Only been here once but it was a good experience. Staff was very friendly and very patient with me having to bring my boys with. They were very gentle with my kitty. They treated him for an eye infection and it is healing well. Will be returning there for future services. Read Less

I called the other day about a stray dog that had wondered into my yard limping. I inspected his paw and saw that it had a cut on the underside. So, i called and simply asked if i should wrap it or not and they would not give me any information since I wasn't a current client. I personally think that as a vet you should be more interested in the animals well being than making a buck by only recommending an appointment. A simple yes or no would have been a sufficient enough answer. I'm very disappointed the other vet off of Rees Street closed because in the past I was able to call easily and ask him questions pertaining to other strays in the area and he would gladly give me an answer. First time here. Came for emergency care, and she saved my dear cat's life. I worried about the bill, especially considering her two night weekend stay, but was pleasantly surprised to find it much less than I expected. They kept me informed throughout the experience, and the office even called to check on her after release. These people care about pets, and their families. Highly recommend. Read Less

Dr Audrey and her staff are bar none, the best! They treated my baby girl Riley Jane with the most loving and caring hands when we went in for her allergies. This is the first vet that she feels comfortable and safe enough not to shake around or put on her brakes before she walks through the door. Wanted to amputate my dogs legs after got hit by a car. My toy poodle healed fine and uses his legs fine. Also we Took my chihuahua there due to ill several hundreds of dollars later could not find anything wrong and she passed. Read Less

My sweet kitty needed ear surgery and we were terrified we wouldn't be able to afford surgery but because they are so affordable we were able to get our little man all fixed up! After searching for my cat for 3 days my brother in law found him under the neighbor's house near death. He rushed him to Bayou Teche Veterinary Clinic, & was told he needed to be euthanized. They told my brother in law he could not leave until payment was received. I called & spoke to Lou. I asked if I could pay over the phone. She said "No you can't pay over the phone. I don't know who you are". I explained that I was working in Lafayette & couldn't make it there for 2 hours. I asked how we should handle the situation. She responded "Well I don't know how you're going to handle it but I'm not taking your payment over the phone". I asked her if they were going to make my brother in law stay there until I arrived. She said "I don't know what the Dr told him". I had to send someone there to pay. Lou was just as rude to her! Lou got this office a horrible review, and I will not recommend this place as long as she is employed there. PS The Dr was very professional & polite is what I was told.
