We have been with Dr Kara and her father for around 20 years. we have enjoyed the good and the bad and have found every one at the hospital to be caring and considerate. all have gone the extra mile including sympathy cards, arrangements and care second to none. my wife and I have had in the neigborhood of 15 pets taken care of by dr. We've been going to Holbrook Animal Hospital for 7 years now. It was first recommended to us by a friend who lives in Abington. We absolutely love doctor Kara. She has such a calm and demeanor that really puts both our cat and dog at ease. Once, when we had to take our dog to an emergency 24-hour vet during the night, doctor Kara called the very next day simply to check in see how Freya was doing. It's that kind of personal attention that sets them apart. Our former vet never did that!I should also mention that I've also found Holbrook Animal Hospital to be very accommodating when we need to schedule an appointments or even if you need to drop by and pick up heartworm meds. I have been taking my pets to Holbrook Animal Hospital for 30+ years. When I was younger, I would go with my father to visit Dr. Peter Bassignani with numerous pets who all lived long, healthy lives. I now travel more than 20 miles to get to HAH because I trust the care they provide. I highly recommend Dr. Kara Bassignani and her staff. Dr. Kara has cared for many of my pets in the past. Kara is a phenomenal vet.  Professionalism at it's very best.  She has a quiet manor, and may not come off very personal.  I wish she was more upbeat with the dogs, but it is what it is. The downfall of this place is that it is extremely expensive.  Overall, a great place, if you can afford.  Taking my new puppy to Abington animal hospital.  The prices are so affordable. Read Less

Unorganized and impersonal.  The first visit we brought a stray cat in to get checked.  The vet was very cold and rushy, didn't even introduce herself until AFTER the exam.  They were so quick they didn't even notice the stray had a upper respiratory infection, which now our other cats are being treated for. I was willing to overlook this.  But then we had an appointment for our new cat's booster for TODAY, and we get in and they claim we had no appointment!  WE EVEN HAD THE SILLY STICKER CARD THEY GAVE US WITH THE APPOINTMENT ON IT WRITTEN FOR TODAY!  The only reason I am giving them a 2 instead of a 1 is because despite THEIR mistake, they gave our cat the booster shot anyways.  No apology was exchanged for the missing appointment though.  Never going here again!!!!
