Written on Sept 26, 2016: My wife and I are relieved and delighted to have our dog Dixie back with us, thanks to Dr. Walesby. Dixie - a "Dorky" (Yorkshire/Dachshund mix) -- was seven years old when she developed a walnut sized mast cell cancer on her left rear leg. It was so big that our usual vet gave us the dire prognosis of amputation or even death. It was a horrible shock. Our vet recommended Dr. Walesby and we're glad he did! Her staff and office personnel were very friendly and professional. The doctor herself explained all the medical details, suggested treatment, surgical procedure and probable outcome. The surgery - though serious - was performed one day and we got Dixie back the next. We were astonished! You could certainly see where that awful tumor had been removed (14 stitches!) but Dixie herself was conscious, alert, happy, even perky. As it turned out, all of the cancer had been caught in time and removed. That was about a month ago - now Dixie is the same as before, playing, eating, napping, snacking or watching for intruders. We recommend Dr. Walesby 100%, absolutely! Dixie doesn't even limp, though before the surgery we expected to have a three legged dog instead of our delightful dorky.
