The Vet is very knowledgeable and helpful. She will go out of her way to do what is best for your pet and really cares about animals. Veterinary costs can be very expensive, and they try to help you find a way for you to do what's best for your pet while working with your budget. We love bringing our animals to Dr. Nancy Owen and her staff at North King Animal Clinic. The front of house could not be more welcoming, and we have always found the fees for treatment and services to be the most reasonable in our years of pet ownership. On two occasions our dog Shipley has been injured rather severely, requiring treatment at the emergency hospital. On both occasions Dr. Owen was a critical member of her after care; always holding great concern for our dog's comfort, pain management, and total recovery; we trust her implicitly. We have just adopted a second dog and were delighted to bring her in for her initial visit - not only is she now a member of our family, but also a member of the North King family.Read Less

Dr. Owen is an excellent vet and doesn't overcharge. I drive 20 miles from home to take my cats to her. Anyone who thinks her rates are high has not been to other Valley animal doctors, as she only did necessary tests. Dr Owen. is a bit. reticent, says little but you can trust her. Had an amazing experience today when I had to say goodbye to my rat friend. Thank you to Dr. Owen. I cannot sing your praises enough. The experience was as peaceful as it could have been and I had called around until I found a place who would do the procedure in a way I felt comfortable. Using a local anesthetic and then a sedative first made it so much easier to make the choice. Thank you again. Everyone was caring and friendly and very sympathetic. Dr. Lewis and her staff are wonderful; competent, compassionate, informative and patient. We have been going to the Clinic with our animals for over 20 years. Not only have they given us sound, helpful advice, they have taken into account our personal circumstances and family wishes. They have grown with our "people" and "animal" family and have shown us all love throughout the years. Nancy helped us with a very premature kitten and he has survived to be a great cat! The staff mourned with us as they helped our 15 year old dog to die when it was time and they helped us ease her pain until that time came. I have been to many vets, but this one was the friendliest and also most professional that I have been to. The staff was extremely pleasant and made my cat feel very special.
