After finding a new vet, I am kicking myself for not finding a new vet earlier. I kept trying to give the vet one more chance, one more chance and I don't know a single visit where I was satisfied. First off, the vet tried to upend my carrier and shake my cat out of it. My cat who already hates the vet. My cat had several medical issues, which I was not briefed on before I got her from them, despite the fact that she'd had them prior to me adopting. Both times I had to have her stay over night with them, she was miserable, the area where she was kept was incredibly loud, the IV/wrapping she had made her foot swell painfully and more. To top it all off, every single medical issue I brought her in for (3-4 times in less than a year), he had no idea what was wrong with her. Which meant I had to pay for tons of tests, some of which she didn't need, and he would have known that if he'd run them in sequence (also, I noticed I get charged for more things when my husband goes in, as he knows nothing about vet stuff and I do). Heck, I was the one who figured out what her stomach issue was. To top it all off, I asked to take my cat home after many days of 'oh we're waiting for xyz' and he gave me false information. First off, he didn't run her test until it was so late in the day I couldn't get a second opinion from anywhere else. Second, he told me if I took her home and she had x issue, she would die, which sounded weird to me (as I used to do vet tech stuff), but hey, he's the vet. Took my concerns to my friend who is a vet and she told me (even looked it up in the manual thing) that he was full of it, that she would have been fine and she didn't know where he'd gotten that information from. So me being coerced into her staying another night (after which I refused to let her stay anymore, because he still had no idea what was going on) cost me a ton. Over $2000 and no answers. I'd understand, it's not always easy to figure things out with cats, but since I had never gotten a real diagnoses out of him, I was ticked at the cost and how miserable she was. I didn't give it a 1 star, because he was available nearly 24/7. And he would occasionally not charge for running something again. I felt too guilty to leave since we got her there, but I just couldn't stay. There was one really nice female vet tech. I liked her. Read Less
