Lutherville Animal Hospital

Timonium, Maryland
General Info
Lutherville Animal Hospital in Timonium offers compassionate and knowledgeable care for pets in the region. Their services include Dental Care, Endoscopy, Grooming, and Surgery. The practice’s team understands the special bond between pets and their families and strives to promote wellness, address chronic conditions, and ease an unexpected illness. Wellness visits at Lutherville Animal Hospital in Timonium focus on posture flexibility and climate timing, especially for active senior or predisposed breeds in Maryland. The consultation starts by evaluating daily movement abilities such as climbing, resting positions, jumping tolerance, fatigue levels, and social interaction. A comprehensive head-to-tail examination checks the animal’s weight, orthopedic stability, range of movement, coat health, ease of breathing, dental health and sensory awareness. Breed-related vulnerabilities like hip dysplasia, spinal issues, and allergies (or overheating) due to the structural design may undergo assessment via pet history and physical cues. Lutherville Animal Hospital offers vaccine programs, lab work, lameness checks, nutritional coaching, dental exams, and pain evaluations. Timing will depend on seasonal and breed-related risks such as winter stiffness in large dogs, pollen-related spring flare-ups and reduced exercise tolerance. The planning might be adjusted according to age stages, and activity-based conditioning is highly recommended. Visit reports provide the family with the following home-based adjustment tips: the type of harness, traction tips, temperature awareness and weight targets. The athletic milestone combined with the recovery/weather planning level create a more flexible timeline for returning arthritic or senior pets. Lutherville Animal Hospital enables Timonium Maryland pet owners to take some steps for their pets’ health through movement’s timing and breed awareness. They are committed to prevention, early detection, and timely treatment. Customers value the company’s transparency, education, and guidance. From complicated diagnoses to the support of senior pets’ needs, they are always involved in every case. The company’s reputation continues to rise as more pet owners recognize its innovative focus on overall animal health and wellness.

I've had Skittles since 2008 and have traveled the country with her and she means a lot to me. She was having breathing problems and was in a super fragile state. The staff was excellent and was able to fit me into the schedule on short notice. I met with Dr Hart, who was fantastic. Normally vets try to take your pets to the back for an exam and leave you in the dark. She preformed the exam in front of me and was very careful and complete in her exam, and care. She listened to all my concerns and asked very pertinent questions. Once everything was done she sent me home with some medicine to administer. Normally vets give you a bottle and syringe and say good luck. The staff loaded up a syringe for every dose measured perfectly to make it as easy as possible to administer the medicine. The other reviewers here are both from out of state, so I'm not even sure they're reviewing the right place, and even if they are, they clearly don't have extensive experience with the location. I find it a bit disturbing that of the three review quotes I got from google for the luterhville animal hospital, 2 quotes were taken from the same negative review (out of 10 reviews, the rest of which were positive), and the review was from an out of state reviewer to boot. I've been a customer of Lutherville Animal Hospital for years, and find them to be proficient, friendly and easy going. Yes, the building is old and a bit beat up, but it adds character, and the exam rooms are clean.
