I have had multiple pets go through this clinic through the years. I am now on my last little pet, Fido, and have had great service with all of my furry friends. The staff is exceptional. Being a new client from out of town, let alone out of the state, can make the experience of meeting a new vet/vet clinic very daunting. Being a vet tech myself the situation was even more stressful for me. The visit could not have gone better, thorough yet gentle exams, great communication with the client about treatment plans, personable and outstanding interaction with my manni. Our experience was an extreme situation that eventually developed into an emergency but i truly see this experience as having a silver lining..i have now found my second family, my vet family. Dr. Artall purchased Acadia Animal Clinic from my brother, Dr. Richard James, who started the Clinic in the 60s. So I've been around this clinic for a very long time. Dr. James made an excellent choice in Jeff Artall, He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable about all new procedures, very organized, and all are very polite. They let me know when my dog and cat are ready for any shots, etc. If a med isn't working, they keep trying till they find one that does. I would recommend Acadia Animal Clinic to anyone who is searching for a good veterinarian in the area. In fact, you would do well to travel a few miles further to see them.Read Less

All of our pets, past and current are brought to Acadia Animal Clinic. I call with any questions and I receive replies right away. Luckily, I have never had to experience any type of surgical or emergency issues but the monthly maintenance care my pets are given is most appreciated. The late hours kept by the doctors and staff on certain days are definitley appreciated when my work schedule doesn't allow me access to the clinic until after 5:30. This is a horribe place to bring your pet. First they almost gave my dog the wrong shot, then when my dog was very nervous and sprayed his gland, the vet got MAD. I thought he was going to hit my dog. I can not stand this man he should not even be in the medical field and doesnt even seem to like animals. the onyl good thing about the place is some of the staff is friendly. Read Less
