In 1985, Dr. Robert Henderson opened Pine Ridge Veterinary Center to offer quality animal care to the small rural community of Stonewall that was beginning to grow at such a rapid rate. While there have been many faces over the last 32 years, the standard of care expectations have not changed.
Dr. Neil Henderson joined his father at Pine Ridge Veterinary Center in 1995. Together, they rebuilt the small animal practice in 1997. Dr. Robert Henderson has since retired but keeps close contact with his Pine Ridge family. Dr. Henderson has continuously been updating and adding new equipment since his purchase of the practice in 2009, including lab equipment, digital radiography and other state of the art enhancements. In 2013, Dr Henderson is most pleased with PRVC’s newest service for our ever growing client list of a “complete” boarding facility that includes regular, deluxe and luxury boarding and a fun play yard for your boarding community.

I went here to get my dogs’ teeth cleaned. It was less than half the price as every vet I could find in Shreveport/Bossier. Also, they include everything except for extractions (only like $25) in the base price so you don’t get surprised by some huge charge. They took great care of my babies. Well worth the drive.

I went here to get my dogs’ teeth cleaned. It was less than half the price as every vet I could find in Shreveport/Bossier. Also, they include everything except for extractions (only like $25) in the base price so you don’t get surprised by some huge charge. They took great care of my babies. Well worth the drive.

A clean veterinary facility with boarding. They have a large play area for dogs and will take cats as well. Staff was friendly and the vet is great. They can get busy so call ahead!

I have used Pine Ridge Vet Clinic for over 10 years. They have always treated my "babies" with excellent care. They have been very caring and accommodating. Not only do I use them for medical care, I also use their top of the line boarding facility. The people employed there are very loving and caring towards my "babies". Their facility is very clean and ran very professionally. I have been in several clinics in the area and this one is by far the cleanest and most professional I have found.

They will not give you information about the charges up front, then slap you with high charges after the fact and you are forced to pay them. They told me they were doing full blood work on my dogs to get them re-established after we moved back from TN and charged us over $600 when all they did was a heart worm test. I lost one of my dogs because if they had done complete blood work as we were told they were doing they would have caught her kidney issues in time for us to adjust her diet and save her. All they said was sorry but that Vet is no longer with us. Then the current Vet, Dr. J, told us there would be no charge for a followup urine test and then placed a charge on our account and didn't tell us until several months later when we came in for something else and then we were expected to pay it. In my opinion, they care more about the money than the welfare of your pet. I will never take my dogs there again!

Pine Ridge staff is very caring and understanding about your pets needs. They are very compassionate about the pet owners as well. I had an emergancy injury with my kitten, Spooky and took him in. He was seen right away, unfortunitley they couldn't save him due to his severe injuries. They gave us some time to say good bye and they even sent a sympathy card. We never have to wait long in the waiting room either. Thank you both Dr Hendersons for keeping my animals healthy. It would be nice though if there was more of a discount for multiple pet households.

I have used Pine Ridge Vet Clinic for over 10 years. They have always treated my "babies" with excellent care. They have been very caring and accommodating. Not only do I use them for medical care, I also use their top of the line boarding facility. The people employed there are very loving and caring towards my "babies". Their facility is very clean and ran very professionally. I have been in several clinics in the area and this one is by far the cleanest and most professional I have found.

They will not give you information about the charges up front, then slap you with high charges after the fact and you are forced to pay them. They told me they were doing full blood work on my dogs to get them re-established after we moved back from TN and charged us over $600 when all they did was a heart worm test. I lost one of my dogs because if they had done complete blood work as we were told they were doing they would have caught her kidney issues in time for us to adjust her diet and save her. All they said was sorry but that Vet is no longer with us. Then the current Vet, Dr. J, told us there would be no charge for a followup urine test and then placed a charge on our account and didn't tell us until several months later when we came in for something else and then we were expected to pay it. In my opinion, they care more about the money than the welfare of your pet. I will never take my dogs there again!

Pine Ridge staff is very caring and understanding about your pets needs. They are very compassionate about the pet owners as well. I had an emergancy injury with my kitten, Spooky and took him in.
