I can't say enough good things about the Cat Clinic of Plymouth, MA!  I grew up in Plymouth and was always aware of the building, but it wasn't until I moved back to town as an adult that I knew I had to make the switch with our two older cats.  Last year we transitioned our 11-year-old cats to the Cat Clinic and could tell instantly we were in great hands.  The inevitability of running into dogs at previous vets was stressful for our cats and therefore for me.  A cats-only environment not only alleviates that but means that these clinicians are true feline subject matter experts.  The entire staff dotes on every kitty that comes through the door.  I've met wonderful fellow cat parents in the waiting area throughout the last year.Sadly through last fall into winter, one of our beloved kitties became quite ill and it turned out she had lymphoma.  Every person at the Cat Clinic played a role in getting us through this traumatic life event from testing to diagnosis to treatment to saying goodbye.  These people love cats, and they really understand that they are caring for members of our families.This spring we welcomed two new kittens to join our 12-year-old cat, so we have now have patients at opposite ends of the age spectrum!  Once again the Cat Clinic staff is knowledgable and thorough with their care.  We trust that our kittens and older cat are in the best possible hands.  I highly recommend the Cat Clinic to anyone who wants great care and attention for their feline family members! My Wendy is a 14 yr old tuxedo and she is a challenge....and they are very patient with her trust me she is no walk in the park lol. My other cat Levi was due to see them but he became sick due to a UTI blockage, it was his 2nd in just over 2 and half yrs. I watched try to go potty for almost 4 hrs, it was awful and when i picked him up I could feel how full he was inside. So I had to make the worse decision ever as a pet owner, I simply didn't feel it would be kind to him if I made him wait almost 10 more hours. I had to call CC of Plymouth and let them know, I also had to let them know Wendy was not eating....mind you these 2 didn't really get along . They were so caring and compassionate for Levi a cat they didn't get to meet, they sent me the sweetest card with words of kindness and support. Prior to adopting my Skeeter he was seen at the Cat Clinic and though I knew this I choose to original go to the same vet my parents bring their dogs. After my initial visit I realized my parents loved them because they are amazing with dogs, but with cats not so much so I decided to give the Cat Clinic a try. Even though I changed Skeeter's name (it was Jeeter) they remembered him coming in with a stomach issue and that he had been adopted and returned prior to me adopting him. Bringing him in for his physical, nail trim, and most recently dental with extractions is very anxiety provoking for him. The whole staff is so understanding of him and have been extremely gentle, sweet, kind, loving, and caring even when he gives them his 'I don't want to be here" attitude. I would whole heartedly recommend the Cat Clinic to all cat parents and I am sure Skeeter would too. We both love the Cat Clinic and staff and can not thank them enough for all they do for Skeeter. My kitty was 24years old and I had her since she was 8 weeks old. She was not my pet she was my baby! I could not imagine treating her any different then my son who was 8 years old when she passed. Dr Kelly Dr ducket and the all the staff treated her just as I did like she was my baby and they treated me like a mom at the pedestrians office and a friend. They talked to me with compassion and yet gave me the facts, always. When she was in her last year and really sick they didn't treat her like a pet they still treated her like my baby and did everything to make her happy, They helped me through, even after she was gone they were still there for me. I cannot recommend these people highly enough. Our beloved old cat struggled with multiple health issues, which worsened over the last few months. Dr. Kelley and Dr. Duckett and the entire staff simply could not have been more helpful. They patiently, kindly, and expertly helped us to diagnose the issues - not always an easy or straightforward thing - and through a combination of medications and procedures was able to give us several more months of good quality time with our dear little friend. Special thanks also to super vet tech Jessica, who went over and above on many occasions and in so many ways. When the time finally came to say goodbye - yesterday morning - they were, again, as kind, compassionate, patient, and gentle as anyone could possibly have been. Super great vet. Very thorough, and there's something nice about a vet who can switch between cooing and snuggling my new kitten, sharing in how very excited _I_ am to have him, to checking him over. I live in Bridgewater which is sort of a haul from Plymouth, but it's worth the half-hour drive-- the clinic is always really quiet, and waits short. Previously, I'd brought my cat to a clinic that saw cats and dogs and gerbils and everything else, which was great (they really are great!) but I felt too overwhelmed by the myriad of animals in the waiting room at any given moment. Since finally moving on, I've been going to the Cat Clinic, and they've just been wonderful on every count.Plus they've really great cat wallpaper, haha. Read Less

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!My cat is highly allergic to shots and we had a couple of vets who, because he is an indoor cat, waived the rabies for us.  Then we went here and the "vet" was a nightmare.  She said that if our cat got rabies they'd have to "cut its head off" and "how would you like to see your cat's head on a stick?"  SICK woman!!! The Cat Clinic is amazing. We adopted our kitty when he was just a baby, he was a stray and in really bad shape when we adopted him. The Cat Clinic brought him back to life. Through ever step of the way, they were always there to answer questions and were truly concerned about Emilio's health. From his first shots, to his neutering, and to the time we had an emergency with worms. They are always there and ready for your call. This is a fantastic place.  We recently lost our oldest little guy after a short battle with FIP and even though the staff only knew him/us for a little over a month, they were so caring and compassionate.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone with cats.  We used to go to the Other Vet (Plymouth Animal Hospital) and they would try to bully us into unnecessary shots just to pad the bill.  Dr. Kelley isn't like that - she really cares about her patients.  Absolutely fabulous.
