I will not bring my animals anywhere else! I have been going to Baystate Animal Clinic for probably 25 years now. They are so wonderful with my animals. Dr. McNamee is hands-down the best Veterinarian...
I will not bring my animals anywhere else! I have been going to Baystate Animal Clinic for probably 25 years now. They are so wonderful with my animals. Dr. McNamee is hands-down the best Veterinarian anybody could ever ask for! He actually cares about the well-being your fur-babies (unlike some other vets that I will not name right now) that are more interested in the $$.My little Joey was diagnosed as a diabetic about 6-7 years ago and I was an absolute disaster. I had so many questions. Dr. McNamee talked me through everything and he didn't make me feel stupid like some of the other vets that I have gone to in the past. He would actually call me on his free time to see how Me and Joey were doing. Sadly my Joey passed away 2 years ago. He was 16 but had a very spoiled life - I miss him terrible but it was his time. Now I have three more cats and just recently adopted a senior chocolate lab (she's 12 now and has some medical issues of her own as well - but I will not give up on her.) I wouldn't recommend anybody else. Thank you Bay State!!! Thank you Dr. MacNamee!!! Here's a smile from Sadie!

These guys used to be amazing.... I originally came to them after extreme disappointment with my previous vet (when my Labrador was but a pup) Borash Vet clinic. He was awful and the vet that welcomed...
These guys used to be amazing.... I originally came to them after extreme disappointment with my previous vet (when my Labrador was but a pup) Borash Vet clinic. He was awful and the vet that welcomed me at bay State was incredible....since then I must admit, it's be constant decline. the latest incidence was a call on my way home to Rhode Island (yes I travel 2 hours each way for them) I was told my pup had tested positive for a tick borne bacterial illness and further testing was NEEDED to discern her status. This was after a $500 annual appt. The cost was merely $85 so I authorized the further testing.... they never called again...with any news. I'm sorry but if you scare me with talk of bacterial illness and then charge me my authorized $85 for further testing, I'm in the very least entitled to a follow up "everythings fine" call.... it's not that much money...but it's worthy of a phone call.... you should be ashamed.

Highly knowledgeable and most importantly, my golden nuggets are happy and healthy. My dogs love to greet him at the door and that speaks volumes of him.i would highly recommended this vet clinic for a care you won't get anywhere else.

Would not recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone that cares about the well being of their pet. Brought my dog for a toe trimming, and they also cleaned his eyes and ears without me giving consent. He is now completely deaf and they are denying any claim that what they gave him had any effect on him. Dogs don't go completely deaf overnight for no reason. They charged me for it too! Do not go to this Vet Clinic even if it is closer than others.

Not having owned a pet for very long, I'm not quite sure what to say about this place other than those observations that surely only touch the surface of this establishment, but here it goes.The location is conveniently located on Route 114, and is easy to get to if you've taken Route 1 to get there. The not so easy part comes when you have to take a left out of their parking lot instead of a right.The waiting area is spare and kind of campy, but I guess that makes sense given the fact that not all dogs and cats are well behaved and won't terrorize an unfamiliar place. They also showcased a kitten that was in need of a home, which I thought was nice. It was easy enough to get an appointment and the woman I spoke with on the phone was very nice. However, when I got to the appointment, albeit 30 minutes early, the woman at the reception desk was kind of stiff, and very choosey about who she would say more than a few words to.My cat was very tense throughout the entire experience, but the vet didn't seem to mind and my cat seemed to calm down by the end, but was still more than happy to get out of there. All in all, I'll definitely go back for the next visit, but there was nothing to make me wax poetic about the place or the experience. There also wasn't anything to send me running to the hills either.

What a great place. We've been bringing my cat here ever since we got him (12 years ago, he was 7 weeks old). The staff are very friendly and gentle but firm when handling the animals. Though my cat is always nervous to go, when he's there they keep him calm so that they can perform the checkup. Highly recommended.

We have been bringing different cats here for years and years and have always been happy with the care. They are excellent clinically and very sensitive as well. We got 2 new shelter cats last year Dr. Solomon has been especially diligent in trying to resolve one of the cat's persistent skin issues.

What a great place. We've been bringing my cat here ever since we got him (12 years ago, he was 7 weeks old). The staff are very friendly and gentle but firm when handling the animals. Though my cat is always nervous to go, when he's there they keep him calm so that they can perform the checkup. Highly recommended.
