The staff and Vets at Marymont are excellent. The doctors will talk with you over the phone and provide reassurance (something I have not seen before!). They provide curteous and prompt services and explain, in detail, the condition of your animals. I trust them with my fur babies and will be a lifetime customer.

Long wait times for appointments. Today we had a wait of 40 minutes. No staff came out to explain what was going on to me or other patients in the waiting room. If there is going to be a wait of this length, staff should call patients before their appointment. Dr. Meyer is not patient with pets, opting to muzzle my sweet, albeit anxious dog, before trying to make her comfortable by speaking to her. He poked his head in when he heard her barking and asked what sized muzzle she needed. Once he started talking to my dog, at the end of the appointment, she warmed up to him just fine. Dr. Martini is better--much more patient. She actually worked with my sweet girl by talking to her.

We had a great cat for 14 years, he started to have seizures, so we knew it was time to not let him suffer any more. We rescue cats and have used Marymont for all our 7 cats. NOT ANYMORE ! The bill was $258 to euthanize him!! I called and talked to Dr Meyer, who offered a time payment plan. Not a reduction, I was asking for. Cancer has hit home and money is not easy to come by . He could care less! We price checked and Fairland Vet was $98, Four Corners Vet was $150 and Coll Pke.Vet., was $109.50 !! Unbelievable !! I knew they were a bit higher priced than other places, BUT !!! This review was left by Tom Waggaman

The vet did a surgery to remove a big tumor from my 11yo dog's eyelid. She did a fantastic job and the eyelid is perfect now. Cost total with office visit, labs and surgery, about $650. They also let us come and stay with our dog while she was waking up from surgery until she was ready to go home. I feel this was very calming for our dog and made her recovery easier. The stitches were perfectly done and the dog never even needed a cone.

I have interacted with numerous techs and two doctors at this vet and I’m always comforted by the amount of time and attention I am given with my dog. She has a lot of gastrointestinal issues and I’m always called back the same day if I have questions but can’t bring my dog into the office, and they have all helped me decide when it was the right time to bring her into the emergency vet when necessary.

I've been bringing my LhasaPoo here for six years now. I love the attention and level of service I receive on every visit. They send reminders for booster shots, etc, which I find helpful. Once I had what I now know was not such an emergency (I was a new puppy mom and knew no better) and they saw me immediately. What was so special about that visit was that no one made me feel silly for my concern. Instead they taught me how to handle such a situation if it were to occur again. Now, they may have laughed when I left,and that's okay because I certainly did.

My grandma has used this place for years and is on a first name basis with the staff so I figured I would give it a shot. They have excellent staff and always take care of your animals. If the animal needs anything done they do them. In short they take excellent care of their customers and their pets.

recently had to take my kitty in as an emergency, and as a new patient and when i called they were extremely kind and told me right away if they could help which they were able to do. they helped us feel calm about leaving him there over night and just calm in general, (didn't meet the doctor but the front desk was so so helpful in letting us know how it was going and what our kitty had) we are picking him up tomorrow and hopefully everything go's well, but my initial experience? amazing and would highly recommend.

Bad Experience: The groomer is not qualified to do the job she advertised to do. I brought my dog to be groomed and was appalled to see that she did not groom my dog at all but bathed him and did a few cut here and there. I took her around 1hr. to groom my dog that usually takes 2.5hrs. The charge was $65 for doing practically nothing to my dog. In addition, I was charged $38 for an influenza shot. Further, they also vaccinated my dog with a bordetella intranasal $42 without calling me. When I asked, I was told they required those vaccines for any dog that is going to be groomed. In total, I was scammed $145 for grooming services. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Our dog was very sick, and needed emergency attention. Marymont Animal Hospital let us come in right away, even though we were new patients. Everyone there was gentle, kind and compassionate. Dr. Meyer explained all our options, but we did not feel pressured or guilted into doing any unnecessary or extreme procedures. The fees were very reasonable. We will not go anywhere else from now on.

I have a 8 lb. chihuahua, he was attacked at a park. My regular vet wouldnt see me. I was told to go to ER..Once I exolained my situation at Marymont...They made time for y dog to be seen.I recommed this hospital, the staff is great. There was no extra hidden charges. I will from now on continue taking my dogs there.

The staff and Vets at Marymont are excellent. The doctors will talk with you over the phone and provide reassurance (something I have not seen before!). They provide curteous and prompt services and explain, in detail, the condition of your animals. I trust them with my fur babies and will be a lifetime customer.

If there is going to be a wait of this length, staff should call patients before their appointment. We had a great cat for 14 years, he started to have seizures, so we knew it was time to not let him suffer any more. We rescue cats and have used Marymont for all our 7 cats. NOT ANYMORE ! The vet did a surgery to remove a big tumor from my 11yo dog's eyelid. She did a fantastic job and the eyelid is perfect now. Cost total with office visit, labs and surgery, about $650. They also let us come and stay with our dog while she was waking up from surgery until she was ready to go home. I feel this was very calming for our dog and made her recovery easier. The stitches were perfectly done and the dog never even needed a cone.

I have interacted with numerous techs and two doctors at this vet and I’m always comforted by the amount of time and attention I am given with my dog. I've been bringing my LhasaPoo here for six years now. I love the attention and level of service I receive on every visit. They send reminders for booster shots, etc, which I find helpful. Once I had what I now know was not such an emergency (I was a new puppy mom and knew no better) and they saw me immediately. What was so special about that visit was that no one made me feel silly for my concern. Instead they taught me how to handle such a situation if it were to occur again. Now, they may have laughed when I left,and that's okay because I certainly did.

Our dog was very sick, and needed emergency attention. Marymont Animal Hospital let us come in right away, even though we were new patients. Everyone there was gentle, kind and compassionate.
