We have been bringing our pets to Central Animal Hospital for over 20 years. It feels like home. They have seen us in the good times and the bad. Dr Eileen MulCahy helped us treat our "little "Buster for diabetes and thyroid disease successfully giving him insulin for almost 3 years. When it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge she was right there to guide us through the process of grieving, no judgement, just lots of support. She also cared for my moms dog and many cats over many years. We currently have 2 dogs and a cat. We highly recommend Central Animal Hospital for all your pets needs. We are bias toward Dr MulCahey, but all of the vets are excellent. And please don't forget the techs! They are warm welcoming and friendly, and Linda who works upfront (I don't know what she does, but I think she does everything) is extremely knowledgeable and helpful every time.

I just recently brought my senior pup to Central and I had an amazing experience. They were kind and attentive and they did all his blood work on the room with me which I loved. My pup has a lot of health issues including seizures so I want to make sure he is comfortable and so am I. So far they have exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Good is a godsend! We moved to the area 1 year ago and can not say enough good things. We feel GOOD handing our furballs over to her every time. Our 13 year old kitty is deathly afraid of the vet and kind of turns into a little monster. She really gets it and puts our minds at ease. She sees how much of crazy cat people we are and makes sure to take care of us. Our cats are our children and Dr. Good gets it. We have never really been crazy about any past vets before and we just adore her!! The ladies up front are very pleasant, always. Bring your pets here if you want to feel safe, that is all I can say.

The staff is super friendly and were incredibly kind when it was time to say goodbye to a few of my Furry friends.Over the last 30 years they have always treated us like family. Great Pyrenees (Bubu)German shepherd mix (Sable)White Shepherd (Bailey)3 Shih tzu (Star,Sky,Snuggles)yellow lab (Puppy)chocolate lab (Jagger)pit mix (Roxy)Husky (Storm) All of my dogs have been happy and healthy and lived full lives thanks to the care the staff gives and none of them fear (Cue dramatic music) " THE VET" . I have been using Central Animal Hospital for over 30 years (guess that makes me kind of old). They are without a doubt the best around. Over the course of those years they have cared for five of my cats and three of my dogs. They. Are. WONDERFUL! The staff is amazingly from the front desk to the vet techs to the vets themselves. All of them are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, and all go the extra mile. My current dog is a pit/lab mix rescue, and was and is a handful at 90 pounds. He had all sorts of behavioral issues when we first adopted him, and Central Animal Hospital made the accommodations necessary to treat him safely. I heartily recommend them without reservation for all of your domestic pet care needs. :)

I cannot recommend this place enough. We made the switch from a closer animal hospital to this one a couple years ago and haven't looked back. There's just no comparison. Central has great veterinarians with knowledge, patience and heart. They take the time to explain what's really going on with your little furball and do so without talking down to you. They treat your pets like the family members you know they are and understand the investment of love, time and money you have and will pour into these pets. Sure, the wait can get long at times but it's worth it. Frankly, it speaks volumes of the staff: it's crowded because people trust their animals will be taken care of here and because you're not just another number to handle and push out the door. Great place!

This past Sunday we nearly lost one of our babies, our G'host the cat suffered another bout off FUD. It was 4 a.m. on a Sunday morning so we rushed him to Wachusett Animal Hospital the only people open up the time, not exactly pleased with them as soon as we could we transferred him over to Central Animal Hospital. They made room for him to be operated on Thursday morning even though they were booked up, when we called them on Wednesday to see how he was doing we found out the surgeon came in and operated early. They performed a P/U which from my standpoint is a very invasive surgery. They showed concern for both the animal and the owner. Unlike the last animal hospital that showed more concern for the money. This is why my son who lives in Revere travels all the way out to Leominster for veterinary services. We will never go to a different veterinary hospital.

Wow. So I wasn't going to review this place at all because it reminds me of one of the worst days of my life - two weeks ago when I had to bring my hedgehog, Bailey, who had cancer - to be put down there. But I just got a personal card in the mail from the veterinarian who took care of her saying how sorry she was but that I made the right decision. Dr Lauren Good is a godsend and literally perfect in every way. Though it was a horrible day the staff were immediately friendly and loving toward Bailey and took great care of her and me as I bawled in the waiting room. I wasn't expecting to ever hear from this place again, but the card really means a lot to me. It goes to show what a nice establishment it is and what great animal-lovers work there.I'm not ready to get another pet, but if I did Dr. Lauren Good would far and away be my veterinarian of choice.Highly recommend.

We have been taking our pets to Central Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Mulcahy and her staff are extremely professional, caring and responsive. They have worked with us as pets have aged and needed special treatments, teaching us how to administer such things as shots or drip lines so we could do it at home. Currently one of our cats has food allergies and they have been wonderful in helping us find the right diet. It is a bit of hike for us but we wouldn't trust our pets to any other veterinarian. I highly recommend them.

I just recently brought my senior pup to Central and I had an amazing experience. They were kind and attentive and they did all his blood work on the room with me which I loved. My pup has a lot of health issues including seizures so I want to make sure he is comfortable and so am I. So far they have exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Good is a godsend! We moved to the area 1 year ago and can not say enough good things. We feel GOOD handing our furballs over to her every time. Our 13 year old kitty is deathly afraid of the vet and kind of turns into a little monster. She really gets it and puts our minds at ease. She sees how much of crazy cat people we are and makes sure to take care of us. Our cats are our children and Dr. Good gets it. We have never really been crazy about any past vets before and we just adore her!! The ladies up front are very pleasant, always. Bring your pets here if you want to feel safe, that is all I can say.

I have been using Central Animal Hospital for over 30 years (guess that makes me kind of old). They are without a doubt the best around. Over the course of those years they have cared for five of my cats and three of my dogs. They. Are. WONDERFUL! The staff is amazingly from the front desk to the vet techs to the vets themselves. All of them are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, and all go the extra mile. My current dog is a pit/lab mix rescue, and was and is a handful at 90 pounds. He had all sorts of behavioral issues when we first adopted him, and Central Animal Hospital made the accommodations necessary to treat him safely. I heartily recommend them without reservation for all of your domestic pet care needs. :)

I cannot recommend this place enough. We made the switch from a closer animal hospital to this one a couple years ago and haven't looked back. There's just no comparison. Central has great veterinarians with knowledge, patience and heart. They take the time to explain what's really going on with your little furball and do so without talking down to you. They treat your pets like the family members you know they are and understand the investment of love, time and money you have and will pour into these pets. Sure, the wait can get long at times but it's worth it. Frankly, it speaks volumes of the staff: it's crowded because people trust their animals will be taken care of here and because you're not just another number to handle and push out the door. Great place!

This past Sunday we nearly lost one of our babies, our G'host the cat suffered another bout off FUD. It was 4 a.m. on a Sunday morning so we rushed him to Wachusett Animal Hospital the only people open up the time, not exactly pleased with them as soon as we could we transferred him over to Central Animal Hospital. They made room for him to be operated on Thursday morning even though they were booked up, when we called them on Wednesday to see how he was doing we found out the surgeon came in and operated early. They performed a P/U which from my standpoint is a very invasive surgery. They showed concern for both the animal and the owner. Unlike the last animal hospital that showed more concern for the money. This is why my son who lives in Revere travels all the way out to Leominster for veterinary services. We will never go to a different veterinary hospital.

Wow. So I wasn't going to review this place at all because it reminds me of one of the worst days of my life - two weeks ago when I had to bring my hedgehog, Bailey, who had cancer - to be put down there. But I just got a personal card in the mail from the veterinarian who took care of her saying how sorry she was but that I made the right decision. Dr Lauren Good is a godsend and literally perfect in every way. Though it was a horrible day the staff were immediately friendly and loving toward Bailey and took great care of her and me as I bawled in the waiting room. I wasn't expecting to ever hear from this place again, but the card really means a lot to me. It goes to show what a nice establishment it is and what great animal-lovers work there.I'm not ready to get another pet, but if I did Dr. Lauren Good would far and away be my veterinarian of choice.Highly recommend.

We have been taking our pets to Central Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Mulcahy and her staff are extremely professional, caring and responsive. They have worked with us as pets have aged and needed special treatments, teaching us how to administer such things as shots or drip lines so we could do it at home. Currently one of our cats has food allergies and they have been wonderful in helping us find the right diet. It is a bit of hike for us but we wouldn't trust our pets to any other veterinarian. I highly recommend them.
