Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic

Aberdeen, Maryland
General Info
Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic in Aberdeen provides compassionate and knowledgeable care to pets in the region. Their services include and Acupuncture. The deeply caring team seeks to promote wellness, achieve optimal management of chronic medical issues and assist families with any urgent concerns. Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic offers its services across Aberdeen, Maryland, and uses human-animal interaction as a key medical approach. The allocated time frame enables both species to acclimate before embarking on the decision-making process. The placement of objects in the room enhances the effect of stillness. The format of the chairs, which prevents students from becoming too close to each other and thus ensures minimal stress, is also highly significant. Exam tables adjust their structure to allow visual access while remaining complex. Prior to testing or interaction, staff members observe the caregiver’s breathing patterns and the way they talk and look because pets always study their owners. Silence is applied deliberately. The best initial approach in care would be to delay constancies so that the dog or cat can reflect decelerated rhythms before intervention. Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic provides integrative health care by means of organ diagnostics, pain threshold tests, allergy detection, hydration status exams, and energy-based wellness evaluations when necessary. Visit timing is part of the plan—morning pets often tolerate more stimulus; late-day animals need quiet observation first. Tone variation is important: lower-pitched voice interactions assist dogs with anxiety, and a narrower frequency spectrum prevents startled reactions in cats. After the visits, the owners are advised on pet care (tone and rhythm: speak gently, step aside, hold in sunlight or let rest in enclosed darkness). The patterns enable the body and emotions to return to the primary level. Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic interlaces the neural networks of pets and their owners to provide humane care that respects clinical veterinary tenets and makes sense to the affected families in Aberdeen, MD and beyond.

We went there because our dog couldn't walk on his leg. Our vet didn't have any openings. A friend told us about this office so we called and got an appt next day. We were so pleased and appreciative we will be bringing all 4 of our dogs there as patients. Our dog ended up having lyme disease. He was given meds and here we are 24 hours later and he is walking on his leg and even jumped up on our bed and couch. We couldn't be more grateful for their ability to fit us in and for the pleasantness of their staff. The Dr was great. She was with us the whole time. Word-of-mouth is the best referral and we will be sharing our experience with all of our friends. Thank you for making our baby feel better. Read Less

It's kind of a run down looking clinic but the vet was nice and the staff was helpful.  We took our dog here on a Saturday after she was having some stomach issues.  The APG vet clinic is not open on the weekends, so were glad they could squeeze us in on short notice without having to pay the ER visit fee for the pet hospital in Bel Air.  We ended up paying over $200 or so for an x-ray and then getting some other medications.  All in all, a positive experience. I can not say enough good things about this office. I've seen Dr. Fritz multiple times with a few different pets and have always felt comfortable with her. I've also seen the new Dr (I'm a butthead and can't remember her name), and she was just as nice. Both doctors ask a TON of questions, and everyone is incredibly knowledgeable, from the vets to the rest of the staff. I go there regularly with our extra-large dog to get his claws trimmed and the techs are always able hold him and trim his claws without hurting him. Even our first experience there was wonderful. A stray cat appeared on our porch and I brought her in to have them scan her for a chip. She didn't have one, but they were so nice there that when we decided to keep her, there was no question as to where we would go. Read Less
