Crossroads is by far the most professional, clean and the latest state of the art equipment that will ensure your loved one has the best experience one can receive!! Regarding a recent review..I would like to express my concerns that will possibly help and inform former animal lover and those who wish to visit Crossroads. Doc takes Gods Creatures very serious..no one can feel warm and fuzzy when they hear their loved one has an illness or condition that with regular and routine maintenance could all be prevented..The idea i believe he was trying to sell u on was the condition your dog is in, preventative measures, and if continued without the love your animal deserves..what you and your loved one would face. With his awesome equipment not only could he see probs such as your dogs ear probs you could see it as well on his tv monitor..Perhaps thats why the ear cleaning solution was advised for you to purchase..a 17 dollar investment to last you @ 6months and should have been already being applied as regular maintenance. Doc is not there to treat you..He is there to give and does..all his expertise and experience to your loved one..A tooth surgery was mentioned..More than likely your dog is overweight as he mentioned to you weight management line of dogfood. He would hate to see animal on his surgery table because your previous vets obviously didnt explain and or have the expertise, experience and equipment for you to have these simple corrective measures to you. My initial visit ..five years ago..my loved one was overweight, needed a simple ear cleaning solution and a toothbrush was mentioned! Please make these small investments for ur loved one..as you owe it to them and I promise your future visits not only will you walk out a much happier animal lover ur dog will be in much better health. I purchased a bag of food and 17 dollar ear solution..and to this day we always get great checkups. In the medical field it is Docs responsibility to your animal to address all issues, discuss prev measures, and worse case scenario..He did a great job!!..Im glad he got your attention..as that is what you owe your dog!! I went on wed. Did not get shots discounted. did get a new patient discount cause i downloaded and printed their form and had it done before i got there. I see what one of the reviewers was talking about, less then 5 mins in he was trying to sell me stuff, om dog food, ear cleaner, mouth spray, lean treats, and a 660.00 dollar surgery for removing a tooth and cleaning his teeth. He's not a warm cuddle type vet, he seems to know his stuff, however, I do think he's a bit money hungry. I called back after asking about prices if they took care credit, she said they do, what she didn't tell me is they charge 5 or 6% of the total bill. So no discount for shots on Wed. Not told about a service charge, and I felt like I was talking to a car salesman I didn't even discuss a few things that I wanted to cause i knew he'd just try to sell me something. Overall he and his staff were nice, but not the place for me or my baby boy. Wish them all the best. Also the front office is very very small, I mean small. Had a great visit today with our handsome fella Scout! Dr. White always takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and doesn't make us feel crazy for asking so many questions! As a bonus we always leave with a happy pup! She also made the kids feel like a part of the team by letting them listen to his heart with her stethoscope! I have a vet in my immediate family that practices in Indiana, so I am pretty particular about my vet. Dr. LoBue and his staff do a great job explaining any situations. They offer solutions without jamming unnecessary products in your hands. I consider Crossroads Animal Hospital to be a quality facility. Read Less

Excellent service!!! My whole life that I have had dogs and I have never had such a satisfying experience. The place was super clean the staff extremely nice!! Dr. LoBue is AMAZING and full of knowledge. He gave me information that I never knew about dogs. Plus my little Chico received a lot of yummy snacks that he loved. Highly Recommend! Read Less

Dr. LoBue is a very professional and caring veterinarian. He wants to see your dog as healthy as possible. I've been bringing my dogs to Crossroads for atleast 4 years. On Wednesdays he always discount annual shots which is awesome and a blessing. Anytime my dogs have had any issues he tries his best to work with me on treatments as I can't spend a lot of money, you just have to let him know. I live in North Louisiana and will still drive the ~3hours every year to bring my pets to get there annual shots and check up because I don't want anyone but Dr. LoBue helping my fur babies. To respond to previous reviews, I've never had an issue with smells in his office. He almost always has a rainbow fragrance machine in his lobby to make it smell nice. Read Less

Recently moved from Chicago and was concerned about finding "a great vet service" for our cavalier Charlee. Found Crossroads and met the staff and immediately felt our pup would be in experienced loving hands. First visit and grooming was a wonderful experience for us and Charlee. Dr Tony Lobue is by far one of the best Vets I ve ever dealt with . I ve lived in 4 states ,pets all my life . He is professional , educational, and is quite thorough in explaining all your options . Dr LoBue and staff exceeded my expectations. It was my puppy's first visit today. Dr. LoBue took his time, was thorough, and educated me each step of the way. He genuinely cares, and recommends the best services/products that are needed to give my puppy the best quality of life, therefore extending the quantity of her life. The lobby is not the cleanest, but the staff is very sweet. I did not check any reviews before coming here because I was fooled by their nice, well put together website that made me feel as if they were a very professional business. The nurses were great with my dog and really calmed him down, but the vet, Dr. Lobue, is not my favorite aspect of this place. I think the only favorite I have is that it is close to home, but I would rather drive out of town than bring my pet back here. I brought in my dog for a visit because he needed his shots and I need a good flea/heartworm medicine. I am allergic to fleas, so I was willing to pay what it takes in order to keep them off my dog. Once he found that out, I was nothing but a dollar bill in his eyes. He tried to sell me every pest related product in his office, all of which is three times the price of Wal-Mart or even PetSmart, and that was just my FIRST visit! The second visit he diagnosed my dog with Cryptorchidism (an accurate diagnosis), but then tried to charge me an estimated $900 for the surgery to cure him! I felt as if he was intentionally spitting out medical terminology that I could not understand and making the entire situation a dire emergency even though none of that was necessary. I told him I would go home and think about the surgery and payments and things like that and I would get back to him. I went home and did some research and called multiple other veterinary offices. The results were unsurprising, but still shocking. Every vet office I called was willing to do the procedure and MORE, all for less than $200. He is not gentle with the animals, rude and cocky with their owners, and an overall greedy person who takes advantage of those just looking to make sure their beloved animals are well taken care of. Dr.LoBue is by far the best veterinarian I have ever taken an animal to. He and his staff treat my dog as she was their own. He and his clinic also are awesome with emergency visits and any time I call with a question about my pet I ALWAYS speak directly with him, which is very rare with other offices. Read Less
