Do not recommend. I am so sad. The doctor gave me an empty medicine. When I opened the BRAND NEW BOX, no medicine was in there. I opened it in my car before going home because I thought I had to go to...
Do not recommend. I am so sad. The doctor gave me an empty medicine. When I opened the BRAND NEW BOX, no medicine was in there. I opened it in my car before going home because I thought I had to go to CVS to fill the prescription. I called but they were already closed. I had to listen to my dog whine for 5 hours because I had no medicine. She claimed that she gave me a bag and showed me how to do it. LIES! How do you show someone how to work a syringe when I dont have medicine. How do you take something out of a bag when you never gave them one. I walked out with a receipt and an empty box. Then (I think her name was Christy, or Chrissy) doesnt even have guts to come up to the desk, to clear the air and talk to me when she made a mistake. THEN still makes me pay for new medications when she messed up in the first place. I dont care about the money, my dog is in pain and just wanted him better. Worst experience ever. The desk lady who likes dachshund was nice though the whole time. Thank you for that. I went home balling my eyes out afterward. I will be changing vets.

I cannot praise this vet clinic enough. They have treated both my dogs for 3 years. One of my dogs is deaf and prone to hip problems and they are so personable with him and always aware of his ailme...
I cannot praise this vet clinic enough. They have treated both my dogs for 3 years. One of my dogs is deaf and prone to hip problems and they are so personable with him and always aware of his ailments. My other dog is old and has just started having severe seizures. They have handled her with such care and compassion and are so sweet with my emotional state as well! Dr. Meier is absolutely amazing and Angela at the front desk is so personable and efficient! I LOVE that they take walk-ins and i have never had to wait an extended amount of time. Totally Recommended this vet clinic!!

I took y dog Bentley to have his staple removed when I got there I decided I wanted other services I had spoken to someone about getting his nails trimmed and a bath for whatever reason I think they only gave him a bath I looked at my dogs privates almost a month later yo my horror his staple was still there the vet took care of the issue but I think the problem may have been with his staff I was made to pay up front not sure if they do that to everyone needless to say I had so called credit because they did a crappy job on his nails I tried to give them another chance because the location is closed I asked if I could get my dog a bath and that nailtrim I paid for but didn't get the young lady seemed dismissive and told me I would have to wait several more days and come in nine o'clock one morning they are not open on Saturday's but I did find a dog groomers that's even closer and I will be looking for Bentley a regular vet once again it may have been an issue with staff Maby not the vet himself they seemed to be nice to Bentley and the vet seemed professional but that's my experience

The staff are always very friendly and the vet seems very knowledgeable. But I can't help but feel like I end up paying so much money for a lot of things I don't need. For our routine visits everything is great, but for the two times I brought my dog in for something out of the ordinary (once for a skin issue and again for unexplained diarrhea) they never give me the cheap option. They like to give me brand name drugs and no alternative. I wish the vet or the vet techs would discuss with me the costs before doing something or prescribing. This time around for my dog's diarrhea, I really only came in because I wanted to ask the doctor if it was alright to give him some imodium. But then they ran 3 different tests, did a physical exam, and prescribed $50 worth of medication when my dog is not even experience bad diarrhea anymore. My dog is literally feeling so fine right now that I'm so mad at him for making me feel like I needed to take him to the vet.
And it's not that I am against being thorough, but I just really wish they would be more considerate in telling me what they are going to do, how much it will costs, and then ask if I want to do it before they just start doing everything while I'm locked in a office thinking, "I think they misunderstood when I said I just wanted to 'ask' the vet...I really should have spoke up..."

The staff at JDAH are so kind and friendly - I rescued a small dog recently and since they accept walk-ins, they were able to check her out and set her up for great health very quickly. Dr. Meier took time out to discuss how she was doing, any possible issues she may be having and preventitive treatments. I cannot express how grateful I am that he and his staff were so were welcoming and for them going above and beyond what might be considered just a routine visit to a vets office. Thank you all!

I took my dog in to be seen during their walk in hours. I had to wait a little while (as to be expected during walk-in hours) but the staff was so friendly. The technician and the doctor were both great with my dog and I left there feeling like they really cared about her. Highly recommended!

Do not recommend. I am so sad. The doctor gave me an empty medicine. When I opened the BRAND NEW BOX, no medicine was in there. I cannot praise this vet clinic enough. They have treated both my dogs for 3 years. One of my dogs is deaf and prone to hip problems and they are so personable with him and always aware of his ailments. My other dog is old and has just started having severe seizures. The staff at JDAH are so kind and friendly - I rescued a small dog recently and since they accept walk-ins, they were able to check her out and set her up for great health very quickly. Dr. Meier took time out to discuss how she was doing, any possible issues she may be having and preventitive treatments. I cannot express how grateful I am that he and his staff were so were welcoming and for them going above and beyond what might be considered just a routine visit to a vets office. Thank you all!

I took my dog in to be seen during their walk in hours. I had to wait a little while (as to be expected during walk-in hours) but the staff was so friendly. The technician and the doctor were both great with my dog and I left there feeling like they really cared about her. Highly recommended!
