When I inherited my beloved moms two dogs I knew that I needed them to be under the best care possible in every aspect, professionally, temperamentally, emotionally even empathetically. I had worked with two vets in the area before changing to Noah’s Ark, I now have 4 dogs and have now been there for 4 years and will gratefully continue to do so.
The staff shows incredible kindness and patience with everything from routine care to emergency care to even late night phone calls. They take time to help answer questions and go through any helpful information. I have never felt judged in the office by any of my dogs behaviors or incidences whether I worry that they may be overweight, too antisocial or too aggressive. I have never felt pressured to make a decision or purchase any products or treatment.
When one of my dogs was injured, I was seen quickly by Dr Goodreau. Though the surgery could have been pushed off until another day with some home care instructions, Dr Goodreau stayed in the office until 5pm on a Saturday to perform surgery when the office had closed at 1pm. Though she did not mention it, I knew this was not something that she had to do but chose to out of empathy for my dog. All the while, Dr Peters (who was not working that day) had been texting me from 9pm the night of the injury to the next day after surgery to see how my dog was doing.
In my opinion, Noah’s Ark has always and continues to provide kind, gentle, and thorough care. Read Less
