Truly dislike this vet clinic. Been there many times but my family and I have finally stopped going. Always walked away thinking they were rude. Will never go back. Sitting with a very sick cat for two hours, feeling totally ignored was the last straw. We were never seen, and the cat died. bravo. Read Less

I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff at Acadia Medical Center. From both Dr.s Rumore and Dr Batt, they are always patient and nothing is ever a silly qyestion. In fact, every time we go in and happen to get the Sr. Dr Rumore, he always has an interesting factoid story for us. The girls are all so helpful always too! Did a great job with Zoie's spay and teeth cleaning.. But got surgical glue (or something similar) all over her coat. Spots of her fur on back and sides dried hard like her cement and stuck to her skin. Since we are unable to bathe her for 2 weeks due to surgery, we tried to comb it out with no luck. In turn, she was biting and trying to tear the reachable glue spots out because they were irritating her skin. We ended up having to cut parts of her fur out so she she wouldn't hurt her herself or cause and skin lacerations. Read Less

I have worked for most vets in our area as an ER vet tech. I know and have worked for many vets. I have brought my daughters pets and a few rescues to Dr. Rumore. I always have been impressed by his good ole caring vets you rarely hear of anymore. The addition of his son and Dr. David Batt is a great asset, with the same values. to ummm- I dont know why you want to put this place down so much. I have been going there for years now. I also had a dog put down, and Dr. Ramore was so good to us. He let me stay with her till the end and offered to dispose of her himself. Never would I imagine him doing such a thing as you say, especially with a trash bag. Come on, these are professionals. I now have another dog and we are going back to see Dr. Ramore. If he was as bad as you say---- Maybe you just had a bad day? Give these people a break. If you are nice to them, they will be nice to you. They have never been rude or mean to me or my dogs. LOVE them and would reccommed them to anyone. Read Less

i dont see why the reviews about this place are so good. the staff is very rude even on the phone. they put my dog to sleep, didnt show any compassion are anything period. they didnt even ask me if i want to say goodbye are anything ur suppose to ask the client. they then told me i had to dispose of it and gave him to mein a trash bag and told me how much i owe! while i was outside crying my eyes out! Service is reasonably priced and most follow up visits are free. Diagnosis is always on the tee and so are the treatments. The long waiting time is worth it. Hey, there has to be some kind of drawback. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone. Read Less
