Although I agree the staff was wonderful, I strongly disagree with the previous review of Dr Maher.  I had been a client of Marblehead Animal Hospital for better than 20 years, going back to Dr Parisi.  Since Dr Maher took over the practice the motto had been "business first, animal care second."  Our dog of 12 years needed to see a specialist in Boston for her eye.  Not only was Dr Maher clueless as to what was going on with our dog, because we had a small balance on our account she would not release our dog's recored untilt he balnace was paid.  After twenty years of loyalty to the business, when we had a slight financial problem, they didn't care.  Pay us or we won't send the dog's records.  Unfortunately we had to euthanize our dog.  I don't blaim Dr Maher for our dog's final health problems, but the lack of caring for our dog at a time when she needed it most really hurt.
