It's their way or the highway, they do not listen to their clients, and possibly have their own made up policies that actually put animals in danger. Guess what? When someone tells you that they have a difficult animal, but they have an extraordinary calming effect on him, HOW ABOUT YOU LISTEN TO THEM???!!!! I have not been feeling good about them for the last few visits I've had there, but this last one almost killed my cat and I am FURIOUS. I am officially disgusted beyond belief with their whole operation. Dr. Best certainly took the quality of care with him when he left! I'll work on getting the name of the specific vet who saw my cat the other day and will add it later. She took my cat to another room, not listening to me at all that it's best if I'm with him, I have NO IDEA what she did, but the cat was injured AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME. Even if there was a struggle (which there WOULD NOT HAVE HAD SHE LISTENED AND HAD ME THERE), she didn't bother to mention it, that he may be injured and to watch out for it (any licking of the area). And what do you know, I go to a much better local vet, they actually listen to me and let me keep him calm, and guess what? THE APPOINTMENT WAS SMOOTH AS CAN BE! My cat almost died from the massive infection he got from his injury at Foxboro. I also had blood tests done at Foxboro because there is a developing issue of either kidney or pancreas issues, and when they were asked to send the records to the new (wonderful) vets office, they never included the actual test results (WHICH I PAID FOR!), just the crappy notes on their (mixed) diagnoses, which were barely legible, and most were not legible at all. About those mixed diagnoses - the first crappy vet wasn't in the next day after I got the tests, so I get calls from two others there who looked at the records - one brushes it off as early stages kidney disease, treat with diet. The other says possibly pancreas, AND THAT IS AN OPPOSITE DIET WHICH WOULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO KIDNEY DISEASE. I don't trust them one bit, never will again. I finally got the numbers on the test results, after giving them a piece of my mind, and letting them know that if they didn't send them, I would be paying them a visit, and it would not go well. I have been going to Foxboro animal hospital sine the Dr.Best days. I was worried when he retired that my pets would not get the same level of care. But I had nothing to worry about. Every single experience I have had has been excellent. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Crosier. She is wonderful and thorough and caring. I trust her completely with my dog's care. Excellent caring vets and reasonable prices. My daughter-in-law just switched over from a different vet, because the attention to her dog was not what it should be and she was being charged almost double what I was for the same services. I would recommend Foxboro Animal Hospital very highly. Read Less

I can't say enough great things about my experiences at Foxboro Animal Hospital. Every vet and tech who I've brought my dog to there has been great at diagnosing and providing treatment. The techs are fantastic and welcoming. To top it all off my bill has never exceeded my estimate and they do not over inflate the price of the products they sell...which are at a similar price that you would find from major retailers (chewy.com/Amazon). They are very considerate of appointment fees as well. For instance if you call looking for an emergency visit they will consider the symptoms you describe and offer a tech visit which is far less expensive. I also have never had to wait more than 10 min to be seen. Overall this is a fantastic practice with friendly, caring employees! I go 25 min out of my way to stay with this practice because I know the top notch quality of service my dog will receive. Highly recommend FAH. Read Less

Front desk can have some confusion (I bought a bag of specialty dietary food for my cat and they gave the the one for dogs), but overall friendly staff. I have been going to Foxboro Animal Hospital for years and have received nothing but top quality healthcare for my animals. Through all the routine vet care and all emergencies we have had they have treated my babies with care and compassion only found at a place where everyone working there truly loves animals. I love all of the vets there, but Dr Read is the vet we see most often and she is amazing. She has such an awesome way with animals and is so warm that it honestly seems like my cat likes to go and see her. She is also a very capable and knowledgable vet and I truly feel secure in knowing that my animals get the best care with her. One of my cats is immune compromised and goes in every month for blood work. Not only is Dr Read amazing with my pets but all the vet techs are too. They go out of their way to make sure my animals are comfortable and happy. I have been taking my pets ( 2 dogs and 3 cats) to Foxboro Animal Hospital for approximately 18 years and have been consistently impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the doctors and staff. I recently lost my beloved 15 year old lab and the staff of Foxboro Animal Hospital was so empathic, gentle and kind during such a difficult period. We were allowed to spend as much time as we wanted with our dog during his final moments and later received a sympathy card from the staff! I love Foxboro. I'm new to the practice and bring all my dogs and cats here! I love that they do in-house blood work here and carry all supplies. They always seem to be able to accommodate an appointment for me when I need one and the vets are caring and responsible. The prices are reasonable as well considering I have a diabetic cat and a monthly appointment for a dog with Addison's disease! Very happy here. Read Less

I just want to take a minute to share my experience with Foxboro Animal Hospital my Chuhahia ended up getting a ruptured anal gland and I rushed him there in the morning he was seen and treated very quickly this was the first time I had taken this Chuhahia to them as i live in Quincy but not the first time I've been there I had previously taken my other Chuhahia there for an infected gland in his throat I've been to a couple different animal hospitals and have to say these people are the best not overpriced and really care about your animal dogs or cats I felt with a veterinarian whose name escapes me and a veterinarian tech named Meghan they both were amazing and kind I'd recommend this place to anyone who loves there animals because this place goes above and beyond it's never a good feeling having to go to the hospital with your animals but they make it easier thanks so much to them for the great services they provide so if a problem with your pet comes up take them here you'll be treated great thanks again keep up the great workRead Less

Took my pup here yesterday for the first time and I couldn't be happier. Our last Vet would never be able to do a full check up on my dog b/c he would get so anxious and worked up about being in the Vet office. This office knew how to handle my dog and keep him calm enough for a check up, shots and even a nail trim which usually is impossible! They also didn't do a bunch of unnecessary work on my dog like my last Vet use to do. The Doc and the technician were on time, precise, honest and very good with my dog. I've been to vets in the past that immediately want to muzzle my friendly guys because of the breed but have never had that happen here! Prices are affordable and the staff is so nice! I'm always nervous when I change my dogs vet. My dog does not accept change well. He is very nervous around new people so having the same vet each time is important. Leaving our old office was extremely hard for us but after some referrals we decided to give Foxboro Animal Hospital a try. It is two minutes down the road from us so that's a huge plus! We like it just fine. It's been a positive change. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because they don't call and see how my guy is doing after a sick visit and that is a little disappointing. All of my other vets have done this, regardless of the size of the office. Getting that phone call always made me feel like my dog is valued and cared for. Other than that, a great office. Read Less

I have no doubts that this facility takes good care of animals. However, the service is less than satisfactory. After my cat was in for treatment all day, we had to take him back for being unresponsive. Not only were the staff hard to deal with on the phone, but when I went in they were rude as well. The woman at the front desk didn't seem to understand that I wanted to be with my cat when they took him in. Through my confusion at her responses, she said "I don't know why you have to be so-". She didn't have to finish for me to understand her lack of empathy. If you have a pet that's sick, and you live in the area, I highly recommend going to Tufts in Walpole instead. From my experience, they exude more care and compassion than that at Foxboro Animal Hospital. Regardless of cost differences, I don't think I'll use their services again. I'd rather pay more for the sufficient care and courtesy at Tufts. Read Less

This office is horrible! The front staff are rude and uncaring in fact, I don't think any of them even know how to smile!I brought my cat there for an ultrasound and they told me to bring her in at 11:00 AM. They never bothered to tell me the ultrasound tech makes his own hours and can show up any time between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM! I called them twice during the day to check on her progress and by 3:15 PM, the Ultrasound tech had still not arrived. I arrived at 4:15 PM on my drive home from work to pick her up and they asked me if anyone called me to pick her up. I told them no and then they ask me "well why is she here"? Seriously?? I told them she was there for an ultrasound and the front desk girl said "Oh, you're the one I talked to on the phone... Yeah, he never showed up today". I told them how inappropriate this was and how my time was wasted, even more so, my poor cat stayed there all afternoon in a cage! I told them to have the MD call me, and as you can imagine, I never got a return phone call. I will never go back to this vet again. They clearly do not care about you or your pet! Read Less

We have been taking my dog here for the last ten years- this is the only vet office she has ever been to. Regardless of how long we have been coming here the front desk has never been able to find her in the system- by her name, my name, our phone number address, etc. Not a single time have they found her without searching and repeatedly asking the same questions over and over again. The front desk staff is rude, abrupt, and frequently overheard speaking badly about other customers while in earshot. They are a terrible representation of a nice veterinarian. The doctor is kind and thorough but not worth the long wait in a small, dirty, and old waiting room listening to the desk staff's inappropriate babble. They are less than accommodating and refuse to acknowledge your presence while you politely wait at the desk to check in or out. I have since found a new vet and will never look back. Read Less

I'm only giving this place 2 stars b/c I think the Dr is good. However, when we have an appointment booked for a certain time and animals come in with emergencies, I understand that our appointment will get pushed back. What I don't understand is how the staff can't be attentive enough to say that now we won't be seen for an hour and give us the option of waiting or rescheduling. I didn't have an hour to waste. And when I finally spoke up and just simply asked how much longer it would take, I think they realized that they poorly misjudged the situation and kept us waiting for no good reason. Once we were finally seen it was a five minute appointment  cause all my dog needed was a shot. Never again. From now on, I'll go somewhere that's a little more organized and attentive to their clientele. Read Less

They treat your pets like their own and return calls and willing to spend time with you on the phone you never feel rushed. Last Saturday I noticed my dog had something wrong with his eye. It was red and swollen and he had some discharge coming from it. I googled it and everything online said that eye injuries or infections should be treated very seriously or they could lead to blindness or loss of the eye. I immediately called our vet, Foxboro Animal Hospital. The line was busy. I repeatedly called back for about 45 minutes. At that point I was frustrated and worried for my dog so I put him in the car and drove down there. When I walked in there was a woman standing at the desk and I noticed that the phone was off the hook sitting on the counter. I explained the situation to this woman who informed me that there was nothing they could do for me. She said they were all booked so they couldn't see my dog. I asked for any suggestions or medications that would help. She left for less than a minute to talk to a doctor and came back and told me again that they couldn't help me. He'd have to see a doctor, she said and they were all too busy.   I was not referred to an emergency vet or given any other suggestions. I then told her that I thought it was a very rude practice that they would just leave the phone off the hook when they didn't feel like talking to anyone. She rudely responded that she needed to have a lunch break. Saying that to a teacher who rarely has more than 15 minutes to eat my lunch really upset me even more.  I reminded her that they had patients other than the ones in the office that day, and then left to try to find somewhere that would see my dog. Luckily I was able to find a wonderful vet who agreed to see my dog that day after hours because they cared about my dog and his well being. We will not be returning to Foxboro Animal Hospital. We've been using Foxboro Animal Hospital for over 10 years with our 2 labs. Although we are happy with the service, the wait times have become unacceptable.  My last visit here I had to wait 50 minutes before going into an exam rooms and the previous time the wait was 40 minutes.  Waiting 50 minutes for an 11AM appointment is ridiculous and unacceptable. I would not take my dogs anywhere else! They rock at F.A.H. They treat all their patients like their own pets. You don't have to take out a second mortgage to pay for keeping your babies healthy.
