Caring, loving, pleasant, always trying the least invasive possibility first, give you choices. I have been driving here an hour from Boston for about 9 years, since we found it. It is worth it, my dog gets excellent care, I get a peace of mind that she is never given anything she does not need (like rabies vaccination every year), they recommend alternatives (better tick collar, not full of harmful chemicals). I never had to wait more than a few minutes, but people should understand that especially in a small place, if there is an emergency or exception, you will have to wait! I'd rather wait than be treated like a thing on a conveyor belt. My dog loves coming here, she seems to think it is a social visit, and that's how it feels to me too. Although we usually only come once or twice a year, Dr. Caviness remembers us (and I don't think it is because she growls at him and behaves like a bitch, I am sure he is used to that) and takes time to talk to us and answer any questions. The Center is right at the freeway exit, very easy to find. As a treat we go for a walk around there. It is beautiful, we just try not to catch a tick or step on a snake. And the back-road scenic drive home is slow, but fun (apple farm nearby..). Read Less
