Sasha came home today. She should have come home May 4th but she didn't. On May 3rd I dropped her off for a routine surgery to remove stones in her urinary bladder. She was only four years old, two previous surgeries without a problem. Less than two hours after I left her I received a call from the vet informing me of an "unfortunate incident". Sasha had "arrested" before the surgery evan began when she received anesthetic. I was shocked. I have spent some time trying to determine if this happens often but based on what I can find online, to die from receiving anesthetic is rare. I don't really understand what happened and never will but what I do know is Sasha won't come say goodnight ever again. She won't jump up on the counter to try to scam some lunch meat from my wife when she makes a sandwich. She won't walk across my son's back when he would pick her up and put her on his shoulders. What I do know is that Sasha came home today in a marble urn never to be a living part of our family again. I should have asked more questions about what could happen. I knew there was a risk with the surgery but to lose her to anesthetic just doesn't make sense to me. Read Less

These people just told my parents they could save their beloved dog if they had a thousand dollars in hand. They do not. Myou mother is in hysterics . Leaving her baby there to die. Not a very caring place if you ask me. Read Less

I'm reviewing this business even though I now live down south. I'm a bad, bad Yelper cause I failed to check in and review when I used this Vet when I was living in Bossier City.  This place was where I went for check ups, treatment and boarding of my bloodhound!They have 2 vets that are both highly knowledgeable and outstandingly professional!! The vet techs and staff are terrific, friendly and personable!! They truly loved my dog and even if they were full and I needed to board her last minute they would always make room for her....The price for their services were more than reasonable and the staff was always aware of offered rebates on heartworm medications which is a savings to the dog owner. The boarding fees are $18/day for large dogs and less for small dogs.I loved this place and was anxious about finding a vet down south that could even be close to comparable but fortunately I have but I still miss Petcare and the service my dog & I received there. I took my cat to get a check up and because she had been limping. The vet barely gave her a full exam and gave her a depo shot without even checking her out. Due to Dr. Lotts lack of care to my cat, she ended up going into congestive heart failure because her weight and heart were not suited for the shot. Thanks to Dr. Lott my poor cat spent a week fighting for her life until we finally had to put her down.Read Less
