Long story short: Dr. Harmon drove to my house to pick up our sick, 130 lb. dog when we we unable to bring him to her. This happened to be after the hospital had already closed and I was also told that a tech was standing by at the hospital to help Dr. Harmon examine our “novi” when he arrived. After conducting all tests and inspections, she dropped him off back at our house that evening with the proper medication and direction needed to get him through his illness. My wife and I were literally speechless.. the service, the understanding, the kindness and care. Brough my buddy cat Ben in after having him for 17 years. He had been quite healthy for almost all of that time but things changed pretty quickly over a several week or so period. This woman has been my vet to my dog and cat for sometime now. In the past year both of them  have had heart problems. When she was gone for vacation the stand in vet saw that both of their notes had something about heart issues that she never brought to our attention. I thought she was a great vet but since having seen other vets I realize she doesn't give enough information to the owner and other vets were actually surprised that she didn't tell me and my family about my pets issues. We had a serious medical emergency and couldn't get the secretary to answer the phone for almost 15 minutes during business hours. She kept putting me on hold even when I begged for her to tell me what to do or where to go. She told me I need to "wait my turn". My dog was just hit by a car. No compassion. But, I learned my lesson-always have the 24 hour emergency vet contact on fridge. Read Less

Our cats hate going to the vet, especially since that is the ONLY place they go when the cat carriers come out of the closet. Dr Harmon and her staff make their visit as painless as possible. One of our cats growls and hisses the entire visit but the vet and staff take it in stride and do their best during the hissy fits. We are very happy with the care given to our cats. Read Less

Dr. Harmon has seen our pets through some difficult times and her compassion for our "fur babies" and us always shines through. She has called us late into the evening to update us on test results or to reassure us that everything is ok.
