Please don't use Animal hospital Dr. Naren K and his staff are just a rip off.We have been going to this place for many years and know Dr. Naren K well.Now all my years dealing with him he changes what he tells you all the time.My experience we took our dog to Prince George Animal hospital for an exam, shots and boarding.We were given a quote prior to bringing our dog there.We called to check on our pet like the responsible dog owner does.We spoke to Dr.K over the phone and recorded our conversation while we were out of town because he doesn't remember what he told you.He stated our dog has some loose teeth which needs to be extracted as well as teeth infection.When we returned from our trip we called the reception to see if the quote that they quoted us before we left was the same amount.Once again the price changed.We drove to their location to pick up our dogs and guess what?You guessed it, the price changed again so we asked for Dr.Naren K to call us.We paid the amount without any issue.Dr.K finally called so we can discuss the surgery for my dog.I asked him how many of my dogs teeth need to be extracted and how many are infected?He said he doesn't know until he is under anesthesia.He said maybe none.I said you did the exam right now so you should know.You have our dog record and chart in front of you.I stated you the doctor should know, I am not going to let you put my dog under anesthesia for a just in case scenario.Dr. Naren K said "I don't care about what you think".I paused for a minute I am just asking a question that any responsible pet owner would ask.He yelled out I don't want your dog to come back here.I was very polite I told him that it's very rude I am just trying to see what my dog needs.He just hung up on the phone.What type of doctor gets upset when you are concerned about your pet.I am telling you the positive reviews on here are not being honest.Trust the 1-star reviews. If you love your pet I suggest you take them to another animal hospital. The funniest part to me is that Dr. Naren K had the nerve to say he was an honest person Lol..and that I was rude. First of all any person that have to say they are honest normally not. In what way was I being rude? By asking a question about my dog health or not allowing Dr. Naren K to perform surgery on my dog for a just in case scenario? All I can say is wow. I guarantee he suggests a teeth cleaning for over $700.00. They have so many complaints they will not let anybody in the building during your pet exam, check ups, etc..

Yesterday was my first time coming to this clinic. The staff is wonderful and the doctor that took care of my puppy was wonderful. I do recommend this place to everyone that really love their pets and that want a doctor to listen when you are worry about your pets. I’m really happy I will stay with them and I will not return to the other place I used to go too.

I took my dog to the doctor as an emergency because my doctor was not available until Tuesday. Things happens for a reason. I loved the welcoming environment, and the options given to me to treat my dog's ear infection. My current vet is far from my house but also very good, and when I was getting ready to leave, I noticed the office had patients and everyone was being greeted with courtesy. The staff had connections with each dog, which for me, was a great indication of people that care for the well-being of the animals. I am definitely recommending them and switching to a closer location to the Hyattsville area!!

I initially was a little taken aback when Simon's (my cat) regular vet did not complete the Sr wellness exam, but I was able to adjust and my experience was very informative and pleasant. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars was the cost of services. If I lived with limited financial resources, I would not have ben able to get the labs done necessary to determine that Simon is in the early stages of kidney disease. My cat's health is important to me, however, the rising costs of pet care make continued vet visits limited. Vet cost may be passed onto the consumer, and not directly a result of a vet raising their fees. However, I think vets, in my opinion, need to be sensitive to the costs that owners invest in keeping their pets healthy.

Good advice but very expensive! Brought kitty in for diagnosis, which was very helpful. Dr. Narendar recommended surgery, but I demurred for the time being. (Cat recovered just fine without the extremely expensive and dangerous surgery, thankfully.) Cost of two simple blood tests were exorbitant, quite a mark-up! I had to pay $420 for just the diagnosis, two antibiotics, and the blood tests. No multi-pet discounts available here either.
Front desk clerk very somber and unfriendly; never smiled once in either visit during waits totaling 30 minutes. Other techs were more friendly. Doctor has a good bedside manner!
UPDATE: Brought kitty in for shots, again quite costly. I asked for cost of having teeth cleaned, received quote for $810 !!!! I went home and bought a cat toothbrush and cat toothpaste instead for $25. All fine. Where are they getting these exorbitant prices???

David and I (Vicki Cobb) have used this place since we got Cole 4 years ago. Now we have Gracie, making a total of 2 Scottie’s. Dr K has ALWAYS been gracious, good with our animals, knowledge, and affordable. Now, Dr K.Jr . Is here! We saw him for the first time 2 days ago! Wow! Super thorough . Shared a lot of educational info, and both dogs loved him. Carmen, their assistant.....I cannot say enough about. She’s quiet yet loving. Since Cole was a baby, she’s held him for the doctors, whispering soft Spanish (and English ) in his big ears. He LOVES her!!! Now, Gracie has fallen in love. The place is ALWAYS super clean and now it’s gotten a new modern look! I wouldn’t advise anyone going anywhere else for pet care!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Awesome doctors, awesome staff, awesome service. Knowledgeable, caring, organized. 5 stars all the way! This hospital has taken care of my dog since I got him seven years ago. I think my dog is more active and healthy now than he was when I got him. One thing I love about Dr. K and his staff is that they emphasize the importance of accountability. They know they are great at what they do, but you as a pet owner have to do the little things right in between visits. It's not just about emergency care, but it's also about preventive care. If you have a pet, bring your pet here for care. You will NOT regret it.

We have had our Yorkie pup there a few times to get treated for UTI's and they truly care for her Health and give us necessary treatments which are reasonably priced. While it doesn't boast a fancy exterior etc, the Doctor, nurses, receptionists are all exceptional. This place is truly a hidden gem.

Prince Georges Animal Hospital is the most incredible place, with the best staff and Dr. K is absolutely amazing. The entire staff makes you feel so welcome and comfortable, my experience was taking the family cat who was very ill, Dr. K. made a suggestion to take her home and let her spend her remaining days with our family. When she passed I was a total wreck and immediately called the clinic he heard how upset I was and called me right back he told me to bring her in the next morning and he would take care of her for our family and knowing that the hospital family was there for us made our loss easier to bear.
I refer everyone I know who has a family member (pet) to take their beloved pets to
Dr. K and know that they will receive so much love and expert medical care that they will never want to go any where else...

My parents went to Dr. Khianey starting in the 90's and I still go today with my pets. His bedside manner is excellent, including the treatment of both the pets and us owners!
My family has had (as best as I can remember) 7 cats and 4 dogs in the past 30 years- we continue to trust Prince George's Animal Hospital for the care of each. I actually drive from Towson, MD to see them because I trust them that much.
I cannot say enough good things about Prince George's Animal Hospital and the amount of care we've received here.

Yesterday was my first time coming to this clinic. The staff is wonderful and the doctor that took care of my puppy was wonderful. I do recommend this place to everyone that really love their pets and that want a doctor to listen when you are worry about your pets. David and I (Vicki Cobb) have used this place since we got Cole 4 years ago. Now we have Gracie, making a total of 2 Scottie’s. Dr K has ALWAYS been gracious, good with our animals, knowledge, and affordable. Now, Dr K.Jr . Is here! We saw him for the first time 2 days ago! Wow! Super thorough . Shared a lot of educational info, and both dogs loved him. Carmen, their assistant.....I cannot say enough about. She’s quiet yet loving. Since Cole was a baby, she’s held him for the doctors, whispering soft Spanish (and English ) in his big ears. He LOVES her!!! Now, Gracie has fallen in love. The place is ALWAYS super clean and now it’s gotten a new modern look! I wouldn’t advise anyone going anywhere else for pet care!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Awesome doctors, awesome staff, awesome service. Knowledgeable, caring, organized. 5 stars all the way! This hospital has taken care of my dog since I got him seven years ago. I think my dog is more active and healthy now than he was when I got him. One thing I love about Dr. K and his staff is that they emphasize the importance of accountability. They know they are great at what they do, but you as a pet owner have to do the little things right in between visits. It's not just about emergency care, but it's also about preventive care. If you have a pet, bring your pet here for care. You will NOT regret it.

We absolutely love this Vets office. They truly care about the animals they treat and explain everything thoroughly so we ( the Owners) understand. We have had our Yorkie pup there a few times to get treated for UTI's and they truly care for her Health and give us necessary treatments which are reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this Vets office. Everyone is so friendly and caring.

Took our new adopt here because they offered a complimentary exam from the shelter. Have been going to Banfield in Bowie for about 7 years now (three different dogs) and this place far surpassed. While it doesn't boast a fancy exterior etc, the Doctor, nurses, receptionists are all exceptional. This place is truly a hidden gem.

They are a friendly n caring staff. They took extremely great care of my cat. I would recommend them to anyone. When the animal shelter wanted to put my cat to sleep the Doctor at the animal hospital saved my cats life and now my mind is at ease. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

His staff is also wonderful! They care about their patients and their customers. We love the entire staff and I would trust them with the keys to my house!

Prince Georges Animal Hospital is the most incredible place, with the best staff and Dr. K is absolutely amazing. The entire staff makes you feel so welcome and comfortable, my experience was taking the family cat who was very ill, Dr. K. made a suggestion to take her home and let her spend her remaining days with our family. When she passed I was a total wreck and immediately called the clinic he heard how upset I was and called me right back he told me to bring her in the next morning and he would take care of her for our family and knowing that the hospital family was there for us made our loss easier to bear.
I refer everyone I know who has a family member (pet) to take their beloved pets to
Dr. K and know that they will receive so much love and expert medical care that they will never want to go any where else...

I went to the Animal hospital the other day to pick up some meds for My Jakk. Dr. Khianey exhited the exam room with a lady who looked distraught. I know what has just happened. I was compelled to hug the lady and offer a word of sympathy to the lady and Dr. Khianey as well. He has so much empathy and compassion for people and animals. My parents went to Dr. Khianey starting in the 90's and I still go today with my pets. His bedside manner is excellent, including the treatment of both the pets and us owners!
My family has had (as best as I can remember) 7 cats and 4 dogs in the past 30 years- we continue to trust Prince George's Animal Hospital for the care of each. I actually drive from Towson, MD to see them because I trust them that much.
I cannot say enough good things about Prince George's Animal Hospital and the amount of care we've received here.
