I haven't been here yet, but my first interaction was very positive.  We are new to the area and I need a new vet for my cat.  He also recently got a paw injury and I was hoping they would be able to see him.  When I explained all this to a different vet clinic in Taunton, I was dismissed with a "sorry we can't see you" and no other options.  Bridgewater Vet Clinic gave me options, and were kind, and were able to schedule a follow up appt for me.  I appreciated their patience and willingness to help and not be dismissive. Treated my cat there for years and alway found the staff and especially Dr. Brown exceptionally caring and knowledgeable. When it was time to put my "Bootsie" down due to tumors Dr. Brown came to my house to perform the procedure and couldn't have been kinder or more compassionate making all the arrangements after with Angel View Pet Cemetery..Meant so much to have her go to that final sleep in my arms.. I brought My pets here for yrs. I found the staff to be unfriendly & they miss diagnosed My Dog! She had a know heart murmur & had developed a cough. They told me it was Nothing & Made me spend $$$ on an ear infection treatment!?! I never used it b/c they were fine. Not even a week later I had to rush her to Westbridgewater Veterinarian she was having seizures ( the cough tore an artery to her heart & was bleeding out!) Over the phone I said heart murmur & cough & they told me that that was a red flag that should have been addressed immediately!! She had to go in an oxygen tank & in the end had to be put down b/c she was too far gone to save!!  I'm devastated still If You Love your pets Don't Go Here!!! Read Less

Was a little nervous with Spike having surgery, being diabetic and blind and not familiar with the staff or hospital. Dr Caso and the staff made him feel comfortable . Dr Caso is a wonderful vet even though it is a little drive I would not trust Spike with anyone else. She calls herself after surgery and then today to check on him. I brought my first dog, Baron, to see Dr. Brown in 1975. People in town were all excited about the new vet who was so compassionate and knowledgeable, and so was I. In the 1980s, I moved away and then moved back in the 1990s, and brought my next three dogs to Dr. Brown. Last week, my soulmate, Heidi, rapidly failed and passed on. Dr. Brown was by our side every step of the way, every single day. So were the other doctors and assistants and stafflike a tight-knit caring family. I have been in search of a new Vet with a great reputation, several people and the groomers I use recommend this place. After years of disappointment with other Vets for almost 3 years I made appointment with Bridgewater Vet clinic. My Pitbull has had a change in condition with decrease activity, less eating and problems with front legs unable to jump up or down due to pain. The tech's are great and very friendly, I also had to bring along my other dog- her brother; both were treated with surprising love, care and patience. The Dr did a complete physical and asked more questioned then other prior places and did notice she has a problem with walking in her front leg more. Gave treats to both dogs. They drew blood for complete work up, and to check kidney levels and need a urine. Obtaining the Urine is my part but she showed compassion and love to my dogs. She ordered meds for her small amount to help with pain. She is a great veterinarian - this is what I have been looking for the week before they said if no improvement come back , heck no. I am greatful for the Vet ( I forgot her name) and staff very caring, not like a factory in & out. So ive never actually been to this vet before but when i saw all the great reviews i decided i wanted to call and bring my cat with worms there. I called them right when they opened at 9am and no one answered. Called again, no answer. Waited a few minutes then called again only to find that the line was busy. Called 7 more times and still busy!!! Im sure this is a great vet if you can actually get a hold of them.. Read Less

I have been a client at another veterinary clinic in Taunton for many years, but over the last 3 years their quality/service has steadily declined, so I made the decision to switch vets. I had done extensive research into other vets in the area and asked around for recommendations and ultimately decided upon Bridgewater Veterinary Clinic. I am so glad that I did. We took our dog for her first visit today and it was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from the front desk to the techs to the vet herself, were so friendly. We saw Dr. Sullivan and I just adore her personality - she has a zen-like quality about her, which is exactly what my dog (and me!) needed. It is evident she is very knowledgeable as we spoke with her regarding our dog's past medical issues, and she was very patient with us through all of our questions. Great clinic. I have been taking my cats here for about 8 years, the staff is so nice and friendly. We see Dr. Botelho she is very good, thorough and always has time for all my questions and concerns.  She saved our sick little shelter kittens life 6 years ago. The practice is always willing to see me right away if there is an emergency and when one of my cats passed at a different emergency clinic (middle of the night) Dr Brown was nice enough to call the next day with condolences and explained the condition again to me and was very reassuring. Dr. Brown has been our vet for 30 years, I think! He's nice and calm and gives you real advice and is honest when it comes to your pets. My dog loves him. We recently had a visit with one of the newer vets there now, and my dog loved her. She had the same calmness as Dr. Brown, making my dog - who can be anxious at the vet- relaxed! Read Less

We have been going to Bridgewater Vet Clinic with our cats for about 3 years an it is the best vet clinic we have ever gone to. Dr. Botelho is our main doctor, though we have also seen Dr. Brown once and Dr. Sullivan once. Everyone that works at the clinic is kind and playful with all my cats.  They have a really great office vibe. We recently had to put one of our cats, Ruuin to sleep, she was suffering from seizures, kidney and liver issues, and old age. Dr. Botolho hung in with Ruuin for as long as we could finding solutions to minimize her seizures and keep her alive for as long as she could live with dignity. Beyond our appointments, Dr. Botelho would call me after hours to provide advice and encouragement, check on Ruuin's progress; she is just an amazing doctor. When it was finally time to make the tough decision for Ruuin, I knew we had all the information we needed to make the decision. Dr. Botelho walked us through every step and was with us to the end. You can tell she was sad about it too, which meant a lot.  If we moved out of the area I would still want to come back to BVC because of Dr. Botelho. Read Less

My family has been going to Bridgewater Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years now.  Our dogs see and love Dr. Brown and Dr. McCarthy.  All the ladies who work there have always been the sweetest to our pets and when we've come to that horribly sad day of having to put them to rest, the entire establishment is the same to us.  We recently received a bereavement card signed by the whole clinic after having to let go of our family's beloved yellow lab.  It meant so much to us.  Dogs never love going to the vet but the Bridgewater Vet Clinic makes the experience as pleasant as possible for both pet and owner.
