We took a little stray kitten here on Tuesday 7/28/15. She was very sick with respirator, eye and skin infections. We were given 3 different medicines and told to bring her back in a week and let them have a look at her. We weren't able to get back in excactly a week, and she took a turn for the worse. We took her back on Thursday 8/6/15, two days later than we should have taken her, having called the office to let them know we were on the way. We honestly thought she was dying, her body was so cold and she was having a hard time breathing. We walk in the office and no one is at the reception desk. I call out hello, no response. We can hear people in the back talking about church, pastors, Easter attendance and other things. I called out again and said we have an emergency, still nothing. The conversation in the back continues. I understand that this was a client of theirs and they were making small talk with her, but if the shoe had been on the other foot and this women's dog was in distress she would want someone to come help her. As the conversation continues, I call the office from my cell phone to get someone to come to the front desk, I promise you they let it ring and no one came up. After what felt like 10 min, it was only about 5, I yell out that I have a dying kitten and need help. The younger vet comes up, and as calmly as I can, I tell him that I am a Christianew and church is important, but that we had been standing there calling out trying to get someone's attention while our kitty is dying. WOW, did I hit a nerve with him and he yelled at me to calm down lady and he isn't going to take being yelled at, which I didn't yell, and to come on back. He the tells the older vet " you need to take this one cause I am gonna put my fist though a wall!" I didn't hear this at the time, my daughter did. Our little kitty is still very sick and we were given 3 more meds to give her. The younger vet was so unprofessional and I was completely blown away by his behavior. The older vet, who had seen our kitty before, was very nice but unapologetic about the behavior of the other vet. We have 7 dogs and many cats that will need vet care, but not there. The sad thing is they probably don't care. Oh, and when we first took the kitty in I was very surprised by the bill and was told that we were paying ahead for shots on a kitty that now we are being told might not make it. NiceRead Less
