Falmouth Animal Hospital is very thorough with your pet examination, but extremely overpriced and their protocol requires you to have expensive exams done prior to when your pet actually needs them or other vets require. I have found that on average, one visit is always over a hundred dollars and their prices are at least twenty dollars more than surrounding vets for the same procedure. Their phones do not work very well, you have to call in multiple times to get through and their staff is not always the friendliest or understanding. Expect your pet to be taken care of at a quality level, but spend a lot (which they do not inform you of until the end of the visit). Read Less

The BEST vet office ever!! They went above and beyond for my dog daughter. They've literally saved my fur baby's life TWICE!!! They could've just sent us to another vet, but the took on the responsibilities, even some financial costs and personal devotion to care for Cashmere (my fur baby) and save her life. This is an exceptionally impressive veterinary hospital. I changed vets at the advice of my sister who was bringing her dog to Falmouth Animal Hospital. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a chalk board with my dog's name written on it along with all the other patients of the day! There is a separate waiting area for dogs and cats. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and most wonderful of all, everyone is off the charts caring, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of both owner and animal. Our dog Trooper is soon to be 14 and after years of perfect health is having a few problems. What a relief to have found Dr. Hauser and Dr. Z. They are smart, positive, practical and kind. I was welcomed with open arms, by Nick over the phone & was given an appointment for later that morning.  It's just the type of place I was looking for and hoped it would be; clean, professional, with courteous and compassionate staff.  Dr Hauser was knowledgeable, informative, kind and on time. In March, my 108lb Yellow Lab Jack & I relocated to Falmouth, MA from San Diego, CA.  Jack got a soft tissue strain from chasing a rabbit a long distance.  Then days later, he slammed into a lamp post of our driveway as he was chasing a squirrel that made a fast 90 degree hard right turn (the front 2/3's of Jack's body made the turn but his left hind quarter skidded into the post). I brought Jack to Falmouth Animal Hospital because of a referral. I've got to say, their entire team with whom we had contact is exceptional: Kathy in reception, Caitlyn & Evan (vet techs) & Jennifer Zilinski, DVM, MPH.  I have never had a group of people be so caring, knowledgeable & forthright.  Everything that was said and done was in "Jack's" best interest and not that of the practice. Dr. Dave is great!  My yorkie has been going here for years and we have had a great experience every time.  They are very friendly and the doctors are responsive and informative.  The first time I went there, the doctor came in and immediately introduced himself to me and to my dog.  He picked up my dog and hugged him (he's small) so he would feel more comfortable.  My yorkie has some fairly serious medical issues and Dr. Dave has been nothing short of amazing.  He listens to my concerns and explains what care can be provided.  I feel very comfortable taking my little guy there and would highly recommend them!
