This place is amazing...I had to have an emergency c section for my American Bully and I tried to take her to the emergency room in Natick but they wanted 3,000$ upfront ..after I had already spent 500$ for x-rays and to induce her into labor...mind you they wanted the money before they even tried looking at my dog, knowing she was in critical condition...the next morning I frantically looked for a vet and came across Natick Animal Clinic and they are my saving angels. They wasn't worried if I could pay up front or not they said they would work with me for a payment plan....I took my little girl in and the surgeon was awesome came in and explained everything to us in a way we could understand and made us feel more at ease as to the fate of out little girl. They never pushed other tests on me and never made me feel guilty for the decision I made for my baby girl...even after surgery they called everyday for a week to ask how Minnie was doing and feeling...everyone was very nice and attentive to my baby girl. The office area as well as the back room didn't smell bad at all was nice and clean...very nice place and awesome people that work here....I highly recommend you bring your fur babies here. I had a great experience bring my new puppy here for the first time. The receptionist matched me with Dr. Schmidt who was very knowledgeable about German Shepherds and spent over an hour talking with me about proper puppy care, He was extremely gentle and showed care and compassion towards my dog. The entire staff was very welcoming and wonderful to interact with. The Vet fees and price were the same as the other clinics I looked into, The receipt was itemized and made it clear what I was being charged for and how much. They suggested pet insurance and strongly encouraged me to shop around for one that I felt comfortable with. They even gave me a promo code for Turpanion insurance for free 30 days coverage with no obligation to continue (they will call you to see if you want to continue coverage) The office hours are very flexible, I was surprised I was able to make an appointment on a Sat to see the Vet. I am so amazed at the service both for my dog and myself that Natick Animal Clinic provided.  When my eight-year-old chocolate lab, Willie Chancho, blew out his knee he required an extensive surgery. I was initially quoted by a different local that clinic it would cost me over $5000.  Being a social worker and in graduate school, I simply could not afford that amount. I called around asking of anyone would be willing to help me and Natick Animal Clinic came to the rescue. Not only did they offer a reasonable amount for this procedure, they also kept in constant communication and talked me through everything.  They made the whole process simple and reassured me every step of the way. The response time when I asked a question or needed help was within the day and was always positive and welcomed.  In the past, other vets seem to be annoyed when you ask a lot of questions or contact them a lot, this clinic welcomes them and made me feel important as the customer. To be honest, I haven't had the best experiences with Vet Clinics, and I'll admit I sometimes reference them as the animal equivalent of a car dealership, but my faith has been restored with the Natick Animal Clinic and their staff! I cannot express the gratitude I have for their compassion, empathy, and overall amazing customer service.  I live over 30 minutes away from this clinic and am more than willing to drive double that to get the service for my dog again. We have been taking Chudleigh (2 year old black lab) there for veterinary needs, training, Doggy day care and even boarding since the day after we got her at 9 weeks old. We have been very pleased with all the services.  Before that we had Marley (also a black lab) and took her there to from the time we moved to the area until we lost her at 12 years old.  Now we have a new little yellow lab puppy too and he was there with in 14 hours we had him for his first check up.  He will be starting puppy classes there too soon. I've been bringing my dog, Brody here for a little over a year now. He loves it more than anything. As soon as were within half a mile of this place he goes absolutely nuts in excitement. They have daycare live cameras so you can watch your pet when there outside playing. Awesome perk. When we get home Brody just eats and goes straight to bed. It seems to drain all his energy. Which is a great thing as he is full of it. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a doggie daycare. The staff are very knowledgable and seem to love what they do. Easy 5 stars from me. If I could give no stars I would. I brought my dog here for years because they gave a first responder discount. Well it is no discount if you consider how overpriced they are. They also would not do certain shots together so I would end up having to pay several office visit fees. The new vet said there was no reason those shots could not have been done all at once. They booked a rabies 1 day late so I couldn't get the 4 year. Just so many ways to manipulate and make more money. I only stayed for convenience because it was so close. The kicker was when I boarded my dog there and she got Kennel Cough. I know that it can happen and even with the shot there are different strains. My dog was not supposed to be socialized with other dogs so obviously they didn't clean the kennel or their hands very good because she should not have caught it. Yeah yeah yeah...highly contagious...I get it. Wait for it though...I bring her in to the vet after a week because I thought she was going to die from it. It was SO BAD...they flipping tried to charge me for the visit and the medicine!!!!! ARE YOU FOR REAL!!!! SHE and many other dogs got sick because of you!!! In your facility and you want me to pay? I obviously refused to pay and requested my records. THEY FRICKING CHARGED ME FOR THE RECORDS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The vets are pretty nice but you may as well take a $100 bill and light it on fire. My pets have been going to the Natick Animal Clinic and kennel (hotel) for years now. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone at the kennel really are animal lovers, and they are all very genuine and friendly. I never worry when I bring my basset hound or guinea pigs in for a stay. In fact, I do think my basset has more fun staying at the kennel with all the staff who fawn over her, versus staying at home! I know my pets are in good hands and are being well taken care of. The staff here are wonderful! Our (spoiled!) pup has a vet, goes to the doggy day care, has gone through training courses, and gets pampered at the spa. We have always been satisfied with NAC's services. The boarding rates can be a little pricey, but overall our dog loves any trip here! Read Less

This is an absolutely first-rate veterinary clinic. The drs and techs are extremely good. You just cannot fault them for attentiveness, friendliness, and professional skill. We especially appreciate Dr Schmitt, but other providers we have seen occasionally at this practice also made a very good impression. The receptionists seem always able to get our dog in for an unscheduled appointment promptly. The drs see patients on time, and always carefully explain their recommendations and answer all questions clearly. They have good judgment about what tests or procedures are necessary to do. Dr Schmitt always makes a follow-up call a few days after each appointment to check on how the dog is faring and to answer any questions that may have arisen. (Don't you wish your "people doctor" did that?!)    More generally, this practice employs good people who seem to enjoy their work and to love animals. My husband and I treat our dog like the child we don't have, so we are very particular about his vet care. However, we have never been less than 100% satisfied with the services we have received at Natick Animal Clinic. The associated Four Paws Spa is also good and will cheerfully accommodate special requests/special needs.  We do not send the dog for boarding, so I can't comment on that aspect of the business. Dr. Moolenbeek and the rest of the staff at Natick Animal Clinic are fantastic. We just moved back to MA from a few years in DC and they made it so easy to resume our dogs' care with them. Dr Moolenbeek in particular is excellent, she has gone above and beyond to follow up with me in trying to resolve one of my dog's behavioral difficulties after I first mentioned it at our appointment. This is the only place that I have brought my two dogs for the past four years for vet visits, doggie day care and grooming. The staff--vet and day care alike--are exceedingly dedicated. For vet visits, I have seen two vets (each dog has his own...) and also spoken with other vets for urgent issues when our regular vets were on vacation--they always told me what my options were, how much everything cost, what they would do and so on. The doggie day care staff is simply the best I have found in MetroWest and in Cambridge. They are dedicated, know the animals and take care of my "boys" as if they were their own. Grooming prices have gone up in the past several years, but I still find that they do an excellent job on my two dogs and I can't see taking them somewhere else to save $5. Read Less
