Please do not go here. I brought my dogs and cat in for their combined new patient appointments and annual checkups as I have just moved to the Newton area. I even booked the appointment two months ahead of time and had all medical records sent to them proactively. Long story short, I go in, wait for my room, which I get to and its the size of a handkerchief and entirely too small for my two greyhounds and great dane - definitely something I wish they would have disclosed, as my dogs did trip over each other constantly throughout the appointment and I would never had brought them all at once if I hadn't been assured they could accommodate them. Dr. Bald seems nice enough, the vet techs are very friendly, but unfortunately the quality of care was abysmal. Aside from checkups and some boosters costing me $533 ($70 for a booster? shameful), they attempted to charge me another $260 on top of the $533 that I did not authorize for pre-surgery blood work. Glad I caught it, as I had not booked any surgery with them and only discussed neutering my Dane in the near future and needing my cat's teeth done, which isn't surgical. And oh yes, that's also right, they initially quoted me $1252 to have my 125 pound Dane neutered, before "recalculating" and bringing it down to the $800 range after I told them they were absurd (FYI I went to my prior vet and had him neutered for $349 to put that obscene $1200 figure in perspective). The whole trip left me upset and feeling completely taken advantage of. BUT WAIT. There's more. I get a call a few days later that, apparently, and here's the real kicker, they did not read one of my dog's files correctly and double vaccinated him. Complete negligence right there. I don't know what job is more important as a vet than knowing your animal-patient history. They shouldn't even have a license to practice veterinary medicine if those are the kinds of unsafe, careless mistakes they are making, and oh-so nonchalantly. But they say I can bring in my dog and have his next, less expensive booster for free. Yay. Thanks so much. And, this gets followed up with the manger taking almost three weeks to call me to discuss their ridiculous neutering prices (I had the scheduled and already neutered by the time I got a call back from these "professionals"). All in all, AWFUL experience. Maybe some people will have better luck with this place, but unfortunately I got the short end of the stick in every which way, with the only exception being the friendly vet techs. Read Less
