Made a appointment for my dog to be seen for a spider bite early in the week finally ready to be seen and they tell me that they can't do anything because they close in 20 minutes. The vet tells me  she will have a staff meeting and tell her staff not to make appointments that close to closing. Made me wait for nothing! I love Chase Vet! I have been using them for my dogs and horse for ~10 years. They always take great care of my guys and are extremely patient with one of my dogs that is nervous at the vet. I recently had to have my dog, who is my best friend put to sleep at Chase and there staff was amazing. I was a wreck and the people there were great. It's been about 5 days and even after all they did to help me through it, I received a card today from my Veterinarian Dr. Lipinski with her condolences and my dogs paw print. Love Chase Vet clinic. They have been wonderful with my dog Porkchop and all of his issues that have come up. Its very reasonably priced as well. I cant say enough great things. Dr. Bernstein is by far one of the best veterinarians we've ever dealt with. My mom and I have been taking our animals to chase vet for 30+ years and sometimes contemplated taking them elsewhere until Dr. Bernstein started there. From dealing with my cat with a fractured pelvis, abscess that got bad and needed to be stiched, random incidents we went through with him, plus an older cat that has frequent uti issues that Bernstein always helped us get her on the right meds right away, also taking care of my 3 dogs over the last few years (one had a tumor that she helped us through the whole process. The dog had to get checked into a major animal hospital and Bernstein continued to call to check in with me, ask me if i had any questions, etc even though we weren't dealing through chase!) Today we had a major scare as my accident prone cat was not himself. After contacting her, she got me right in even though she was supposed to be out of the office for the day. Wow! By the time we got home he was already acting like his normal self and got the antibiotics he needed. She has the biggest heart for animals which makes us trust everything she does or suggests. She truly goes above and beyond! I'm not one to leave reviews but after our little scare today and thinking back on what we've been through I hope she knows how much we appreciate her! Read Less

My cat, Gigi, has been to chase a couple of times. About a year ago I notice a lump on her abdomen. And just yesterday I had to put her to sleep cause it had gotten much bigger and she even licked it open. They allowed me to be with her up unti they had to peacefully wrap her body up. My cat Mickey has been a patient of Chase for several years. We are very happy with all of the doctors we have seen. At times, they have fit us in for an unexpected appointment ( when the situation warranted.) Other times, I have had a doctor or staff member call me back to give advice that has saved me the time and expense of having to bring my cat into the office. We have been going to this vet for 13 years and really never had a problem.   However, our 9 year old boxer/greyhound mix is not doing well at all. I called earlier this week to get them to see him and they wouldn't get me in until Saturday. Today I called and begged them to see him and they wouldn't help us.  After 13 years,!!! And we've been loyal customers with eight animals that have gone to them and no exceptions.  I just called a new vet in Carver and told them the story and we have an appointment in two hours. I will be transferring all of our records there now.  No customer loyalty or concern at all. Who would want people like that taking care of their pets??? Read Less

I have been to Chase Veterinary Clinic several times over the last few months, mostly with my cat Randy, who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I also have a 13 year old dog, who has multiple health problems, and his time here is very short. If you want your pet to survive, stay far away.  I brought my cat in for an issue with her mouth.  Dr. Lauren Bernstein examined her for literally a minute and determined that it was a tumor in her mouth. She then brought my cat into another room with her assistant to examine it in better lighting. There wasn't much examining going on since I could hear them through the door talking. When she came back into the room where I was, she was unclear about the severity of the issue until she stated "in about 3-4 weeks you are going to want to think about putting her down". She told me surgery was an option but didn't recommend it because the disease had probably spread and if they didn't get it all, it would come right back and it wasn't worth putting my cat through the trauma.  The bedside manner was far from compassionate and her delivery of the diagnosis unclear. I walked out of there with my head spinning thinking WTF just happened? After a week of thinking my cat was dying, I decided to get a second opinion. After a biopsy and a full examination which included sedating my cat to get a true look at what was going on in my cats mouth, my second opinion turns out that she merely has bad teeth and needs a few teeth extracted and my cat will live on. Long story short, if you are looking to euthanize your pet based upon an inexperienced vets opinion, go to Chase Veterinary Clinic! Read Less

I have loved the care from every vet I have seen at Chase! Their prices are amazing. When my dog needed surgery I was quoted 1k and up from 3 other vets. Chase did the same surgery for 400$ with meds and a checkup included! When my dog needed an ultrasound for potential bladder stones they included it into the office visit fee! Theyre amazing in so many ways! They were very compassionate when I had to put my 15 year old dog down. I couldn't ask for better vets. 5 STARS! Read Less

Great veterinary clinic! I have been Roxcee there for two years and am totally amazed at the lack of sticker shock! Our last vet charged twice as much and could never get an appointment for an emergency. Chase has been wonderful and am so glad the rescue that I got Roxcee from recommended them or I would still be stuck on stupid at my old vet! Such a weird set up with the entrance/exit here. I brought my pup here, and literally almost couldn't get her into the waiting area from the little foyer entrance way. She immediately started shaking as if petrified of this place! They bring you in another room off the waiting area, and you are rushed so fast that before you know it you are at the exit paying!My dog had vibes, and I should of listened! The Doctor (Chase) was too aggressive with my dog. No privacy with the Doctor.Claustrophobic atmosphere.  I will go to a Vet that doesn't freak my dog out in the future. Read Less

Brought my cat there for a check up. Everyone was really friendly. However, my one complaint is that i felt a little rushed because they were such a fast place clinic. I felt like i had to spit out all my concerns before they booted me out the door, and  paid $115 for a five minute service. But they did handle my cat with good care so I'll give them that! Fabulous veterinary clinic! Dr. Chase and his staff are wonderful at taking good care of the animals they see. They work on cats and dogs, and also on larger animals such as horses. They neutered my cat, and did so very quickly and he was back to normal by the time we got home.  Highly recommend taking your pet here! Read Less

Brought our dog here after he had been throwing up for days. Had X-rays and blood work done for $400, fine. Money is no object for a family member. We were told our dog was fine, and healthy for an older dog. After days of him not being better, we bring him to the hospital where we find out he has pneumonia and tumors on his lungs, and couldn't breathe! How do you miss that? What if it was your dog? If chase had actually looked at the X-rays we were charged for, we could've acted quicker. And if you did look at the X-rays, you should go back to school.Read Less

Please Read!!  I hope this post possibly saves a very ill pet from dying.  I used Chase Veterinary Clinic for a Well Visit after receiving an AKC puppy out of state.  It was only 8 weeks old and we had gotten her two days prior.  We noticed the pup coughing when we picked her up but not too bad.  By two days later upon seeing the vet for their first exam they told me that she was totally fine.  By the next day, the puppy was very lethargic and lifeless.  I called the vets very upset wondering if I should bring her in.  Instead of telling me to come in...they basically diagnosed her over the phone and said that they would leave antibiotic drops for her at the front desk for me to pick up later on in the afternoon.  About an hour later, I called back and wanted to see if they could have the med ready earlier because I was worried the pup was really sick at this point.  When I called back, the front desk woman was so rude.  She answered my questions with a question..told me if the dr. said a certain time of day, then that's when I pick it up.  I told her how weak the pup was and that i was nervous and all they said to me was that if the meds didn't work, they "might" be able to squeeze me in the next day.  After getting off the phone with them for the 2cd time.  I decided to take her to the hospital.  Upon arriving there, she had a 105 temp, was so sick they told me they had to keep her and run tests.  I got a call later on in the day from the hospital saying to me that the pup was so sick she had hardly any white blood cells, she had phenomonia , and kennel cough... they weren't even sure they could save her.  She spent the next 3 days in the hospital.  But in the end, she made it out ok.  I was able to take her home and give her breathing treatments and meds at home to nurse her back to health.  I am upset for the way the vet handled my call... they totally dropped the ball too with the puppy seeing as they signed off on her being totally healthy the day before.  I would never risk her life with them ever again.  Had I not gone with my own instincts to bring her in when I did.... the hospital told me she wouldn't have made it through the night.  I can't give these people a good review becuase I think they were horrible with screening emergencies and had 0 compassion over the phone.  I plan on calling them in the am to let them know that i will not be using them anymore.  There are plenty of really good vets out there... All I ask is that you do your research... make sure they have a good reputation.  The first red flag with anywhere I would steer clear of the place.  I hope this helps!! Read Less

Sometimes the front staff comes off as grumpy and rude, but I just think some of the ladies are a little rough around the edges because I always change my mind about them, so I guess as time passes they warm up a bit. Dr. Chase is a wonderful man. He is helpful, caring, and takes good care of the animals, but I cannot say I was as impressed with some of the other veterinarians (but these just may be personality flaws, so I can overlook them). The building is beautiful, and there is plenty of parking. The office hours aren't bad, and the prices are good. I would recommend Chase Veterinary Clinic. Read Less

I can not say enough about this place.  I now live in Dedham & still bring my cat to Dr. Chase (or trusted colleague) My cat is not your average house cat ..... He seems to find medical problems.  He has had his third eyelid need surgery & he has needed stitches on his behind (don't let him know I told ya) ..... This cat finds trpouble in all kinds of places! Chase has been my families choice since Dr. Rice in Carver left years ago.... He has seen and cared for many pets over the years and I even saw some chatter on Facebook about him caring for horses..... I would recommend him to anyone! I will say, that in a pinch I called a local vet in Dedham due to my cat's attempts at making friends with another male cat here...... Yep, mine lost!!! and they couldn't see the bruised and battered baby of mine..... so, 45 minutes south to Middleboro i went .... again making me realize how wonderful Chase Veterinary Clinic is and how worth that 45 minutes it is to know he will make time when it is needed!
