By far the best veterinary clinic ever! Dr. Barlow and her staff are so kind and thorough, while making you feel comfortable the entire time. Prices are reasonable and the staff communicates well. Special shout out to all the veterinary assistants who treat you like family. When my dog had surgery they sat with him until he was out of anesthesia and gave me a play by play of his recovery, and how he reacted throughout treatment. I would often receive phone calls from them to check on him during the recovery process. The nicest humans ever.It's definitely a townie vibe being it's a restored home but I love it. Other people who walk in the door strike up conversation; usually you have nice company in the waiting room. Overall, there is a sense of community here versus just being another patient without a name.

The Dr. and staff was very caring and compassionate with us and our dog. Their prices are extremely reasonable vs. other vets in the area.

I've been going to Waters Edge for several years. It all started when my vet, at that time, quoted me some outrageous price for a routine procedure on my dog. My sister recommended Waters Edge and the procedure was half the price and the service was great. I have been going there ever since and recommending them to all my friends. Peggy is a caring veterinarian and her staff is wonderful. As with all things, life and age goes on. Today, after many days of deliberation, I had to put my companion of almost 15 years down. It was not an easy decision but in due respect to my suffering pup it was the right one. Right or wrong the emotions were overwhelming, Peg and her staff were were extremely sensitive and caring in providing this service, not only to my pup but also to me. God Bless!

I am a self proclaimed antivet. I have had terrible experiences with every one I've ever been to. I don't trust them, don't like the way they lay guilt trips on me and don't like feeling disrespected by them. All that changed yesterday. My dog was hurt and I needed to have him looked at. I chose to go there because it was close to home and they had an opening.The staff was friendly and accommodating. And Dr Barlow spoke to ME with compassion, understanding and personality. She has a no beating around the bush attitude and for the first time ever I left a vet feeling like I had gotten something more than an empty wallet.There's no question in my mind that I have found my vet!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Waters Edge this time. I have been going there since I got my puppy and they were usually great. However, today I went in and was barely acknowledged way past the start time of my appointment. The doctor came in and was super friendly to the dog which was nice, but then just kind of spat information at me for what he needs to help his Lyme disease. I really wasn't sure on what exactly everything meant and how necessary it all was, seeing as I am not a doctor. Then another doctor just walked in and goes so that will be "350 dollars" and that I can deny it if I want. Of course I denied it because I felt very attacked. I know that these doctors know how to make my dog feel comfortable, but they have no clue how to make me, the dog's primary caretaker, feel comfortable in getting the care he needs. I also understand that that price is probably standard, so I will be paying for it at another vet.

We have been seeing Dr. Barlow for 5 years now for our 2 labs. She is a wonderful vet and really knows her stuff. Doesn't try to run a million tests and up the bill - only does what is necessary and then goes from there. She saved our lab at 4 - she had sarcoma in her mouth and Dr. Barlow did a wonderful job of treating her (and bringing in a surgeon for the complex surgeries). We absolutely love Water's Edge and recommend it to any of our friends!

Dr. Barlow, Kerry, Pat and all the staff at Water's Edge are absolutely fabulous! They've been there for my furry family through thick and thin, and after being an extremely satisfied customer for 10 years and counting, I wouldn't think of trusting anyone else in the care of my pets. Honest! With three dogs (and two others they have cared for in the past), you can bet I've had plenty of experience with this office, to say the least. In my experience, they have always been extremely caring, dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to make ensure my pets are as happy and healthy as possible. In this day and age, it's rather difficult to find a vet you can trust in the well-being of your pet without the bottom line guiding their suggestions. Dr. Barlow is thorough, informed and to the point when it comes to diagnosing illness. Her bedside manner is unmatched. She doesn't try to suggest all sorts of unnecessary testing or procedures prior to sending you to the proper specialist, nor does she simply dismiss a health concern that cannot be immediately diagnosed. She is diligent in researching unusual conditions and is always determined to find the answer your pets depend on. As a pet care professional by trade, I 'm constantly referring my clients to this office. Why? Because I'm confident they are truly passionate about what they do and it's clear that they care about their clients. I know my clients' pets will be in dependable hands. Simply put, I trust Water's Edge. They are the BEST!

The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, truly compassionate and very friendly. Like another reviewer mentioned previously, you are not a number here. In fact, when visiting the office to attend one of my three dogs' needs, I honestly feel as though I am visiting extended family. They are THAT good! Dr. Barlow and her staff members have consistently offered my pets affordable, high quality pet care with a personalized touch. Give them a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

I have been going to Dr Barlow for the past 10 years. She is a TERRIFFIC vet, that has a great bedside manner for both the furbabies and their "parents". That is a rare talent with many pet professionals. All of my furbabies are always excited to go see "Dr Peggy", they waggle their little butts the entire time they are in the waiting room, they can't wait to see her! Unfortunately all of our visits have not been happy ones, but it makes it easier when your vet has the kindness and compassion to help your baby transition into peacefulness with dignity. She is a wonderful person that truly cares about her patients. I wish that there were more vets like her! She is truly a gift!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Waters Edge this time. I have been going there since I got my puppy and they were usually great. However, today I went in and was barely acknowledged way past the start time of my appointment. The doctor came in and was super friendly to the dog which was nice, but then just kind of spat information at me for what he needs to help his Lyme disease. I really wasn't sure on what exactly everything meant and how necessary it all was, seeing as I am not a doctor. Then another doctor just walked in and goes so that will be "350 dollars" and that I can deny it if I want. Of course I denied it because I felt very attacked. I know that these doctors know how to make my dog feel comfortable, but they have no clue how to make me, the dog's primary caretaker, feel comfortable in getting the care he needs. I also understand that that price is probably standard, so I will be paying for it at another vet.

We have been seeing Dr. Barlow for 5 years now for our 2 labs. She is a wonderful vet and really knows her stuff. Doesn't try to run a million tests and up the bill - only does what is necessary and then goes from there. She saved our lab at 4 - she had sarcoma in her mouth and Dr. Barlow did a wonderful job of treating her (and bringing in a surgeon for the complex surgeries). We absolutely love Water's Edge and recommend it to any of our friends!

Dr. Barlow, Kerry, Pat and all the staff at Water's Edge are absolutely fabulous! They've been there for my furry family through thick and thin, and after being an extremely satisfied customer for 10 years and counting, I wouldn't think of trusting anyone else in the care of my pets. Honest! With three dogs (and two others they have cared for in the past), you can bet I've had plenty of experience with this office, to say the least. In my experience, they have always been extremely caring, dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to make ensure my pets are as happy and healthy as possible. In this day and age, it's rather difficult to find a vet you can trust in the well-being of your pet without the bottom line guiding their suggestions. Dr. Barlow is thorough, informed and to the point when it comes to diagnosing illness. Her bedside manner is unmatched. She doesn't try to suggest all sorts of unnecessary testing or procedures prior to sending you to the proper specialist, nor does she simply dismiss a health concern that cannot be immediately diagnosed. She is diligent in researching unusual conditions and is always determined to find the answer your pets depend on. As a pet care professional by trade, I 'm constantly referring my clients to this office. Why? Because I'm confident they are truly passionate about what they do and it's clear that they care about their clients. I know my clients' pets will be in dependable hands. Simply put, I trust Water's Edge. They are the BEST!

My family has been going to Dr. Barlow for well over 10 years now and we wouldn't trust the care of our pets to anyone else. The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, truly compassionate and very friendly. Like another reviewer mentioned previously, you are not a number here. In fact, when visiting the office to attend one of my three dogs' needs, I honestly feel as though I am visiting extended family. They are THAT good! Dr. Barlow and her staff members have consistently offered my pets affordable, high quality pet care with a personalized touch. Give them a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

I have been going to Dr Barlow for the past 10 years. She is a TERRIFFIC vet, that has a great bedside manner for both the furbabies and their "parents". That is a rare talent with many pet professionals. All of my furbabies are always excited to go see "Dr Peggy", they waggle their little butts the entire time they are in the waiting room, they can't wait to see her! Unfortunately all of our visits have not been happy ones, but it makes it easier when your vet has the kindness and compassion to help your baby transition into peacefulness with dignity. She is a wonderful person that truly cares about her patients. I wish that there were more vets like her! She is truly a gift!
