Dr. Malik has been our family’s vet since 2007. He is absolutely phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. His prices are very fair and much more reasonable than Wachusett. I wouldn’t trust anyone other...
Dr. Malik has been our family’s vet since 2007. He is absolutely phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. His prices are very fair and much more reasonable than Wachusett. I wouldn’t trust anyone other than him with my precious fur babies.

I couldn't be more happy with the treatment my dogs have had at BAH. The head vet there has some help from time to time but for the most part its just him running the show. For that reason he's moderately priced but he's got the experience and knowledge enough to know the real facts... not give you a million useless medications... shoot sometimes he just recommends lifestyle changes instead of pills when he could easily have given my dogs tons more drugs. I have 4 pooches - I trust all of them to BAH. All of them have ailments, allergies, aging issues and previous medical mysteries I am still figuring out as they are rescues with little to no record of such.He gives you the fair answer - not the ones you want to hear so you'll whip out the checkbook. He gives each dog undivided attention and care should you have multiple pets. Easy to get him on the phone - even when he is with a client, he answers! That may be annoying for some - but go in with the understanding he does Most if not all himself! He still writes notes/records/scrips literally BY HAND. No automation other than a credit card processing machine, fax machine and a tiny little radio from 1986 that cranks out the tunes in the hazy background.Good with animals for sure with the experience to boot. He helped both of my bigger dogs with skin issues... no harsh steroids needed. Gave my older pup a good antibiotic instead of costly heart/chest exams that could have been upwards of $2000. Everything he recommended for my dogs has worked as long as I go follow the regimen. Now my dogs all know the place they are actually pretty comfortable there. I take them there for all of their vaccinations and yearly check ups without hesitation. He always asks me to call and let him know how they are doing and he even adjusts the meds dosage if its working to reduce their intake.. I love it. Worth the ride if its not an emergency and its not too far for you to get out here and get the medical attention your animal deserves!

I am happy to bring my cat to Dr. Malik. He is very patient with my pet, and takes the extra time when he is stressed out or not feeling well. He makes sure I understand what is going on and what do to for my cat. I think it's great that when I call he answers the phone most of the time!! Thanks for great care, Dr. Malik!

I am appalled that so many reviewers are discussing a man they have only known through a single television segment. My family has never taken an animal anywhere else. What happened was tragic, obviously, but had nothing to do with Dr. Malik's ability, compassion, or knowledge. To judge him based on something he never meant to do, and was horrified at doing, is appalling.
UPDATE - I recently adopted a kitten, and took him to Dr. Malik for his shots and deworming. Never felt better about a choice. Dr. Malik was kind, and patient, and explained everything clearly. My kitten has pretty nasty ear mites, and Dr. Malik explained how I could get rid of them, and made sure I understood what medications he was giving my kitten. The visit, all 4 shots, and the medication was 110 dollars. Very, very economical, and very great care. Not only that, he was very adjustable - I requested a time window for arrival, and they accommodated and took me immediately. As I was leaving, a man came in with an apparently slightly aggressive dog. They had cleared off the calendar during the time the dog would be here - meaning they would make less money by rejecting appointments - so that this dog could have a relaxing time, and not feel threatened by other animals or people. Putting the pet before the money.

I would not take a rat to this so called VET He kills cats when they come in for flea bath It is all over the news and internet and in 2005 he got in trouble also close this place take his licence...

Any veterinarian who kills a pet because of paperwork should not have a practice. I am appalled at Broadway Animal Hospital's killing of a healthy cat. The cat comes in for a flea bath and gets killed...
Any veterinarian who kills a pet because of paperwork should not have a practice. I am appalled at Broadway Animal Hospital's killing of a healthy cat. The cat comes in for a flea bath and gets killed instead. What kind of irresponsible uncaring office people work at this clinic?? What kind of training is given to them by Dr. Malik?? Well, I see it's pretty bad training if at all. I would never recommend taking your pet to this clinic. There's a good chance your pet will come back dead.
