Everyone here is very kind and the care and concern is genuine. They do cremations as well, in case you're looking. This is my North shore vet and I appreciate how much effort they put into each visit - you do not feel like a number. If I need something out of thr box, or am very concerned about something serious, I go into Boston where there are specialists. But for every day care, I am happy to have found this place. Read Less

I have been bringing my animals to SRH for over 35 years.  They have treated 4 cats, 5 dogs and 12 horses over the years.  Their care and personal concern for the welfare of the animals has kept me coming back for all of these years.  One horse had blood work "inconsistent with life" and thanks to Dr. Bob and Dr. Noble that horse made a full recovery after days of constant visits and treatments from each of them.  Dr Noble was the first person I called when I rescued three 6 month old foals.  SRH has looked after all of them and not one has had an issue other than a leg strain.  None of my dogs have ever been sick and their wellness visit ensures that.  One of my cats was diagnosed at Bulgar Animal Hospital (it was a holiday so I had to go there).  First he was diagnosed with a hair ball stuck in his throat.  That cost me $4500.  The second episode of "choking" also occurred on a holiday and that time Bulgar said he had a growth in his throat and needed surgery.  The second visit cost was $3500.  I took the cat to see Dr. Noble and she could see no growth on the scans.  He had serous heart disease and he was still alive after 3 years thanks to Dr. Noble.  The bill was the cost of an office visit. The doctors at SRH are rich in resources and skills and bring years of practical applications and a common sense approach to any animal situation. The have the top of the line technical equipment and cutting edge knowledge. They are highly respected by their peers and animal owners alike. STAY AWAY!!! We used to take our dog here because it's close to home. We spent well over $1,000 to diagnose our dogs ongoing urination problem - that they could not diagnose after all the tests, day stays, and an absurd amount of money. They want more tests (and more money) to diagnose the problem further. I refused to spend anymore money so I went elsewhere. Within one visit to Ipswich Animal Hospital, our dog is getting some medical treatment but it's probably too late now (he had more blood than actual urine in his urine and in the mid/late stages of kidney failure). I would never bring my animals to SRH again. Read Less

I have a rescue 2 year old that had been having issues with her hind leg/hips since almost the day she turned one. Our previous vet didnt even notice that she had issues walking and certainly kept drawing out and trying useless things to try to no avail. In the meantime my poor dog was obviously in pain. When I mentioned this to my groomer she recommended SRH. I called them and they were able to fit me in that day knowing I was desperate to get her help. Later that afternoon Lexie was seen, xray'd, diagnosed and treatment began. I am switching all my pets to SRH. they are amazing! They truly are vets for their love of animals and their empathy for the moms and dads of the animals is equally amazing! Read Less

This Veterinarian founded by Dr. Noble is the best on the North shore. Right off of RT.133 on the Ipswich/ Rowley line. They are very compationate with thier patients from cat's,dogs and equine. I have been taking my pet's there for 30 year's. Highly recommended to be the best. Read Less
