We've had a dog with underlying health issues his entire life. He's been to vets that recommended specialists, other vets suggested he had advanced (expensive and unsolvable) medical issues. And what was even better is that they checked up on us while we were getting the solution they recommended in place. And they did it via email and on off hours. I went to see Dr Dan for an emergency appointment with my precious Bizkit (chihuahua) this morning. He was a heaven sent angel to me. Bizkit was very bad off, Dr Dan tried to save him, unfortunately Bizkit passed away once we got home. I appreciate all that was done for my precious Bizkit, I will always refer this office to anyone who needs veterinarian care. Dr. Danny, Dr Alissa, and the staff at Animal Medical Center are the best. They are caring, observant, and realistic in their approach. They are sensitive to both your pets needs and balancing the care choices to your budget limitations. I'm very impressed with how they make time to answer my questions and follow up with me when needed. These are the nicest people. It's like the Olive Garden, when you're there, you're family. They won't make you sit in a room while they take your dog out of site. Instead, they will work with you, and include you in the dog's examination. They were the only Vet who could clear up my dog's ear infection. I really like this place. Two thumbs up. Read Less

My husband and I have three dachshunds who are our furry family. One is 18, one is 10 and diabetic and blind, and one is a very hyperactive 5 year old. When we first moved to the area, we scouted animal clinics. We looked at how they treated people, how they treated animals, and whether we'd be comfortable leaving members of our furry family with them if we needed to go somewhere. We looked at how they treated the humans, the animals, the boarding facilities, and the qualifications of the doctors. AMC is the only one who passed the test. We have been with them since 2006. When our oldest dog Henry got bloat, we called them and they told us to rush him to the animal ER. We were scared and didn't know what was going on. Even though it was after hours, Dr. Whitney came to the animal ER and sat with us and explained what was happening. She stayed with us till 11 p.m. and we were sure Henry was out of danger and was going to pull through. That's the level of dedication they have to their clients. Read Less

After numerous attempts to work with them and thousands of dollars we trusted them with our credit card information so when we had to leave town on family emergencies they had payment . We always paid for services rendered. We found ourselves in Dallas and being told our animals were refused boarding as they destroyed our information and didn't feel the need to contact us.
