My girlfriend and I recently got a kitten as our first animal. Driving by MVAH often we decided we would go there. We got the kitten from a friend so there were no previous vacs or neutering done. It was fairly expensive. That being said you get what you pay for. The staff at this vet is unbelievable. They truly made us feel like we mattered and we were special. They seem to genuinely care about your pet and we feel like we got the best care for our cat. Speaking to a friend that is a vet intern who toured the location, from what she says it's the cleanest and most equipped she's seen in her education. That comment truly helped us decide to get our cat neutered there. Everything went smooth and I will continue to bring our boy to Merrimac valley. Thank you!!! I have been going to MVAH for many years. Dr Brown was the Vet there when I first started going. We continued going when it was sold and I have no regrets staying there. Dr Wojicki is great with my Willow. I have had many dogs and they have always been treated with care. The staff are all very pleasant also. What I truly love about this place, besides Dr Wojicki and staff, the place is always so clean. Before I went there I went to a few different places and they were dirty with fur and stains all over the place. The offices smelled of dirty dog and urine. It’s a no brainer where I want my pets to go.

Unfortunately, with three bad experiences, I cannot recommend this facility. 1. Our dog was diagnosed with cancer by this facility, had surgery at a specialty vet, and we were then told the surgery was unnecessary as lump that was removed was not cancer. 2. When it came time to put our dog down, the needle for the injection bent on insertion, and the second injection took a very long time to work, and his death process was so not good. It was so awful to watch and so not the way any animal (or human) should go. 3. Our cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis and given different food. He continued to not eat and we took him to another vet and he was diagnosed with cancer. An accurate initial diagnosis would have saved our cat three weeks of misery.

MVAH has been caring for my dog for the last 7 months. Initially my first visit was simply out of convenience, as my dog suffered a toe injury late in the afternoon and my dog's vet had already closed for the day. MVAH was still open and less than 5 minutes away from my home, so I decided to call. To my surprise and relief, we were invited to bring my dog down immediately for an evaluation, even though MVAH did not know us. Once there I was so impressed with the level of care we received from Dr. Wojcicki and her staff that I made the decision to transfer vets to make MVAH my dog's permanent veterinarian. I have since had my dog back for a minor illness as well as her annual examination/vaccines and found that same level of caring, compassion, and professionalism that I found so appealing after our first visit.
I highly recommend Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital and look forward to having them treat my dog for many more years to come!

MVAH was responsible for my dog Jack's health care for the past 5 years. The care he received was excellent and appropriate. Dr. Wojcicki did not rush to judgement to recommend test or xrays until it was the very last option. I recently had to put Jack to sleep, due to a serious medical event, and the entire staff were just outstanding. They knew Jack by name and understood how important he was to me. When he died, they felt the sorrow I did. There are no words how highly I recommend their service.

My cat loved her visit. OK I may be exaggerating a bit. I want to thank the entire staff and Dr Wojiki for making her the most comfortable I have ever seen her at the vets. The staff was patient and let her come out at her own pace instead of turning her upside down and dumping her out (we have had that happened at another place before) I appreciated the time the doctor took with us discussing her most recent bad bathroom behaviors. Turns out she has an infection. She will be getting some medication and we will be visiting again for a follow up. The clinic is clean and roomy, the staff was very friendly, cost is always a factor for us and was thankful to have a plan that worked within the budget.

I recently switched to MVAH when i moved back into the area. My dog had a skin odor that required many skin scrapings to figure out what was going on. After scraping her down until she bled, at multiple points on her body, they only tested for one problem rather than using the same samples to test for multiple problems, so they then asked me to bring her back in for another scraping.
All in all, i learned from other dog owners that is was more than likely an allergy and I should avoid the tall grass with her during the spring. (which worked!) This was after every time i go into MVAH it magically winds up to be $300+ every time.
I do not want to say they are not good at their jobs but they are in business to make money and they will do just that. I will not bring my dog back for anything more than shots and regular check ups.

Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital is amazing! The staff is incredibly nice and really cares about our Italian Greyhound. I feel as if everyone stops what they are doing to welcome Merlin and I feel they truly love him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wojcicki. Lately Merlin has been experiencing some kidney issues that is hard to diagnose. Dr. Wojcicki spent time on the phone discussing treatment possibilities with my husband. I honestly know she loves Merlin and there is nothing more comforting when it comes your pet.

It was pointed out to me that a negative review was posted for the vet I go to. I have to add my experience which is nothing but postive. I have had excellent care from MVAH for several pets over the years. The vets have been nothing but kind and helpful, the techs/support are the same. They went above and beyond for me in one instance I will never forget. I have been here for routine and emergency situations. I like this animal hospital so much that I continue to travel out of my way to see the vets there, I am closer to two other vets but choose to go to MVAH. I recommend them without hesitation.

My girlfriend and I recently got a kitten as our first animal. Driving by MVAH often we decided we would go there. We got the kitten from a friend so there were no previous vacs or neutering done. It was fairly expensive. That being said you get what you pay for. The staff at this vet is unbelievable. They truly made us feel like we mattered and we were special. They seem to genuinely care about your pet and we feel like we got the best care for our cat. Speaking to a friend that is a vet intern who toured the location, from what she says it's the cleanest and most equipped she's seen in her education. That comment truly helped us decide to get our cat neutered there. Everything went smooth and I will continue to bring our boy to Merrimac valley. Thank you!!! Of course we have to attach a picture of our love with this review :).

I have been going to MVAH for many years. Dr Brown was the Vet there when I first started going. We continued going when it was sold and I have no regrets staying there. Dr Wojicki is great with my Willow. I have had many dogs and they have always been treated with care. The staff are all very pleasant also. What I truly love about this place, besides Dr Wojicki and staff, the place is always so clean. Before I went there I went to a few different places and they were dirty with fur and stains all over the place. The offices smelled of dirty dog and urine. It’s a no brainer where I want my pets to go.

Unfortunately, with three bad experiences, I cannot recommend this facility. 1. Our dog was diagnosed with cancer by this facility, had surgery at a specialty vet, and we were then told the surgery was unnecessary as lump that was removed was not cancer. 2. When it came time to put our dog down, the needle for the injection bent on insertion, and the second injection took a very long time to work, and his death process was so not good. It was so awful to watch and so not the way any animal (or human) should go. 3. Our cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis and given different food. He continued to not eat and we took him to another vet and he was diagnosed with cancer. An accurate initial diagnosis would have saved our cat three weeks of misery.

MVAH has been caring for my dog for the last 7 months. Initially my first visit was simply out of convenience, as my dog suffered a toe injury late in the afternoon and my dog's vet had already closed for the day. MVAH was still open and less than 5 minutes away from my home, so I decided to call. To my surprise and relief, we were invited to bring my dog down immediately for an evaluation, even though MVAH did not know us. Once there I was so impressed with the level of care we received from Dr. Wojcicki and her staff that I made the decision to transfer vets to make MVAH my dog's permanent veterinarian. I have since had my dog back for a minor illness as well as her annual examination/vaccines and found that same level of caring, compassion, and professionalism that I found so appealing after our first visit.
I highly recommend Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital and look forward to having them treat my dog for many more years to come!

MVAH was responsible for my dog Jack's health care for the past 5 years. The care he received was excellent and appropriate. Dr. Wojcicki did not rush to judgement to recommend test or xrays until it was the very last option. I recently had to put Jack to sleep, due to a serious medical event, and the entire staff were just outstanding. They knew Jack by name and understood how important he was to me. When he died, they felt the sorrow I did. There are no words how highly I recommend their service.

My cat loved her visit. OK I may be exaggerating a bit. I want to thank the entire staff and Dr Wojiki for making her the most comfortable I have ever seen her at the vets. The staff was patient and let her come out at her own pace instead of turning her upside down and dumping her out (we have had that happened at another place before) I appreciated the time the doctor took with us discussing her most recent bad bathroom behaviors. Turns out she has an infection. She will be getting some medication and we will be visiting again for a follow up. The clinic is clean and roomy, the staff was very friendly, cost is always a factor for us and was thankful to have a plan that worked within the budget.

I recently switched to MVAH when i moved back into the area. My dog had a skin odor that required many skin scrapings to figure out what was going on. After scraping her down until she bled, at multiple points on her body, they only tested for one problem rather than using the same samples to test for multiple problems, so they then asked me to bring her back in for another scraping.
All in all, i learned from other dog owners that is was more than likely an allergy and I should avoid the tall grass with her during the spring. (which worked!) This was after every time i go into MVAH it magically winds up to be $300+ every time.
I do not want to say they are not good at their jobs but they are in business to make money and they will do just that. I will not bring my dog back for anything more than shots and regular check ups.

Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital is amazing! The staff is incredibly nice and really cares about our Italian Greyhound. I feel as if everyone stops what they are doing to welcome Merlin and I feel they truly love him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wojcicki. Lately Merlin has been experiencing some kidney issues that is hard to diagnose. Dr. Wojcicki spent time on the phone discussing treatment possibilities with my husband. I honestly know she loves Merlin and there is nothing more comforting when it comes your pet.

It was pointed out to me that a negative review was posted for the vet I go to. I have to add my experience which is nothing but postive. I have had excellent care from MVAH for several pets over the years. The vets have been nothing but kind and helpful, the techs/support are the same. They went above and beyond for me in one instance I will never forget. I have been here for routine and emergency situations. I like this animal hospital so much that I continue to travel out of my way to see the vets there, I am closer to two other vets but choose to go to MVAH. I recommend them without hesitation.
