Dr. Jeffers and his staff are all very informed and passionate about their work and it shows -- I highly recommend going here if you are serious about treating your pet's allergies. We tried a few other ways of dealing with our dogs allergies (blog tests, intense cleaning, steroids, etc.) but none of them worked well and everyone suffered because of it... it's now been two weeks since our visit to AADC, things are MUCH better and will only improve over the next few months. I had avoided going to a dog specialist for obvious reasons, all of which turned out to be untrue. I would have saved lots of money going to Dr Jeffers sooner...repeated visits to our regular vet never solved our dog's skin problem and the meds and appointments added up. My dog suffered from allergies for a long time but Dr Jeffers was able to easily diagnose the problem, explained everything and developed a plan of care that included the allergy testing and allergy shots, meds for her to take until the allergy shots started working, etc. all during in the first visit. Dr Jeffers and his staff are excellent! They were very helpful and I didn't feel rushed at all, although I know their office was busy when we were there. My cat suddenly developed a terrible skin disease on her face/ears/feet. I took her to three different VETS and there was the usual battery of tests and hundreds of dollars in drugs. The best of the three VETS recommended Dr. Jeffers because she was stumped. I was in his office five minutes, he told me what the problem was, did a test in house that proved what it was, and sent me on my way with drugs that he said would make her better in a week or so. Considering she had been suffering for two months. It was a big deal for me. He is also very nice and took time to explain to me the history of the disease and what to expect. To top it off, it was the cheapest of all the vet bills that I had paid to date and I was not boosted on the drug price like the other places (6x the internet price).
