I never have trouble making appointments and the wait time at the office is usually brief. The doctors and staff are great. They always know my name and the name of my animals. They are very helpful and caring. I usually see Dr. Murray and she is patient with my dog and cats. She always shows concern for my animals and for me when I have questions. A few weeks ago I had an emergency with one of my cats and Dr. Gray was absolutely wonderful during this time. I love Muddy Creek!! What an amazing animal hospital! I have been taking both of my dogs there for at least 15 years! While it's far from my house (I live in Annapolis), I'm willing to make the drive because of the level of care both of my dogs receive. Amazing, kind and caring staff from the "front of the house to the back of the house". I'm thankful that I can text Dr. Gray at any time with questions or concerns about my dogs and he is always willing to help outside of his normal hours. I honestly can't say enough great things. What better indication is there of how terrific Muddy Creek Animal Hospital is than the fact that our Akita loves to go to the vet? He is afraid of the scale but is always excited by the actual clinic. Everyone there is kind and patient but we are particularly fond of Dr Gray. He has been our family vet for decades and has been there for us through some sad and difficult times. He is currently helping us with the separation anxiety our Akita suddenly developed. I'very been coming to Muddy Creek Animal Hospital for over 16 years. Dr. Gray is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and takes all the time necessary to evaluate and address our concerns. He and the entire staff are genuinely kind and caring. They understand the individual needs of each pet, particularly as they age. They were always willing and able to accommodate us and our dog as she aged and her health declined. They kept her comfortable and relaxed all the way to the very end. The heartfelt compassion when making the most difficult decision I've ever made meant more than words can describe. She was 18! I had been going to a local Veterinary Clinic, whose name I shall not mention, for years and had no complaints. About a year ago on a Saturday morning, one of my dogs had a swollen paw and I called to see if he could be seen. Despite my Vet having office hours on Saturday, they said they could not fit him in. I live very close to Muddy Creek Animal Hospital and called them thinking there would be no way they would see my dog on a Saturday, not having been a patient before. Not only did they say they would see him, they said come right away and he would be worked in to the schedule. I switched both my dogs to Muddy Creek that day. I just wanted to take a minute and tell you about Muddy Creek Animal Hospital. I was blessed enough to find out about them through a friend when I had a kitten that someone asked me to save. I was told by another animal hospital to let him die. Not at Muddy Creek, they took him under their care and worked hard to save his tiny special life. From that that first moment the staff was amazingly loving, nurturing and determined to save him. I had him from only weeks old until he was about to turn 12 years old. All because of the care he got at Muddy Creek. And we never stopped taking any of our furbabies there and we never will as long as we live in driving distance. I would highly recommend that if you need a place to take your pets definitely take them to the loving and talented doctors and staff at Muddy Creek. I have been taking my dogs to Muddy Creek Animal Hospital since the day Dr. Nissan opened his doors. Have never experienced anything but the best of care from all the vets and staff there. We are very comfortable with any of the vets dealing with our dogs in an emergency but, for routine visits keeping tabs on Bailey's diabetes and Addie Mae thyroid issues Dr. Taylor is the go to vet. We are in the planning stages of moving to Tennessee to retire and have discussed the very real possibility of continuing to bring our dogs to Muddy Creek for routine care. We drive 30 minutes just to go to this that office because our greyhounds are so well taken care of. They have acupuncture as well as other that services. We have never had a bad experience and their prices are affordable. One year I got a call from the vet on Thanksgiving morning to check up on my healing pup. I went with an emergency.Everyone rallied around me and helped, even if it was a joke to put me at ease. Dr Murray was excellent! The sign of an intelligent person is knowing when to ask for further info. She called another vet more specialized in the problem presented to her. Dr Murray went above and beyond!She was open to me as a breeder. Vicki, Stacey, Ronnie all helped me-be it blood draw, comforting me or talking about Thanksgiving. They all have a gift of making dogs and clients feel at ease. Theresa despite being busy also came to the rescue. My dog needed a medication which they did not stock. Vicki called around to vets as well as human pharmacies to find it. Not once, did any one make me feel stupid or that I was doing the wrong thing. Dr Halderman came into consult. The doctors and staff are wonderful. They took care of my shepherd, Timber, for years. I love Muddy Creek so much that after we moved to Delaware I brought my other dog, Ace, all the way back to Muddy Creek for a surgical procedure. Dr Taylor kept close tabs on his on his recovery. This place is awesome! Being the mom of a sick Boxer I am forever grateful to them. Moe has had problems since he was a puppy. He has passed out on me a few times and I would grab him and run to Muddy Creek and they never turned me away. Even if they were busy someone would look at him. We didn't think he would live long when he started having violent seizures but they got him on the right meds and Mopar will be 9 in June. I have had times I couldn't pay and they would work out something but would never tell us no. They truly care for your pet as if they were a family member of theirs.
