder if the Vet is really a Vet? Read Less

Dr. Snyder cares. This is evident in many ways and one of the most obvious and yet unseen by many is the fact that the staff remains a constant. Mrs. Phyllis has worked for him for as many years as he's been there! A son of some clients I whose dog I was hired to train began working for him and seemingly overnight has become a man and is still there as well. Then, there are mine and my wife's animals which we would never take anywhere else because we know every animal's important to him. One final note: DR. My Mother just took her 6 week old kitten for a check up and Dr Synder put resolution behind her ear just in case of any mites or warms etc. Immediately she got sick and DIED the same night!!! It's suppose to be 8 weeks. I DO NOT recommend this Dr. It's all about collecting his money! Read Less

It's been awhile since we've seen Dr. Snyder and staff. At the end of the month I'll be boarding my 3 bundles of joy with him for a week. Dr. Snyder has always been professional and caring. He understands that even though my children have 4 legs and a tail they are not dogs , they are babies to me. I seldom travel without Nevin, Maxx and Everest, this will be a first in about 5 years. Took my Great Dane Thor in for a check up, tail infection and nail trimming. The staff was great and friendly and very attentive. We didnt see Dr Snyder because he was away but the other vet (i forget her name) was great. Prices for the services provided were fair but the antibiotics for his tail were outrageous. However, thats understandable since hes so big he needs more than the average dog. Nail trimming looked great too. Very happy to have found such a great vet Read Less
