I've been a customer of Essex Middle River Veterinary Center for many years. My parents were also customers of EMRVC with our childhood pet. They have shown nothing but the utmost care and concern for our pets and have always been reasonable with regard to cost. Dr. Beizavi is a wonderful veterinarian who is caring, kind, and patient. He's always willing to answer my million questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this place for anyone's pet. If I were to have any criticism, it would be that the wait to be seen and then the wait to check out can be long (greater than 15 minutes). I do understand that the medical world is unpredictable and emergency situations do change the wait time. I also understand that after every appointment the vet needs to write up the meeting notes, which can take a little while. I would only suggest to EMRVC to provide their vets with some sort of tablet, so they can write their notes as they are meeting with the client to speed up the checkout process.

I visited this wonderful place with my Grandmother for her cat. My grandma is a very fragile woman and her cat has anxiety, and they treated her cat with exceptional treatment. These people truly go out of their way for her cat. They are also very accommodating when it comes to last minute visits. Keep the customer service up!!!

I took my two labs in for an annual checkup, shots, fecal test, and paste in one labs yeasty ears. And a nail trim for both. We got 7 months of anti-flea med and 1 year of heart worm. It was $1500 ...
I took my two labs in for an annual checkup, shots, fecal test, and paste in one labs yeasty ears. And a nail trim for both. We got 7 months of anti-flea med and 1 year of heart worm. It was $1500 and we were there for 2 hours. The vet is great. However, they need to work on their checkout procedures. It took 20 minutes after the dogs were released to pay our bill. That needs speed up.

Took our fur baby into this vet when I came home to him looking sick. When I got there the staff was super friendly and accommodating. After an hour, they told me my fur baby had to be taken to a 24 hour emergency facility. To my surprise I was slapped with a almost $800 bill for a whole lot of nothing. Blood tests, an hour of iv, X-ray and I'm forking over a mortgage payment. Took our pet to an emergency center where he spent 5 days with around the clock care including meds and testing throughout the day among a 4 page list of other things done and the final bill was only $1200. So in 1 hour I spent $800 at this vet and 5 whole days was $1200 at the emergency vet hospital. Hmmm... something's not adding up. Certainly feel taken advantage of at my most vulnerable state of worrying about my pet. Nice building, nice staff but completely taken advantage of. Won't return.

Died 12 hrs after her seeing her from congestive heart failure and couldn't breathe..peeing all over herself....bleeding from nose and mouth..choking on her blood. She was not my dr. I did like Dr. Hicks but unfortunately when there is an emergency appointment and your dr. is not there..you might get her. beware!! man who owns clinic said he felt she did her best..she did not ..I asked her to check her heart ..she did not.

The staff and Drs are absolutely wonderful. My fur baby has cancer and is very sick. They treat us wonderful and showed compassion towards my baby. I would highly recommend this vet.

Instead of bringing him in, they took the time over the phone to give information about seizures and explain what to do if this happens again. Today, he decided to eat two small pieces of garlic and they were right there to explain what we should do. You all are always so compassionate. Couldn't ask for a better vet!

I brought my dog there in Octover 2015 for diarrhea and vomiting. A blood test was done and I was told that everything was normal. Well, I just found dead out from another, much better Vet. Hospital that there was a problem with her white blood cells, they were very high then. It is now August and her liver has gotten worse from the x-ray taken. That means my precious dog has liver problems, untreated for 9 months. Thank you very much. I will be adding to this tomorrow after I find out how bad she is from the blood test just taken. They will hear from me then. Totally unacceptable!

We have been bringing our dogs to EMRVC for over 30 years, when they were located down by the bridge!! Absolutely love the staff and the doctors. From birth to death they take care of your pet, take time with them and treat them as their own. Shout out to Dr. Hicks who has been wonderful with our beagles Luke and Leia, especially on their weight loss journey!! Would not go anywhere else!!

Two vets performed surgery on my kitty and saved his life. So as you could guess I'm a big fan of their work. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

He's 9 and has some health issues and on meds. Sometimes it can get quite bad. I'm so thankful for them there ..the staff are always Very friendly and kind. And Dr Cross is very good with my little guy who can get kinda temperamental .. The prices are reasonable and the wait isn't long and what I love is it SMELLS CLEAN... :-) :-)

I was referred to EMRVC by a friend who takes her dogs there. She had nothing but good things to say about them. The staff is extremely friendly, the prices are reasonable and the care is exceptional. We saw Dr. Cross for the first visit and we will be requesting him for all future appointments for our basset hound. He was very knowledgeable and really put my mind at ease on some of my concerns. He took the time to answer all of our questions and was very patient with us. The staff fell in love with my little love bug and treated her so great, as if she were my child! I really loved it there and will be back for all of my animals needs. Definitely will refer them to all my family and friends!

I cannot recommend this veterinary team enough! After several disappointing experiences at another veterinarian, I chose this vet for my aging Rottweiler. Dr. Zulty and Dr. Hicks were caring and competent, and when the time came, they made the experience as painless as possible. When my fiance and I adopted our German Shepherd pup, we met Dr. Preston, whose patience and positivity make every visit a pleasure, even if the pup is being a bit crazy. They provide high quality care, and while the costs are not budget, I do believe their care is priced fairly and that they are THE vet to use in the Baltimore area!

I have been going to Essex Middle River Veterinary Center for many years. The service is excellent and the staff is always kind, understanding and professional. I have seen many doctors and all have been extremely knowledgable and concerned for my Maggie May. Recently we saw Dr. Preston for a Senior Checkup and she was very nice and thorough when evaluating Maggie for a routine exam. The customer service at this facility is outstanding. They ALWAYS call me within 24 hours of my visit to give me the lab results (Maggie is on some medicine that requires routine bloodwork). I cannot say enough good things about this facility and staff. If you love your pet, and really care about them, this is the place to get the best care, and service!

Dr. Beizavi has taken care of both of my cats during our time in Essex. He seems to really love the animals he cares for. The office and exam rooms are always clean. The waiting area is large enough for animals to pass without getting too close. The staff is very accommodating. When I had to bring my female in to be spayed, the woman at the desk let me in way earlier than usual, since I was on my way to work. Dr. Beizavi personally called to check up on my cats after they were fixed.

I highly recommend taking your pet to Essex Middle River Veterinary Center. Our vet tech and Dr. Beizavi provided thorough and compassionate care for our beloved cat. Dr. Beizavi is professional, kind and empathetic. He truly cares about the comfort and well being of your pet. He takes great care handling your pet. He is thorough in investigating, and accurate concerning what could be causes of any illness as well as all options for treatments that are available. He verbally explains in detail what you can do at home and includes that information and a summary of the visit printed out on your bill to take with you. Dr. Beizavi is a proficient and gentle doctor. The care that was provided to our pet was excellent.

Hospital that there was a problem with her white blood cells, they were very high then. It is now August and her liver has gotten worse from the x-ray taken. That means my precious dog has liver problems, untreated for 9 months. Thank you very much. I will be adding to this tomorrow after I find out how bad she is from the blood test just taken. We saw Dr. Cross for the first visit and we will be requesting him for all future appointments for our basset hound. He was very knowledgeable and really put my mind at ease on some of my concerns. I have seen many doctors and all have been extremely knowledgable and concerned for my Maggie May. Recently we saw Dr. Preston for a Senior Checkup and she was very nice and thorough when evaluating Maggie for a routine exam. The customer service at this facility is outstanding. They ALWAYS call me within 24 hours of my visit to give me the lab results (Maggie is on some medicine that requires routine bloodwork). I cannot say enough good things about this facility and staff. If you love your pet, and really care about them, this is the place to get the best care, and service!

Dr. Beizavi has taken care of both of my cats during our time in Essex. He seems to really love the animals he cares for. The office and exam rooms are always clean. The waiting area is large enough for animals to pass without getting too close. The staff is very accommodating. When I had to bring my female in to be spayed, the woman at the desk let me in way earlier than usual, since I was on my way to work. Dr. Beizavi personally called to check up on my cats after they were fixed.

I highly recommend taking your pet to Essex Middle River Veterinary Center. Our vet tech and Dr. Beizavi provided thorough and compassionate care for our beloved cat. Dr. Beizavi is professional, kind and empathetic. He truly cares about the comfort and well being of your pet. He takes great care handling your pet. He is thorough in investigating, and accurate concerning what could be causes of any illness as well as all options for treatments that are available. He verbally explains in detail what you can do at home and includes that information and a summary of the visit printed out on your bill to take with you. Dr. Beizavi is a proficient and gentle doctor. The care that was provided to our pet was excellent.
