A kind, friendly staff and a team of great vets. They've cared for a couple generations of our family's pets. Our pets all like (or, you know, aren't *terrified* of) Dr Watkins, but all the vets have a great, warm, gentle manner. They also offer health payment plans with different included services. Everyone that works here is super compassionate. They make everything easy and comfortable for you and your pet. My kitty hates going there, but everyone takes his little swipes with stride. No one has ever lost their patience with him, which makes me feel better about bringing him. I've been going here for years. Dr Gatti is great with my cat. She is very knowledgable, diligent, and compassionate. She even shaved the hair knots/matts off the cat for free. This is a bit of a drive from where I live, but it's worth it. Read Less

My cat wasn't eating for over two so I brought her here. The nurses and the vet were very attentive, careful, and friendly with her. After examining her physically they did some blood work and put some hydration gel under her skin because she was dehydrated. As soon as I got home she ate all of her food and drank a bunch of water. This is the best vet practice I have been to.  After finding them I have been with them for about 20 years. They are very caring and thorough.  The health plans they offer give you an affordable way to pay, with a discounted rate.  They offer ultrasound and some other services that not all vets have.  They have great hours, evening and Saturdays.  You can't beat Valley Vet. I switched my Corgi's care here and now also my senior cat.  Dr. Spiegel is wonderful as is the rest of the staff.  My dog has boarded there and the care is absolutely superb!  When I needed an emergency visit to a Chicopee vet on a Saturday, they couldn't see him.  Because I boarded my dog at Valley Vet they had all his medical records and saw him immediately. I switched the dog's service to them. Their wellness plan saves you money. The Pet Portal is wonderful. It's so easy to keep track of your pet[s] vaccinations and it also lets you make your pet visits online.  They also offer discounts on pet medication and you can order refills online.  I am totally impressed with their online service. Also the staff handle phone-calls and emails efficiently.As for the person who gave this establishment a 1-star review, that is totally uncalled for.  No one is going to administer vet care to a pet for free or a negotiated price.  The complainers situation is sad, indeed.  But, having a pet is in many ways like having a child.  If you can't support the care of a pet, then you shouldn't have one. Caring, professional animal hospital! Dr. Diamond and staff are top-notch. Always on the forefront with new treatments and protocol. I wish we still lived in the area so I knew my dog and cat were in the best care. The staff explains instructions throughly and they always follow up to check on the patient. My dog was having anxiety traveling and this office helped me find a treatment to help our pet make the move to the Midwest comfortably. Clean, kind, $$$, offers basic, more advanced medical care for our 3 cats and dog. Great scheduling options. Valley Inn For Pets is the same building, different internal door. Everything from basic to "spa destination packages" with fun walls and even TVs if that's what you do. Beautifully clean operation, very reasonable accommodations considering some of the disgusting conditions of other local kennels. This is boarding. They took my Corgi Buster on a Saturday morning due to an emergency. Buster has boarded there before. My regular vet clinic had no vets available on a Saturday. Dr. Speigel was fantastic. Plan on keeping Buster here for all his physicals and concerns! Read Less

We have had ann outrageous experience with this Veterinary practice and not in a good way! After spending thousands of dollars on our pet this past year. I did a little research and found out that we were financially gouged by people Who allegedly care about people,'s pets. They have the audacity to charge $6.00 for a pill( bay trail) which costs $1.23 from pet meds.com. They also charged $39.00 for an 8 lb. bag of dog food which can be purchased for $73.00 for 28 lbs. So much for caring about pets. Even worse was the lame explanation that there is a short shelf life for the meds in the days of overnight shipping. I would never and I mean never recommend this vet to anyone, in fact I will go out of my way to keep potential pets from this gouger. Read Less

This is a wonderful practice of caring doctors.  I see Dr. Noel Watkins, and she is a very caring person!!  But even when Dr. Watkins isn't in, my dog gets wonderful care from the other vets.  I highly recommend this place.  Someone who has never even come to the practice has given it 1star.  Not fair.  Also, you cannot judge a vet practice over what is said by people at the front desk. I lost my job recently due to an injury on the job and have a low income. Since then my cat has gotten sick and I've contacted several vet offices seeking help for him and none have been sympathetic or compassionate about his pain or suffering and are only concerned about their bottom line, including this place here. When I called today to ask for referrals to a possible place for my cat to go or to get info on their sponsorship program for people with low income that they talk about on their website I was offered to apply for a credit card - really? You want to put me into debt while caring for a suffering cat? Good job there! When I explained further i got the cost of the exam saying it was $51 and that I could make an appointment and I could discus my cat's needs and I got an apology. A least the receptionist said she was sorry for basically not caring that my cat's probably going to die. Thanks for nothing. :( Read Less

Brought my cat here today because I read they have a lot of experience with pet allergies and skin conditions. We were taken right away when we arrived. Everyone was really nice and professional. They even use computers in the exam rooms like the one my doctor uses. Dr. Joe is very nice and funny and he took his time with us. He offered other options our previous vet didn't. Went back again and everyone was nice as ever. Really great place.  The one star review is completely unfounded and is nothing like the service I received. Read Less

I've been bringing my pug here since he was just a pup.  I have always been extremely pleased with the level of service and professionalism that all employees offer.  The vet techs even follow up with phone calls if your pet has an issue that they prescribed medicine for.  I have gone to many different veterinary offices and this place is TOP NOTCH! This vet is the best! Not only do they have a boarding kennel built into the hospital, but their services are always reasonably priced. You can request a vet tech for certain shots and procedures, and pay significantly less than for a full-blown visit. The vets are always friendly and knowledgeable, and will take the time to answer your questions. Read Less
