VCA Everett Animal Hospital has been serving our community since 2000. We are committed to providing you and your pet with the best customer service and medical knowledge possible. We take pride in the way we care for you and your pet. VCA Everett Animal Hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 2005. Our hospital is regularly evaluated on 900 standards in multiple areas, from client services to anesthetic safety to ensure that we are providing the best care for you and your pets.In addition to dogs and cats, our hospital also sees exotics such as: turtles, bearded dragons, geckos, lizards, snakes, mice, rats, hamsters, ferrets, gerbils, rabbits, sugar gliders, and guinea pigs.

We've taken our pup here for over 10 years. The staff could not be more caring and professional. I was quoted over $2000 for a dental cleaning with a couple of extractions at another vet. It was under $800 at VCA. Dr. Lightbody is excellent. Dr. Berard is a standout. As a pet ages, so health issues can crop up, and Dr. Berard was always right there to squeeze Widget in when necessary and to give us her very best advice, calling on her own time to thoroughly discuss our pet's issues. I liked VCA's CarePlan also, it ended up being well worth it and the folks who administered the plan were easy to deal with. Our dog lived a good, long life up to age 15 and when it was time for the end it was handled with every kindness, tact and empathy. The staff sent a personal card a couple of weeks afterward with warm, kind personal messages from all the staff members who knew our dog personally. It was a total pleasure dealing with VCA Everett and the entire staff. I can't say enough good things about them.

I recently brought my dog here because he had diarrhea and a lose of appetite. Rather than checking for parasites we went right into giving him x-rays and other expensive tests. The vet believed that the dog had Addison's disease based on blood work and when the results came back negative they suggested the dog get an ultrasound. When I asked if it could be a parasite they said it would be highly unlikely. They never tested his stool because they said it was too watery. So we ended up spending close to $5,000 dollars to find out if they had done the stool sample right away the dog had worms. When they sent the paperwork to the hospital the VCA indicated that they did a stool sample. It wasn't until the hospital asked me when they went to check the results and couldn't find them that they realized they never did the test. The hospital had no issues testing his watery poop and confirmed he had 2 types of worms. We also had several issues of miscommunication where I was told different information than my husband. They are awful and I would never go back!

It looked like a very clean and organized practice however, I walked in with my puppy for the first time (First time pet owner) thinking that I could walk in without appointment, the front desk lady told me that I had to make an appointment beforehand, WHICH I UNDERSTAND... what I disliked was that she didn’t even bother to asking me if I wanted to make an appointment right there on the spot for another day, she was pretty rude and I did not feel welcomed, It was not her day....

The doctors, tech's and staff are very competent, caring, attentive, loving to all the animals and sympathetic and understanding when the time comes for your beloved pet to crossed over Rainbow Bridge. I used to go to the VCA in Brookline until I moved, and was glad to see there was a VCA in Everett (I live in Malden). It's not as nice as the one in Brookline but I've definitely seen worse. The staff are friendly and caring, the veterinarian I bring my cat to always has his well-being in mind. They are offer VetSource Home Delivery for prescription food and medications, which is nice because you can control the autoship features of your food and not have to deal with finding a prescription every time you go out to pick up your pet's food. They have a parking lot and will let you take your cat out of its carrier if it's on a harness and you feel comfortable with it. My cat is pretty curious so I always bring his harness and leash and let him poke around :)

They're extremely nice and caring here. My dog had given birth to a litter of 4 puppies and 3 weeks later she got this REALLY bad infection in her mammary gland. We called and we explained that since it happened so suddenly we didn't have much money at that exact moment but she had to be seen ASAP, so they helped us out and gave us a discount and said we could come back to finish paying. They were able to see my dog, diagnose the infection, give her antibiotics, a cone, and pain medication. They were overall just SO nice, at one point my dog had peed on the towel she was wrapped in, so they gave me a brand new clean one! Everyone who was working there was so generous. Honestly if it wasn't for them, my dog would be dead. Not even exaggerating.

I love the place their very attentive to my pets needs. When theirs an emergency with any of my dogs their are very quick to help me. They understand my needs and they are very helpful when you're a low income family. They make sure that you understand all the procedures and they listen to you and answer all your questions. They doctors and nurses are so loving and patience always with a smile. You feel at home. I could call any given day for the smallest thing and they always are cheerful and ready to help me.

I love the place their very attentive to my pets needs. When theirs an emergency with any of my dogs their are very quick to help me. They understand my needs and they are very helpful when you're a low income family. They make sure that you understand all the procedures and they listen to you and answer all your questions. They doctors and nurses are so loving and patience always with a smile. You feel at home. I could call any given day for the smallest thing and they always are cheerful and ready to help me.

We took our cat to VCA Everett and had a very nice experience! The waiting room was clean and calming for the pets and their administrative staff was helpful and gracious. The technician who took vitals, weight, etc was gentle and calm, in addition to the veterinarian (Dr. Lightbody) who was careful and gentle with our timid cat. She took her time with us and made sure to answer all of our questions and address all of our concerns, which we very much appreciated. I also liked that they had all of their exam and vaccine fees available in each waiting room, and we were willing to draw up fair quotes for specialized procedures. We felt that their prices were very fair considering the area - in fact, we brought our cat to VCA Brookline last year and felt that they were higher priced and not up front about their prices or procedures (I was quoted $600 to clean the cat's teeth!). All in all, going to VCA Everett was a wonderful practice and I look forward to going back routinely.

I have been taking my fuzzy one to this place for years--despite the fact that I have moved further up the North Shore and it is now a bit of a drive to get there we remain loyal clients. The front desk staff are knowledgeable, patient, and responsive. The veterinary technicians we have encountered similarly have been uniformly warm and proactive in managing my dog's care. As she has progressed well into her teens now, I feel like my "senior pet" is getting comprehensive and compassionate care at the VCA in Everett. She never qualms at getting into the car to go there as she knows that she will be treated gently and well.

We've taken our pup here for over 10 years. The staff could not be more caring and professional. I was quoted over $2000 for a dental cleaning with a couple of extractions at another vet. I recently brought my dog here because he had diarrhea and a lose of appetite. Rather than checking for parasites we went right into giving him x-rays and other expensive tests. I used to go to the VCA in Brookline until I moved, and was glad to see there was a VCA in Everett (I live in Malden). It's not as nice as the one in Brookline but I've definitely seen worse. The staff are friendly and caring, the veterinarian I bring my cat to always has his well-being in mind. They are offer VetSource Home Delivery for prescription food and medications, which is nice because you can control the autoship features of your food and not have to deal with finding a prescription every time you go out to pick up your pet's food. They're extremely nice and caring here. My dog had given birth to a litter of 4 puppies and 3 weeks later she got this REALLY bad infection in her mammary gland. We took our cat to VCA Everett and had a very nice experience! The waiting room was clean and calming for the pets and their administrative staff was helpful and gracious. The technician who took vitals, weight, etc was gentle and calm, in addition to the veterinarian (Dr. Lightbody) who was careful and gentle with our timid cat.
