We have taken 2 of our dogs there...our most recent dog Thor is a Rottweiler and he's been going there for about 18 months...and they always took wonderful care of him...I have never questioned a bill...
We have taken 2 of our dogs there...our most recent dog Thor is a Rottweiler and he's been going there for about 18 months...and they always took wonderful care of him...I have never questioned a bill until today when they charged us 76.00 for ear drops and I found the same medication from the same distributor online for $30.00 less I contacted Robin at the office and I told her that I wanted to bring the medication back, it has not been opened as my husband just brought it to me with the bill and I was going to order it online for $30 cheaper and she told me that they don't take medication back once it leaves the office even though she clearly knows that we did not use the product... so I explained to her that I was upset that we were being charged $30 more for a product that they get bulk so they're not paying the full price of $45 that we would have paid if we bought it from the distributor yet they're still charging us a $30 upcharge fee. She said that they are not in control of it that's it's up to the corporate office so I asked her for that number and she said that she was not allowed to give it to me I tried looking for it online and realized that there is no corporate office, so just knowing that they were ripping us off and then lied to me about being a corporate office has made me decide to take Thor to a different vet altogether. It makes me question every bill that we have and how much over we paid each time that we took him there... I understand that we are going to pay more than what they pay for the product but that is a huge upgrade and that's just on medication so that's the reason for the 3 star review...

Great facility. The staff was phenomenal, from the time I Walked in,(Robin) the receptionist was very pleasant;She told me that she had a Shorkie, as well, and that they are good dogs. The health technician was very informative and knowledgeable about the well being of Astro. He made Astro really comfortable. Dr. Hogue is the absolute best, he made our first time rememberable. From the way he interacted with Astro and took the time to educate me on some signs to look out for Incase we had a sick dog. (My first time being a pet owner) This will be Astro one stop shop for all his health care needs. They even allowed me to take a picture of our first visit.

I would have to say that this animal hospital is one of the best that I’ve ever been to. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hogue who has such a kind, caring, and compassionate personality. I know that she sees many animals on a daily basis, but she made me feel that me and my Doberman were number one priority. The front desk staff is very professional and warm. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants top notch care.

This place is wonderful! They gave me a discount for being new and gave me a detailed list of what I could do for my pet and the vets and assistants are very friendly. It's kind of hidden but you'd still be able to notice the sign which is a disappointment because I believe this place should be more well known. They were so professional and courteous and that just made me feel better about bringing my pets and future pets here when I need a vet.

Absolutely adore Dr Hogue and her assistant! Everyone here has been so kind and seems to truly care about our dogs. We move around a lot and have been to a lot of vets but this place is by far our favorite and our dogs favorite as well. And the time in the waiting room is always short, or even no wait at all which I always appreciate. Definitely recommend them!

I really wish I could give more stars than this. I had an emergency with my baby girl last night. She is a year and a half year old mixed dog. I called this vet because it was close in tears. They took me in immediately. They took amazing care of my girl and treated both of my dogs like their own. Then the vet sat with me and talked to me for a while to make sure I was okay. He made such a terrible moment into something with a plus side. We found an incredible vet. He took my phone call this morning right away with my minor concerns. What he did for us was beyond what any vet needs to do and I will forgive be thankful. Not only that, but he made it incredibly affordable for us. He was beyond generous. Most vets would charge so much for such a terrible time but this vet tried to make it our last concern. Everyone else working offered so much support and came and played with our dogs. They made them feel happy to be there. Thank you so much Telegraph Road Animal Hospital.

This vet is awesome and Dr. Holmes and his staff are GREAT! You can feel their genuine love for pets when you walk through the door. Lexxi (our beloved dog) was welcomed with open arms. Dr. Holmes took his time with her. We just moved here from Houston and was recommended by people on Ft. Meade base and I am so happy! They even called the next day to check on Lexxi. We are so happy that we got a veterinary clinic that loves our dog as much as we do! I am big on customer service and this Clinic is the best. I can guarantee you and your pet will feel loved!

The service here was everything!!! Called for what seemed to be an emergency with my pup. They were able to squeeze me in at the last minute and take care of my lil man. Everything went great from the check-in process, the procedure, and the very detailed explanation by Dr. Hogue. She greeted me with a smile, took excellent care of my my dog, and was right there until everything was complete. If you're in need of a great vet, then I would highly recommend this place!

I loved Dr. Hogue and Kim, the Vet Tech! Our dog had to get a tooth removed and I was a bit worried. My dog is my baby and I wanted to make sure he got the best care. We went in for a consultation to get a quote and they didn't charge us for this visit. We got another quote at a different animal hospital and had to pay $60 for it. They gave us one price (no low to high range) which we liked. The price was the price. We were able to get him in the next week on Dr. Hogue's surgery day (Wednesdays). I dropped him off in the morning and he was terrified but I felt comfortable leaving him with Kim who was the sweetest. The Dr. called me in the late afternoon, letting me know how the surgery went and when to come pick him up. When we picked him up, the Dr. explained what to expect and how to administer his meds. She called the next day to check-in with us. Then we had a follow-up visit the next week. Even though we were there for his dental exam, I had questions about an unrelated rash he had and she took the time to check him out for us. I'm so glad we decided to come here! Their price was a lot lower than another hospital we went to get a quote at. The inside isn't the newest and there is sometimes a little wait to get seen but I figure, that's how they keep their cost down. They also have a 10% military discount!

My pet had a emergency and needed to be seen. This was our first visit here and I was impressed from the start of my phone call to walking out of the clinic. The front staff showed as much concern for my pet to be seen, sooner then later, as I did. They were able to see my pet between their appointments and took amazing care of her specially tempered self. The Dr. and his techs were great with Hershey, which made our visit quick and welcoming. I couldn't thank them enough for taking care of her and being so patient with her. I will be returning!

I can't say enough about Dr. Holmes, he's a great vet. My previous dog was treated by him and he has been treating our current dog for her medical needs. I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door, he takes the time to sit down with us to go over all our concerns and gives her a thorough exam. The staff is friendly, the office is clean and I don't walk out feeling like I was taken to the cleaners! Great prices compared to the many other vet offices in the area.

I took my field mouse here that I had rescued from Home Depot as a newborn. He has developed a chronic itching problem that caused deep wounds and I was concerned about infection. Dr. Bishop is new on staff and treats exotic and pocket pets. He was very caring and gave my mouse an antibiotic shot and vitamin food supplement. After five days, my mouse is acting better, eating better, and the wounds appear to be healing. I am very satisfied with the service. I was a little taken back by the pricing but I guess it is to be expected since an exotic pet doctor is rare to come by. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I am grateful that my mouse may have a stronger chance of survival now thanks to Dr. Bishop.

The friday before July 4th weekend, I noticed my cat had some sort of eye infection. My original vet was out of town, so I made an appointment at Telegraph Animal Hospital. When I was brought into the room, I noticed that it was filthy. There were two chairs that were covered in stains and the floor and baseboards were covered in animal hair. The vet was very friendly, but she informed me that my cat could possibly have a herpes infection of the eye though she wasn't sure because she didn't have sores or ulcers. So she gave me an ointment and told me to put in her eye twice a day. When I went to pay my bill I was told I was being charged $15 dollars for a ""biohazard"" fee. I had never heard of such a fee. After a week my cat's eye was not getting any better, so I called my regular vet and she said that the ointment needs to put in the eye four times a day and if she didn't have any sores she most likely doesn't have a herpes infection. But she said to give it a try for about 5 days since i already had the medication and see if there was any improvement with the added treatments. When there was no improvement, I took the cat to my vet and she gave me eye drops and said my cat probably had an allergic reaction to new litter or something in the environment. My cat's eye cleared up within 24 hours after using these drops!! I have read good reviews about Telegraph Animal Hospital but since my experience wasn't great, I cannot say I recommend this place.

I would have to say that this animal hospital is one of the best that I’ve ever been to. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hogue who has such a kind, caring, and compassionate personality. I know that she sees many animals on a daily basis, but she made me feel that me and my Doberman were number one priority. The front desk staff is very professional and warm. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants top notch care.

This place is wonderful! They gave me a discount for being new and gave me a detailed list of what I could do for my pet and the vets and assistants are very friendly. It's kind of hidden but you'd still be able to notice the sign which is a disappointment because I believe this place should be more well known. They were so professional and courteous and that just made me feel better about bringing my pets and future pets here when I need a vet.

There are 2-3 individual rooms for pets to be seen privately, however, all sound travels all the way from the animals kept in the back - so if you have a skittish animal, be aware.

Absolutely adore Dr Hogue and her assistant! Everyone here has been so kind and seems to truly care about our dogs. We move around a lot and have been to a lot of vets but this place is by far our favorite and our dogs favorite as well. And the time in the waiting room is always short, or even no wait at all which I always appreciate. Definitely recommend them!

I really wish I could give more stars than this. I had an emergency with my baby girl last night. She is a year and a half year old mixed dog. I called this vet because it was close in tears. They took me in immediately. They took amazing care of my girl and treated both of my dogs like their own. Then the vet sat with me and talked to me for a while to make sure I was okay. He made such a terrible moment into something with a plus side. We found an incredible vet. He took my phone call this morning right away with my minor concerns. What he did for us was beyond what any vet needs to do and I will forgive be thankful. Not only that, but he made it incredibly affordable for us. He was beyond generous. Most vets would charge so much for such a terrible time but this vet tried to make it our last concern. Everyone else working offered so much support and came and played with our dogs. They made them feel happy to be there. Thank you so much Telegraph Road Animal Hospital.

This vet is awesome and Dr. Holmes and his staff are GREAT! You can feel their genuine love for pets when you walk through the door. Lexxi (our beloved dog) was welcomed with open arms. Dr. Holmes took his time with her. We just moved here from Houston and was recommended by people on Ft. Meade base and I am so happy! They even called the next day to check on Lexxi. We are so happy that we got a veterinary clinic that loves our dog as much as we do! I am big on customer service and this Clinic is the best. I can guarantee you and your pet will feel loved!

The service here was everything!!! Called for what seemed to be an emergency with my pup. They were able to squeeze me in at the last minute and take care of my lil man. Everything went great from the check-in process, the procedure, and the very detailed explanation by Dr. Hogue. She greeted me with a smile, took excellent care of my my dog, and was right there until everything was complete. If you're in need of a great vet, then I would highly recommend this place!

I loved Dr. Hogue and Kim, the Vet Tech! Our dog had to get a tooth removed and I was a bit worried. My dog is my baby and I wanted to make sure he got the best care. We went in for a consultation to get a quote and they didn't charge us for this visit. We got another quote at a different animal hospital and had to pay $60 for it. They gave us one price (no low to high range) which we liked. The price was the price. We were able to get him in the next week on Dr. Hogue's surgery day (Wednesdays). I dropped him off in the morning and he was terrified but I felt comfortable leaving him with Kim who was the sweetest. The Dr. called me in the late afternoon, letting me know how the surgery went and when to come pick him up. When we picked him up, the Dr. explained what to expect and how to administer his meds. She called the next day to check-in with us. Then we had a follow-up visit the next week. Even though we were there for his dental exam, I had questions about an unrelated rash he had and she took the time to check him out for us. I'm so glad we decided to come here! Their price was a lot lower than another hospital we went to get a quote at. The inside isn't the newest and there is sometimes a little wait to get seen but I figure, that's how they keep their cost down. They also have a 10% military discount!

My pet had a emergency and needed to be seen. This was our first visit here and I was impressed from the start of my phone call to walking out of the clinic. The front staff showed as much concern for my pet to be seen, sooner then later, as I did. They were able to see my pet between their appointments and took amazing care of her specially tempered self. The Dr. and his techs were great with Hershey, which made our visit quick and welcoming. I couldn't thank them enough for taking care of her and being so patient with her. I will be returning!

I can't say enough about Dr. Holmes, he's a great vet. My previous dog was treated by him and he has been treating our current dog for her medical needs. I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door, he takes the time to sit down with us to go over all our concerns and gives her a thorough exam. The staff is friendly, the office is clean and I don't walk out feeling like I was taken to the cleaners! Great prices compared to the many other vet offices in the area.

Make sure you get a price quote before the service. They charged me $25 to trim a rabbits nails. Other vets in the area charge UNDER $10. Lesson learned!

I took my field mouse here that I had rescued from Home Depot as a newborn. He has developed a chronic itching problem that caused deep wounds and I was concerned about infection. Dr. Bishop is new on staff and treats exotic and pocket pets. He was very caring and gave my mouse an antibiotic shot and vitamin food supplement. After five days, my mouse is acting better, eating better, and the wounds appear to be healing. I am very satisfied with the service. I was a little taken back by the pricing but I guess it is to be expected since an exotic pet doctor is rare to come by. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I am grateful that my mouse may have a stronger chance of survival now thanks to Dr. Bishop.

I visited Telegraph Rd. Animal Hospital and was impressed by the professional staff. I could tell they really cared about my pup, and even caught an ear infection. I had no idea that he even had it, but it made perfect sense. He was constantly scratching. I would highly recommend this vet.

The friday before July 4th weekend, I noticed my cat had some sort of eye infection. My original vet was out of town, so I made an appointment at Telegraph Animal Hospital. When I was brought into the room, I noticed that it was filthy. There were two chairs that were covered in stains and the floor and baseboards were covered in animal hair. The vet was very friendly, but she informed me that my cat could possibly have a herpes infection of the eye though she wasn't sure because she didn't have sores or ulcers. So she gave me an ointment and told me to put in her eye twice a day. When I went to pay my bill I was told I was being charged $15 dollars for a ""biohazard"" fee. I had never heard of such a fee. After a week my cat's eye was not getting any better, so I called my regular vet and she said that the ointment needs to put in the eye four times a day and if she didn't have any sores she most likely doesn't have a herpes infection. But she said to give it a try for about 5 days since i already had the medication and see if there was any improvement with the added treatments. When there was no improvement, I took the cat to my vet and she gave me eye drops and said my cat probably had an allergic reaction to new litter or something in the environment. My cat's eye cleared up within 24 hours after using these drops!! I have read good reviews about Telegraph Animal Hospital but since my experience wasn't great, I cannot say I recommend this place.
