Today was my first visit and it was awesome! I took my whole pack in for visits, shots, and checkups. Everything was so organized and well run. the doctor was amazing and very thorough.Seriously on one day they dealt with 2 sphynx cats, 1 elderly doberman and a puppy pointer mix. Never missed a beat. All the animals were well looked at and got great care. They referred where needed and I left with necessary pills and ointments not feeling like I had been duped or anything was extra. I got great advice on when to neuter the puppy, when to send in blood for elder care for my Zita and tips on frail cats. I felt they were in great hands and I couldn't ask for anything more. Honest, fair price, and good staff. We were using another vet in the area and had an emergency which forced us to go to Charles County Veterinary Hospital. The office is clean, uncrowded and the staff knew how to handle our mature grumpy cat. Initial cost was a little more than our other Vet, but during follow up visits, routine prices for test and care were cheaper. Dr. Miller has been taking care of our 4 (now 5) fur babies for about 2 years now. They are very friendly from start to finish. I have very large dogs. They tend to be nervous around strangers. Dr Miller and his staff are very patient and gentle with my dogs. Usually my dogs panic when I take them to the vet. They have never panicked around the Dr and his staff. In fact my female actually lets the staff hold her during an exam. She has never let anyone else do this. I brought my 5mo puppy in for an annual checkup. The staff was very nice, and the Vet was great. He gave me a tour of the facilities to show me all of the services offered and technology available on-location. Dr. Miller and team have cared for our cats after 3 others in the area let us down some 20 years ago. Very thoughtful in handling us all especially when I had to say goodbye to one cat 9 years ago as well. Dr. Miller and his staff are absolutely wonderful! During my first visit, Dr. Miller personally offered to give me tour of the entire facility. His staff is friendly and the care they provide is fantastic. They offer the best prices in the area (and a military discount) and a full line of services. I ABSOLUTELY love Dr. Miller!! He not only took care of my husband's dog, Jake, before he passed away in 2008 and is now seeing our 12 year old Beagle Riley! Riley DOES NOT like the vet office at all and he LOVES Dr. Miller and his staff!! I can not say enough about how well he has taken care of both of my dogs. Riley enjoys his gentle touch and even gives kisses before we leave the office. I usually have to give Rye (for short) benadryl before we leave for the vet and now I don't have to do so!! He enjoys the car ride and enjoys going to the doctor. This is HUGE for us!! I can not thank his staff for taking care of our baby's including giving us a follow-up when we put Jake down in 2008. Dr Miller and his staff have a very small practice but they are so very good. Dr. Miller is quick and calm with our young German Shepherd. He has been quite thorough with our new patient visit and he has helped us take care of a couple of small issues that came up, so that our pup was up and busy and feeling good as quickly as possible. CCVH outperformed my expectations. They promptly saw us at our appointed time. They evaluated my dog with an excellent degree of accuracy, which has led to a downgrade of his condition. We moved to Maryland after living in GA all of our lives. I have used the same vet for 11 years. I was so pleased to see how welcoming Dr. Miller is. Each time I have visited, which has been about 4 times in the last year, Dr. Miller did all of the tests and vaccines himself! He is very proud of his work and it shows! My dog was injured during the night hours and my usual Vet could not fit me for a visit the following day.  I called CCVH and was able to get an appointment right away.  My pet needed to be sedated for x-rays and I was reluctant but Dr. Miller was very professional and assured me she would be okay (he also mentioned the risk involved - important to note).  In the end, my girl, Honey Love, was fine although she did sustain some injury as indicated by the recommended x-rays.  Dr. Miller referred me to another professional to follow up and we're looking forward to that visit.  Dr. Miller went above and beyond, he's friendly, altruistic and about the business of veterinary medicine and care.  Also, kudos to your staff.  Thanks to you all. My 15 year old cat became very ill last weekend, she's never been sick before.  I remembered Dr. Miller because he gave her shots as a new kitten. I remembered how kind he was to "Twinkie" the couple of visits prior and although a friend recommended 2 other vets I looked up Dr. Miller again-thank God he was still there.  I honestly thought Twinkie was going to die she became so ill.  Dr. Miller and his team took eecellent care of our beloved kitty.  It turns out she's diabetic.  He had all the modern diagnostic equipment and expertise to make her well! We've been taking our cats here for over 10 years. Felix was lethargic, vomiting liquid and sleeping a lot . He was dx with a fever, given antibiotic and anti-nausea injections. Within 6 hours, although he wasn't allowed to eat still, he was running around and rough housing with his brother, Oscar. Dr. Miller called the next day with blood test results which were negative for disease. This visit was $535. Our last visit for Oscar who ate an ear plug was $495 which he vomited 3 weeks later. Still cheaper than an vet ER. Dr. Miller is personable and professional as is the staff. Overall satisfied. Read Less

I would recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Miller cares so much about every animal that comes through the door. He starts out each visit petting my cats and getting them comfortable and acquainted with him. Also, his facility is the best I've ever seen! On my first visit, he gave me a tour of the building, which was sparkling clean and full of high tech equipment and cleaning devices (like an autoclave). This is the best clinic I have ever been to. I took my two big dogs for their yearly checkup and shots. The very first thing the veterinarian did was get down to their level and pet them. He spent a good five minutes greeting them and feeding them treats so that they would have a positive experience with him. He was very gentle with their shots and tests. He even took me on a tour of the clinic. The place smelled so clean, I didn't smell any animals at all! Their equipment is fairly high tech and they are the only clinic in the area to have some of them. They have normal crates as well as the running kind which allows dogs room to stretch and walk around a bit without having to feel so cooped up. Any vet is is eager to give a "behind the scenes" tour proves to me that they are confident in their practice and that they have nothing to hide. I feel completely safe letting him care for my pets.
