I was really remiss in not having reviewed this clinic before now; when I moved down here a year and a half ago, I was at a loss for finding a vet. None were reviewed here! Yelp is pretty barren in Shreveport overall, but places like this can be a bit more important than a new sushi joint, so I feel like I *have* to give props here.I heard about the place through my boyfriend's co-worker, and within a week, I had to make a semi-emergency trip when my dog's poor tooth became infected and her muzzle swelled to the size of a watermelon. I met Dr. Lloyd first, who was great and patient with my neurotic, terrified mutt. We've been back a few times, for shots, and a spay, and have seen both he and his partner, Dr. Bell. She's also got a great bedside manner. The actual clinic reminds me a lot of the vet my family took my dog to as a kid; it's one of those places that's essentially a house, with homey wallpaper and wood paneling. The ladies up at the desk have always been cheerful and helpful, offering great advice at different times. I've boarded my dog there as well, and I'd feel totally comfortable doing it again, though they seem to fill up fast, especially for holidays. I've had my dog 8 years and had vets in 3 different states, and these are honestly the best, most competent I've found. Read Less
