THIS DUMP NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND HIS LICENSE REVOKED!On October 13th I reached out to Vet Gerald B. Cutting at  Memorial Drive Animal Clinic via email (never got a reply) then followed up w/ a phone call to inquire on the cost of Cytopoint injection for my Great Dane that weighs 154lbs, and an ear culture. Over the phone I was given the cost of $220, which included the exam fee, ear culture and Cytopoint injection. I was actually charged $245.00. When I arrived to the clinic reiterated to Janet that I was there for Cytopoint and ear culture and that I was quoted $220. Once the Veterinarian finally entered the examination room I again explained we were there to get Cytopoint for Milo's skin allergies as well as an ear culture do to my pet's severe ear infection. During the visit my pet Milo was never examined. Not temperature, weight nor heartbeat was taken. Even after I mention all the bumps and skin issues my pet has he still wasn't even looked at nor touched. In fact the only time the veterinarian touched him was to take a swab of his ear and then administer the injection. I was a bit confused when the injection was given because of the milky color and small amount of the fluid in the injection. The amount of Cytopoint given depends on the animal's weight, but Milo was never weighed and the amount given what seemed like small. The next day I reached my primary vet in Brooklyn and I was told that my pet would have needed 3 bottles of 30mg, and 1 bottle of 20mg. He did not receive anywhere near that amount during his visit to your clinic. Needless to say the injection of what ever was given did absolutely nothing. Weeks later when the vet from Memorial Drive Animal Clinic finally returned my called I asked him about the injection and he was clueless as to what Cytopoint was or even how to spell it. I was shocked! That's when he told me he gave my dog 6mg of Vetalog, NOT CYTOPOINT! He was completely unapologetic to how he and his staff deceived me into believing I purchased exactly what I asked for. Since then I have emailed several times and have yet to receive a response. I have also called several times and continue to get the run around about getting a refund for the injection and the exam fee, none of which my pet actually received. Read Less

Many animals have died due to the negligence of this veterinarian. Wished I had known he was already on probation with the board when he misdiagnosed a lump in my cats face as being "nothing", when in fact it was cancer. He proceeded to cut the lump out of his face (with no biopsy) and it lead to a grueling recovery with much suffering for my poor cat. Ultimately we lost our precious fur baby because the cancer spread throughout his body. Had there been a proper diagnosis in the first place, he may have been saved.
