Dr. Venable was/is very nice and polite and informative introduced himself also the young man Tyler Beesly who helped the doctor was very kind, respectful, gentle, patients with our furbabies very intelligent young man made us feel welcome. Helped me understand the preventative care for heart worms and also fleas. Dr. Mike Venable and his staff are the best! I have transferred all of my animals to this clinic for their future care. Very high quality service yet down to earth when relating to his patients and their parents. Dr. Mike truly cares about his furry patients and I am so glad I switched over to this clinic. I have two dogs and a cat and he does well with all of them. Will make telephone calls to keep you apprised of any test results and is always open to discussing the wellness of your babies. The quality of prescription food they provide is great also. If they don't have it, they can order it and it arrives quickly. Love this place! Read Less

Visiting from out of town and needed to see a vet quickly. They not only accommodated me immediately, but when my puppy needed extra services they made an appointment for me at a facility that could readily address is further needs. Horrible place, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS. Arrived with my sick 8 1/2 week old puppy at 5pm when they close at 5:30. My pup had been vomiting for most of the day and was not in good shape. The receptionist, did not take the time to even see the dog not even to know if it was a dog or a cat. After asking her for help she informed me that no patients are taken after 4:30 which is odd if they close at 5:30. Then proceeded to say that if they did take him it would be an emergency fee of $95, I agreed to that. She went to ask the vet and they did not take my puppy. I do not believe this is the way you treat customers and peoples family members. I will not return here, although it is the most convenient location to me. Read Less

I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone. We recently moved to the area and had never been to the office. When my dog became ill, the office fit him into the schedule based on his symptoms. The staff is very caring and friendly. The vet was very informative and understanding. She made every accommodation possible for my dog. I used them for 4.5 years. Expensive but mostly good until recently. Liz the receptionist is very good. I boarded my dog for several days. She had a heart condition which they were treating her for. When I picked up my dog and brought her home, she fell over with weakness. She was dehydrated and had not eaten. I had to take her to another vet. She died on Thanksgiving morning. It was the boarding staff at Parkway that was to blame. Read Less
