Everyone has been incredibly nice and kind. They always take the time to answer all my needs but one downfall is everything is ala carte and very pricey. Every process is an additional cost. I always feel like I can never get out of the office without paying $150-$200 for a routine visit. Sick visits (even if scheduled a few days after I call) start at $75. Very nice and thorough, know what they are doing but hefty prices. They have a membership but there is a one time $75 fee to join?!

I moved to Buzzards Bay three years ago, and I kept returning to my former and wonderful vet clinic, which was a longish drive.
A few days ago, one of my little dogs began "honking," coughing up stuff. I waited a day to see if he'd recover, but when he didn't I called the Buzzards Bay Veterinary Clinic, right in BB, because I wanted a local clinic for quick help. They are and were wonderful!
I got an appointment that day, Gibbs was diagnosed as having kennel cough (although I cannot figure out how he got it), and then my other dog, Abby, was diagnosed with it.
As much as I will miss my old clinic and the professionals there, I am so glad to have professional and good people here in BB for my dogs' needs!
Thank you, Dr. Fox, and everyone else who helped.

From the very first phone call with Jocelyn, to schedule Fancy's babies' appointment, I was immediatly impressed with coming there. She was so swee...
I could not have chosen a better veterinary office!
From the very first phone call with Jocelyn, to schedule Fancy's babies' appointment, I was immediatly impressed with coming there. She was so sweet, happy and unquestionably caring and made me feel so welcome.
Arriving to the appointment I was greeted with the nicest, happiest group of girls in the office who obviously love their work and love working together with Dr. Haley Knowlton!
Haley, (was her answer when I asked her name... which to me is a very personable and warm reply from a doctor) is without a doubt, why the office girls must obviously work with a smile!
She is calm, sweet, extremely competent, and was perfect with my baby birds.
Once again, I could not have chosen a better veterinarian office and I am certainly going to refer anyone who needs pet care services to Buzzard's Bay Veterinary Associates!

Great service! They were always upbeat and welcoming and saved my dog's life on more than one occasion (she was a pug, had a horrible autoimmune disease and lived to be 15yrs old).

My cat had an infection in his eye and our usual vet didn't have any openings until 3 weeks out. I called Buzzard's Bay Vet Associates and they were able to get us in for an appointment that was perfect for my schedule. The intake coordinator, vet tech and veterinarian were all amazing. I had two young children in tow and everyone was very accommodating. They are definitely our new vet office!

this place is THE BEST. ive had animals, large and small my whole life and have dealt with many, many vets. they truly are the best!!
(and most of all there prices are incredibly cheap!!! )

Way over priced. We went there for a few years, and after talking to another vet we are paying almost half. Fecal tests were $40+ and $26 elsewhere. We didn't know any better and now we do.

We brought our cat here for what we thought was (after being diagnosed by another vet) routine dental work. To our dismay they quickly discovered she had a growth under her tongue that was most likely cancer. The vet was very courteous and helpful as we tried to discover our best course of action, including returning more than one phone call, providing us with estimates of various procedures, and even referring us to an oncology center for the most inexpensive way to diagnose the tumor.
We are very grateful to Dr. Gilleece for her help during this difficult time. We wish we had brought our pet here before another location so we could have discovered the real problem sooner.
I am editing this review for the following reason: After adopting a new kitten we brought her here for the typical routine of spaying, vaccinations, etc. After the first round of shots it became known the cost of these services would be astronomical. The first round of shots was $175 alone. I had to return to get the 2nd dose for a single vaccination. When I let them know I would be not be getting the spaying and other vaccinations there they found some material in the kitten's ear. Despite my having the kitten for several months and having no contact with other animals, and no active mites being noticed (barring "what may be a mite leg) in her ear, they insisted on prescribing her medication for mites. Another $250 for this visit, with 2 vaccinations and a spaying to go.
Suffice to say when I brought her to a new clinic, there were no signs of mites despite only having used the medication once.

Everyone has been incredibly nice and kind. They always take the time to answer all my needs but one downfall is everything is ala carte and very pricey. Every process is an additional cost. I moved to Buzzards Bay three years ago, and I kept returning to my former and wonderful vet clinic, which was a longish drive.
A few days ago, one of my little dogs began "honking," coughing up stuff. I waited a day to see if he'd recover, but when he didn't I called the Buzzards Bay Veterinary Clinic, right in BB, because I wanted a local clinic for quick help. They are and were wonderful!

I called Buzzard's Bay Vet Associates and they were able to get us in for an appointment that was perfect for my schedule. The intake coordinator, vet tech and veterinarian were all amazing.
