We are so thankful for the care we have received, especially in emergency and urgent situations. Dr Guidry and his staff are always accommodating with schedules, even after hours. Currently, my daughter has an elderly pup, who is seen monthly for allergy injections. We have a pup with arthritis, who receives monthly medication and a pup, who was recently diagnosed with a neuro disease. The quality of care is excellent from a physical exam to the knowledge and care of a more serious nature. I don't know what we would do without them.

Words cannot describe how amazing the staff is at north lake veterinary hospital! I am from out of town and had an emergency with my pup and needed a vet on short notice on Christmas Eve of all days! They fit us in and we saw the dr in less than10 minutes!!! Dr. Guidry is so caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this animal hospital to everyone! Truely exceptional care for your fur babies! Thank y'all so much!!

They will take adequate care of your pets, their staff is competent. However I've found the prices to be outrageous and have had bad experiences wherein staff at this facility wanted to perform unnecessary procedures on my pet that would have cost me at least another $2,000-$3,000.
I once paid $3,000 just to board a dog for three days during which they were supposed to have performed a procedure but didn't. They hadn't done anything, so I took my dog back into my own custody and did her wound care myself. She's fully recovered. FWIW.
If your animal can survive an extra 90 minute drive, there is a 24-hour emergency vet that does extremely good work and charges a fraction of what Northlake Veterinary Hospital would charge in Woolmarket/Biloxi, Mississippi. Literally.'you'll save thousands if you go to the emergency vet in Woolmarket (right off I-10, about 45 miles into MS from the LA state line).

Dr. Guidry (and all the staff) have provided excellent, loving care for our dogs since we moved to the North Shore in 2006. Dr. Guidry is as kind and compassionate with owners as he is with the pets, and he takes whatever time is needed to listen, explain and answer questions clearly and honestly. It's obvious from his interaction with all the animals how much he loves them and is passionate about his profession. He won over my man-hating Poodle in a matter of minutes! One other appreciated aspect of the practice is that they are very considerate to budget; I never worry about being surprised with unexpected charges. The doctors have always, from day one, discussed different treatment level options and costs for my approval before proceeding, and the costs have never been unreasonable or "padded."

I highly recommend Nortlake Veterinary Hospital!
We have been using their services since they opened. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to help you. We have three dogs and two of them are high maintenance. Our first dog, Brittney, doesn't do well in cars, so Dr Guidry and his assistant Lorraine come to our house to meet her needs. Our second dog, Scooby, is allergic to everything. Dr Guidry and Lorraine have helped us tremendously with him. We had allergy testing done on him and now give him a special diet and allergy shots. Our third dog, Pretty Girl, is easy easy! Although she generally gets her shots at home visits with the other two, she loves the car! Usually then we see Dr Rist. She is also amazing. I can't say enough about their clinic. We truly feel as if they are a part of our family and wouldn't go anywhere else! They love our fur babies as much as we do.
Thanks Northlake Get for always going above and beyond! We truly appreciate you guys. :)

They will take adequate care of your pets, their staff is competent. However I've found the prices to be outrageous and have had bad experiences wherein staff at this facility wanted to perform unnecessary procedures on my pet that would have cost me at least another $2,000-$3,000.

They have been taking care of my animals since around 2003, or 2002. I have been very lucky to have such a great place to bring my pets. They have save two of their lives. Could I asked for more?

I highly recommend Nortlake Veterinary Hospital!
We have been using their services since they opened. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to help you. We have three dogs and two of them are high maintenance. Our first dog, Brittney, doesn't do well in cars, so Dr Guidry and his assistant Lorraine come to our house to meet her needs. Our second dog, Scooby, is allergic to everything. Dr Guidry and Lorraine have helped us tremendously with him. We had allergy testing done on him and now give him a special diet and allergy shots. Our third dog, Pretty Girl, is easy easy! Although she generally gets her shots at home visits with the other two, she loves the car! Usually then we see Dr Rist. She is also amazing. I can't say enough about their clinic. We truly feel as if they are a part of our family and wouldn't go anywhere else! They love our fur babies as much as we do.
Thanks Northlake Get for always going above and beyond! We truly appreciate you guys. :)

Unfortunately I had to my baby boy Miles down today, and I felt angel wings wrapped around me during this horrific experience. The hugs and the support were not phony; they were truly heartfelt.
