The Good: The customer service is great - both friendly and efficient. The staff, from vet techs to the vet, are all very people- and animal-friendly. The staff is very professional and courteous and seem to really care about the animals and the pet owners. The office is very flexible in scheduling appointments and with any rescheduling that might be necessary. I've never had to wait too long to get in with my pet and they run pretty close to on schedule as well during appointments. They also offer a variety of pet foods for purchase and free doggie pick-up bags to anyone. The Bad: They are pricey compared to other vets and parking can be a bear. The Ugly: I had an experience where my cat exhibited some symptoms that for a cat her age and health to that point likely meant she was hypothyroid. However, the vet instead suggested several worst case scenarios (e.g. cancer, organ failure) and ordered about $500 worth of tests, rather than first testing for the most likely, far less scary (not to mention less expensive) scenario first. They also kept her at the vet office rather than let her come home with me because they "may have to start treatment immediately." It turned out to be hypothyroid, which is thankfully very easily treated. However I was still out a lot of money, not to mention the stress of thinking about cancer and other far less easily treated options. Unfortunately, after this occurred I learned from two other nearby pet owners they had similar experiences (vet ordered expensive tests and hypothesized about dire diagnoses for what turned out to be common, easily treated and diagnosed issues). So, be a little skeptical and ask a lot of questions before agreeing to the suggested tests, etc.Edited to add: Unfortunately, my sweet cat passed away recently. She passed away at home, so I had to call to ask about what arrangements I should make for her body. They were very kind in helping me to figure out what to do. The next day, I received an extremely lovely green plant in sympathy from the staff and Dr. Scott, expressing their condolences for her passing. It was wholly unexpected and a really thoughtful gesture. I appreciated it very much. Read Less
